Saw this one from the dirt track, as well as some wild deer and a stray cat. No dogs other than the cache! Thanks for finding #407
Finally it was time to leave work, Narrabri and cotton fields behind and go for adventures again. This time we packed our belongings in to the car and tent on the roof is going to be our home for the next few weeks.First we visited some friends in Moree and after camping by the river we continued our journey towards Brisbane. A quick stop here also. Thank you for the cache!
Finished working in Narrabri and now happy to travel again! On the way to Brisbane area slowly. TFTC!
Weve come to Stanthorpe for 2 nights in our van to hopefully finish getting enough caches to earn the current souvenirs. We went to a winery for our daughter in law this afternoon when we arrived and then got a few caches on our way back. These were well worth the detour. Thanks wingaap and pajamateam for the placement and maintenance of these caches.
A favourite from us for the effort put into the cache container. We headed out of town today with the Elementary Series and a group of high favourited trads in our sights along with any other caches we might pass by. We weren't disappointed on both fronts. It was a cold day with light winds so looked warmer than it actually was. We were pleased to be in and out of the car so the cold didn't really get to us. There were showers as we returned into town, and then the sun came out brightly. Melbourne weather!!Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache pajamateam.**SKI Pair****
Spotted Spot easily from the road. Great to discover some more Wingaap treasures while out camping at Girraween w CeeDy. Thanks for the creativity & incentive. Just another reason to love visits to Girraween, besides the landscape, the wineries & the chocolate Cache & log in good order
Out for a drive on our last day in the granite belt and the high favourite points bought us here. A pleasant drive and the find didnt disappoint. Thankyou for placing and maintaining. Log signed and replaced as found. All is good with the cache. TFTC
My geo wife head of to find this cache. She loved it . Thanks for your fun cache .AFP from us.
Visiting Stanthorpe for a few days. The winery I wanted to go to isn't open yet and I saw these ones with so many likes so had to come investigate. Love it. Found a travel bug.
Loving this series. A friend came across these earlier today and so we took a small detour to come and see. Worth it! TFTC
Aptly named stumbled on to it as heading to bush bash due to gps having much further on TFTC
My friend and I had been in Stanthorpe for a short break this week; today was our last day. I had wanted to do this little trail for a while so with him driving and me navigating we made short work of them today. The caches did not disappoint and I gave a few favourite points away.Another favourite from me. Loved this little postie pooch. Added a geocoin to continue its journey. Tftc!
Loved this cache... deserves all those favourites. Thank you for the effort these cache containers have taken. Loved them all. FP
We had the opportunity to spend Easter in Stanthorpe so took advantage of the days off to find some caches while we were here. The caches in this series just keep getting better and better. This was such an adorable creation, but I wasn’t impressed when I saw which end I had to open to extract the cache! Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Geo wife spotted this on from the car. The questioned me why I was at the wrong end of the dog. " You didn't even give it a pat. All pups deserves pats"

This weekend, an overnighter at Girraween National Park was planned with the aim to tackle Mount Norman. An early start on Saturday had me attend Warwick parkrun and visit Warwick, Leslie Dam, Stanthorpe, and then Girraweeen to walk to Underground Creek. On Sunday, it was a walk/hike through Girraween's south vicinity visiting Mount Norman, Castle Rock, and Turtle Rock, before venturing across the NSW border, and then heading northwards via Ballandean and Stanthorpe, detouring past the *Elementary* series and *Stan's Apple* series.
Today, I joined Beardman75, Davinells, and wayn0, and we spent the morning with a hike in the southern vicinity of Girraween National Park. A tough expedition to Mount Norman's geocache, and after taking a breather with the group and then saying farewell, I continued north via Castle Rock, The Sphinx, and Turtle Rock, thanking the car shuffle for only making my journey a one-way walk. It was then a southern drive towards Tenterfield for a few geocaches, before proceeding back north targeting geocaches with high Favourite Points, in particular the cluster around Fletcher. It was then a detour towards the *Elementary* series, and lastly, I took a few more stops west of Stanthorpe finding a few more of *Stan's Apple* geoart, and completing the [Stanthorpe Art and History](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/99df815e-d7c7-4bde-8575-b2c5ff71d8cc) Adventure Lab, before fatigue and daylight got the better of me, and I proceeded home.
This geocache had been on my priority/target list given the high Favourite Points (FPs), with it having a gigantic (!!) 158 FPs as of the time of my visit.
Walking through the scrub, it was good to find this larger-sized cache in this series. Another awesome cache, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks wingaap for the cache placement, and pajamateam for its ongoing maintenance.

