Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

We think this bag may have blown away. We all looked in various places but all with the same result. Leaves and dirt but nothing more.
Out for the day with Snickersallen & nikid1 for a lovely walk through Karawatha Forest with this series being our main aim.
Pretty sure we found the spot in the photo from the last finder but the bag must have blown away so no smiley for us today.

Met up with geo friends KerriMG and nikid1 to primarily do the Holden Series and a few other caches in the Karawatha Forest today.
Knew where the cache should be but no luck today.

I searched all around ground zero and several metres further out as well but I couldn't find any sign of the log or the baggie.
Found log paper and plastic bag. Container missing. Someone has used this as a dumping spot for cans.
Caching today with boonimajneB and Linclenny. TFTC!
Unfortunately the container is missing but we found the paper log and plastic bag; see note and photos.

After finding this one, I took a left turn and went bush to see where the track went. Came out not far from number 15 so did the rest in reverse order.
Most days I go for a bike ride through Karawatha late in the afternoon. I have a few circuits that I know will fit in a certain time if I need to be home to get ready to head out for a night time meeting. I generally ignore geocaches on these rides, but along the Maculata Trail see the little geotrails and wonder if some day I should stop. Today I figured why not, even though there really is no appeal with them, I'm within metres anyways. Might even get to the final one day. Today was a bigger loop that I really enjoy along the Wallaby Trail, Dianella Track, Casuarina Trail down to the Illaweena St Picnic Area, Wild May Trail to the Hakea Trail and up to the junction here on Maculata.
As usual, plenty of wallabies, tiny birds and dozens of flies out. I even spotted a whip snake today! I enjoy riding around Karawatha, so close to home and some gentle hills - makes me grateful for Queensland. Having found a few of this series on the weekend, I decided to grab another couple today. I rolled a little bit along the trail, just past Poets Rock to my left. After pausing my geocaching podcast, double checking the map I began looking. My phone wasn't putting the little 'you are here' dot within a kilomtre of where I was, so just sniffed out the obvious spot and had the geocache in hand within a minute. Another eclipse tin, oh, right. Just what a massive forest area needs for a geocache. I snapped a photo of the clue plate before replacing all back as found. There we go, two quick smilies for the day - nothing too challenging here and quite reflective of the low D/T rating. From here it must be time to head home and listen to this podcast about the Seattle APE cache. Thanks dranyer.

With a free day, a plan was hatched for a trip over the river to ride my new Merida around Karawatha, followed by a few hours touring around the 'burbs.
Thanks for the hunt **dranyer**, this find makes #4136. Discover our TB

Found amongst some old drink cans. Why do people carry full cans ok, but find themselves incapable of carrying the empty cans out to a rubbish bin? Signed the log, noted the clue tile, and replaced. TFTC, dranyer.
Over visiting from NZ and thought this would be an interesting bush walk. Started this trail at the Illaweena entrance and did the first 5. Then drove back around to the eastern entrance to get the rest. Found them all, except number 10, and there were no code tags in 8 or 9 either. Once I got the hang of the CO's MO, most of the caches were a relatively quick find in the logical place.
Apologies in advance for the cut and paste logs for this series. TFTC

It's Thursday Fun Day with the girls again and today barbbowman, my muggle mother-in-law Pat (who's 77) and I are going to take a walk along the holden series
We kept going back to the same place to try and find this one, but something was putting us off. I checked the spot for a THIRD time (LOL!), moved something aside and there was the cache. Unfortunately the forest would benefit from a CITO. The log is really full on this one, a new one would be lovely please Log signed, clue collected, it was then it was on to cache #7. TFTC dranyer

At this point we decided it was too hot to continue. After finding we started to head down another track in search of the oldest cache in QLD. TFTC
Early morning jaunt through the bush to pick up a few more of the HS caches. It is quite cool under the trees at this hour of the morning so I was able to set up quite a brisk walking pace. We had already logged the odd one here and there, so in quite a few places I just walked on by caches already logged. In all I was able to find six caches just within an hour so very happy with the effort. Thanks Dranyer for placing caches in this wonderful bush area.
Log book signed and replaced. Found at 6.05am on 22nd November 2016. TFTC.

It really was getting warm now, but we were powering on. My new little caching buddy was starting to loose interest in the repartition of the caches and I knew that there would only be a few more before it was time to call it quits.
This geocache was part of an adventure whilst out on a 'Funday Sunday Mountain Adventure' last week with my Muggle partner (still am working on making this a F2F also, but it's not looking good) and his sister. We decided that we would head out to the Karawatha Forest to explore some of the trails located within today.
As any addicted Geocacher would do, I just checked out what caches might be around the area... I mean, how could I honestly go outside without grabbing a single cache?!?! I was glad to see that there was a little trail of caches running along right where we were going to be exploring, so with that, I knew I'd get at least one cache today.
Thanks for the cache dranyer. All is in order here!

A morning walk with the geodog. I did not complete all the series as I needed to get back to get ready for work this afternoon. I had started this series some time ago but had time constraints back then too.
Had to wait for a passing muggle on a bike to get this one! TFTC dranyer

After getting new bikes yesterday we decided to test them out while collecting some more smileys. when we woke up this morning the forecast said it was going to rain but we were game to go out anyway. We had an amazing day pedalling in the rain and finding your caches. upon coming to GZ we had a few places that we thought the cache could have been, geodaughter found this one. Thank you Drayer for placing these caches.
Here I saw the only other walker all day: a bit startling for both of us, I'd say.
The cache was soon in hand so TFTC.

