Logs
#3991 Staying in Coniston for a few nights. Walked down the street and across the main road arriving at GZ. Found eventually after reading previous logs and like others the photos helped. TFTC
Thanks JSB001 & Jazza242 for this slick cache It's creative caches like these that made me fall in love with Geocaching in the first place? ?
Found after extending my search. A favourite point from me. Thats my last geocache today! Heading back to Orange!
Looking back at previous photos helped immensely. The clue was a bit misleading and had us looking up the wrong tree. TFTC
(2 of 11 today)
I'm after at least 6 finds today to appease the Calendar Caching Gods, but why stop at 6? Decided to head down to the Illawarra for a day of finds, but unfortunately I racked up a large number of DNFs as well. That certainly wasn't the idea! As a result, it was a much longer day than it should have been.
And I suspect about half of the DNFs I just simply missed.
Ah well, that's caching for you.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
What a sad park. One bridge here is damaged/vandalized and is roped off. Then near GZ are signs about contaminated water.
The coords were pointing me one way, but there was nothing there. So started spreading out to a few more logical spots.
Not in the first few I tried, but another location a little further away held the prize.
Added my ink to the log, replaced and headed up to the lookout for my next find.
Coordinates are definitely out here. A quick reading with my iPhone suggests S34 26.504 E150 53.340 is closer.

Found! Way off from given coordinates, however, and the hint doesn't help. Clever hiding spot - my tip is to look INSIDE (or scroll back heaps for a spoiler photo that helped us find it).
Find 374 for the tribe
Out catching some fresh air after work this evening. It was finally time to stop and have a look for this one which I would have driven past hundreds of times. Parked across the road on Tate St and wandered to GZ across some cool little bridges.
The hint led me astray, I felt certain that I understood what was being implied but came up with nothing. Found a more likely clue in some previous logs, and soon found out why I should pull your finger. Cache and log in great condition with plenty of room in the replacement log. SL and replaced as found.
TFTC! A really interesting little spot. Who knew that Wollongong had mangroves and a little wetland?

Ignore the hint or you'll search in wrong spot. Capped it off. Coords out by 10m. Bridged it. Tk ok from south though sign says tk closed because of bridge.
After leaving the missus with her friends at the golf club, I decided to set out on a circuit of Wollongong on foot and pick up a few of the local hides in the allotted 2 hrs I had!
So I’m venturing in to an area I had no idea existed. After picking up Serenity, I made my way over. But hang on, can’t find a crossing, so braved a freestyle crossing of the road! That was fun! Bit of a pong around here ....but made my way in to the wetlands area. Wow, another GPS nightmare......But the hint had me looking no where near where I eventually found, and where I was looking made more sense according to the hint than where I found it, sheer fluke! Interesting hide though.

A sneaky little fun hide, it took us a bit of searching before coming across the hide, thankyou!
Out with mrwhiskers76 today, this cache took a little while to find. The coords are a little funky. Definitely have not seen a cache like this one! Thank you
Thanks! Found accidental and now will be playing! It got a little wet so I moved it slightly to the right
Took a while of wandering around to find this guy. GPS was jumping a fair bit. TFTC
Nearly gave up on this one on my first attempt, then I crossed a little bridge and managed to put my finger on it!
Found this one this morning. Be careful taking kids to the area as there are traps out (to catch rabbits?). Stick to the paths!
Take the aeroguard... loved finding this cute lil track with wootowncrew. Tftc. lol pull my finger
A nice area for a walk or cycle. Very quiet today. In fact, no muggles went by while we were at GZ. Took a while to find as the hint mislead us as well as a photo. Started looking at other locations and suddenly had CIH. Fortunately, without any flatulence. TFTC
Wow, to think this was an old rubbish tip!A nice walk with a nice view at the top. Clever cache!
Thanks.
Thanks.
I was really enjoying this part of my walk. It was dark, no people and only the trains and heavy industry with strong lights surounded me:-)
I was searching for some time, before I extended the search radius. Seems the signal here is not the best...

Found on my way home from work whilst commuting on my bike, i had no odea that this was here until recently. Great hide and our 60th find - TFTC
After finding a cache nearby and making my way back to my car we realised we were in fact close to GZ and decided to claim another smile. After a bit of a search in all the wrong areas, a quick look at recent finds found a photo which was a major spoiler. Love the camo. TFTC
#2487 came here before but couldn't find it where I thought the hint was intended me to go. This time with a bit of intel didn't use the GPSr and a quick find was made.
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache JSB001 and Jazza242. That wasn't what I expected

Took a while and needed clue in comments thread “remember to post when you find it” but excited when we worked it out. Great one