John4068 told me I can only find one cache today so I’d better pick the best one.
Well, I chose the Gnome House first but then convinced him I just *have to* check out Postie Dog.
So today’s cache total is 7 and 3 yesterday (unless we do more tonight).
Thanks Wingaap for your incredible talent and time you put into geocaching hides.

What an amazing dog!
Awesome !
We are on our way back home. We went to QOGM 2022 in Charleville first, then decided to go on a camping trip in NSW for a change and visited also Canberra.
Now we stay a couple of days in Stanthorpe.

Spent a lovely weekend on the Granite Belt with Sausage3. While our husbands had a nana nap, we spent the afternoon geocaching, mostly avoiding the rain. Great to find a trail of Wingaap caches out here and no one else about. They just seem to get better and better along this road so another fp. Tftc
After a very early start to the day yes 4 am on the second coldest day in the year. Willis007 and I left Brisbane and headed to Stanthorpe and Girraween for a walk and catchup with a few other crazy people. It got to -4 degrees at one point of the journey but that did not stop the enthusiasm of the group.
We finished our big trail walks and started to collect caches around the area. We headed south to a particular challenge cache for Willis007 and then we headed north back towards town, collecting more caches, timing it to finish before our dinner event at 5.30pm.
We bumped into Peppa and Pirate linda and suggested we cache together for a while. We started down this road and found a little trail of wingaap caches. This trail did not let us down and in true fashion a surprise at each cache. I have just giving a bunch of favourite points to this run of caches, well done. It was a great bonus to an already fun day. Thank you and it was good to see these still here after 10 years.
A clear winner in the favourite stakes today.

A great day out in Girraween National Park with chamad, Peppa, Pirate Linda and Beardman75. The main focus was to visit some of the waypoints for the earthcache in the area, and to attend the event in the evening.
Of course, there are always plenty of caches to visit while in the area, we made sure we made the most of the beautiful day.
I must say I was very surprised to see a trail of Wingy caches, they are always so wonderfully thought out and put together.
A quick find at gz, thanks wingaap for bringing me here. I am so glad I had a bunch of fav points up my sleeve - so many fantastic caches. Another FP here.

PirateLinda and I have come down for Beardman75’s Catch-up in Stanthorpe event tonight… Apparently people come here in the middle of winter… for fun… Being our only full day in town, it was all about Girraween…
Having conquered Girraween, or at least some of it, a group of us are making our way back towards Stanthorpe…
Found with PirateLinda, Willis007, and chamad…
It was such a pleasant surprise to find a wingaap trail here… a really great addition to what has already been a wonderful day…
Easily the container of the day… awesome construction, easily another favourite point…

Another find on Peppa and PirateLinda's Brisbane to Stanthorpe Jaunt.
We are rushing through the afternoon to pick up as many caches as possible before we have to be back in town in time for Beardman's Event tonight.
This series had had some wonderful containers but this one takes the cake.
A favourite point from me .

Since I’d already come this far to find the gnome, I might as well keep going on to find the dog. No problem! I will be uploading a spoiler photo, but it’s not really a spoiler photo. TFTC!
Awesome cache container !
Could quite drive the 2WD car all the way because of bad washout at final creek crossing from recent rain, but the last 300m was enjoyable. A FP from me:

Did a maintenance check on the caches I adopted from Wingaap. My original post I said I wanted a pup from this one. Well I am doing better then that, I have now adopted the dog itself.
Everything is good with this highly favoured cache. It would help people to climb a mountain quicker with the number of favourites.
Enjoy this one as so many others have.