Nice easy find!! Continuing the trend of either finding the cache super quick, or not at all. Thanks dranyer!
Back onto this series again after a hill climb detour to Poets rock. A quick find on this one. TFTC
Found in first spot checked. Found the log full and didn't have any paper with me. TFTC dranyer
Hiked through the forest from Trinder Park station to the Stretton Picnic area to collect this series. TFTC dranyer
I had never been to this forest before and with a plan to pick up the oldest cache in Qld I made my way along a nice trail of caches.Took note of the clues along the way. TFTC
We hit the trail to get this one. Pretty hot today but we persevered. First couple had us looking for quite a while before we spotted them but then we got better about what we were looking for. Collected the info (though there was one cache in the series we were ot able to find). Thanks to dranyer for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the location.
Out and about in the forest today, hunting down caches in the HS series. Second find of the day, log signed and on to the next one. TFTC
I was going for a walk in the area with AmyWeb and a muggle friend and this cache was on the way. Nice cache. TFTC!
TFTC. Time for a bite to eat and drink. Annoyed to see so much rubbish at this spot
awesome little series. have taken note of all the clues needed and will work out the puzzle at home. have lots more in the area that I need to find so it will make me make another trip over here in the future TFTC
I had been eyeing this series off for a little while and today finally made my way out to take a look. I packed the bike in the car and headed off from home.
Soon I arrived at a familiar gate for Karawatha, and got the bike sorted and soon set off towards the start of this trail. Once I had made it through the first couple I started getting the hang of where I may be looking for the caches and almost all were easy finds.
Total distance on the bike for me was 10.5km and excluding a worker in a bobcat I saw just before arriving here, I did not see another person until almost back at the carpark.

So this is winter in Brisbane - glorious day, too beautiful to be spent inside so geocaching we went.....TFTC!
Finally started do all the Holden Series and enjoyed long and hilly walks and fixed all caches for my geofriend and it is still there . Found all and Enjoyed working out the puzzle. Glad had geofriend helped me that as I m not good at year of models. TFTC
Out with Tdimdad, his junior and Dr_pepi on a cold morning with a mission to clear out the Holden Series (as well as any other caches that were on our way). Due to where we parked we started from the end of the series (#15) and made our way towards the start of it (#1) (with an extra one in the middleish for Dr_pepi).
We were near GZ and we split into 2 groups, Dr_pepi and I took a chance and took one spot while the Tdimdad and his junior took the other even though there was more of a chance it was over there. Looks like someone is using this location as a rubbish bin! Spotted by Tdimdad, good spot as it blends into the rubbish! TFTC.

Out with Tdimdad, his junior and Sezzz on a cold blustery July day to clear out the Holden series (and a couple of others). We started at #15 and made our way towards #1. The majority of the caches were found easily and were in good condition. We made notes of the clues in each on our way through, and formulated an idea of what they meant. Sure enough, it all made sense at the end, and an appropriate looking bunch of numbers was created for the puzzle.
By now Tdimdad was trying to find a likely location without the use of the compass/devices. He did surprisingly well on this one.
Thanks for the series and the wander, dranyer

Sezzz, Dr_Pepi and my junior were out to clear this series. We started from the end (#15) and walked towards the start (#1). Karawatha is a nice place to visit and stroll around and we enjoyed our walk.
This find was made easily and clues for the related puzzle were noted. This one was spotted by myself.
TFTC, Dranyer!

Blacklegend, youngest child, Scotty Neville & I were out for a great day walking in the bush and with all the recent ones here in Karawatha it was our obvious choice.
The weather was threatening but it ended up being perfect for a day out with cloud cover and a slight breeze.
The tracks had been very recently graded so it was a great walk and with the power trail not too far off into the bush we were having fun.
The kids were already having fun seeing who could get the cache first.
GZ was spotted from a distance and the prize was soon in hand.
Thanks Dranyer TFTC SL

I don't usually like to write copy / paste / template logs but will make an exception for cache series / power trails. After I finished my work commitments for the day not too far from here I decided to head over here to find a few caches along these tracks and trails. I really enjoyed my walk in the forest and was grateful that the cache placements were all nice and logical. I wish I had more time to do more of the trail but I didn't really want to be stuck in the forest in the dark. Many thanks for the effort in putting out this series and TFTC, Biggles.
That is menfor the morning. I'll come back in a few days for another run and yo dind the rest
We arrived at the forest with the idea of mainly going for the Qld Oldest cache and the 10th Anniversary cache, but decided to stroll along the trails getting this series. We replaced plastic baggies in 1-8 till we ran out; most were in ok condition, just one needs a pencil sharpening. Thanks for the series, we might return with bikes one day to do the puzzle cache.
Lucky enough to have today to do some serious caching. This series was just asking for my attention.
Contents and cache all in good order.

Out caching for the day with Richmond Lad, StortiFreddo and OutandAbout in Karrawatha Forest. Weather started off pleasant but did warm up as we completed the series. Enjoyed the walking and searching. Thanks dranyer for placing this series here.
We decided to do the Holden Series with Stortifreddo and Out and About. A fine day going through the Karawatha Forest which is nearby to where I live. All caches were found from HS-1 to HS-15 and information obtained from each cache to enable us to complete the Holden Series Cache. A great day was had by all. TFTC dranyer