Oh so cute! Good boy . Doing a great job guarding his cache and keeping it safe. He deserves a pat and a treato. TFTC, I really love a hide with a difference
They just keep getting better. Love this. Thanks so much. This is an awesome lane of caches.
Found with stairman1. As an owner of 2 geodogs I know how much companionship they offer. They are always by my side. I’ve met Crystal. Sweet girl. Thanks for another fantastic cache
After 10 years on the road, we have finally decided to settle and put some roots down. Warwick is our chosen town. While we wait impatiently for settlement, we sit out time in our caravan, or go shopping for furniture, or go caching! Settlement has been delayed by a few days, so we went for a drive today down to Wallangarra and back. Started picking up caches around Ballandean.

The Brislions was searching for his lost Postie Dog. Someone told there was a postie dog down could it be my lost dog. But of course not my dog. It’s wingaap dog. Of I go, to do more searching for my lost Postie Dog.
Todays haul 29 and the breakdown is 11 traditional, 8 mystery and 2 Adventure Lab with 10 waypoints. Lots of fun finding caches or learning stuff about the local area.
Thank you CO for bringing me to outback Queensland.
Sorry for the generic log

I was blessed enough to spend the weekend away, caching and camping in Texas, Stanthorpe, Girraween and Toowoomba. The weather and company were perfect. Not so the loud and obnoxious teenagers camping next door! That aside, it was a fabulous weekend.
We were finished in Stanthorpe, and heading towards Girraween, and I decided to take a drive down Wingaap lane. Sadly, I don't have enough FPs for Wingaap lane to be truly honoured. This cache embodies everything I love about geocaching - a great location, great company, great creativity, and great implementation. Wingaap, you never cease to amaze me - thank you once again for a great cache. I wish I had some FPs left.

Spent the night in Stanthorpe and took the opportunity to grab some caches. Very much liked the cache design here, all good with this cache. Tftc wingaap
It’s some years since I beadled around the Stanthorpe region and the promise of a temperate climate and low humidity drew me here. Lots of caches, cheese, jam, wineries, truffles, happy hour, awesome scenery, you get the picture Even managed to convert a muggle to our evil ways Lots of fun!
Tried to be careful around the dog’s bum
TFTC Dropping a FAVE point here.

Easy find despite me bush bashing toward it a little. Oops.
I left some Christmas cards in a sealed plastic packet for the next finder.
My geo-dog loved this one too.

Queensland border closures put an end to a Bromance extended hiking adventure in Oxley Rivers National Park in NSW. Still needing a break, a Bromance plus weekend trip to Stanthorpe with Seffnjarah, JeznDez, Swellerfungus and Lady Sim was organised
SeffnJarah, Deznjez and I got an early start today and planned to focus on collecting rare and unloved caches today, After a big day, we checked into our cosy accommodation, got a fire going and then headed back out to collect the caches along this road.
This container was a highlight for me today and gave reason for quite some laughter. Was it inspired by Bitzer the dog from the TV series "Shaun the Sheep"? A favourite point for sure

After a long anticipated 4 day hike in NSW, that was originally planned for this week, had to be abandoned because of the border closures, Crookedpete, JezNDez and I rearranged the week to start with a hike along the Stretcher Track and end with an extended weekend hiking in Giraween.
Leaving Brisbane early Friday morning to avoid any peak hour traffic, our first stop was for coffee and some breakfast in Warwick before heading on towards Stanthorpe via the back roads in search of a number of unloved caches.
After stopping in town for some lunch we headed off again to gather a number of other caches, before checking in to our accommodation. Settled in, we still had some daylight to burn so headed back out for a few other caches nearby including this one.
The last time I had cached down this road was back in October 2013, prior to placement of this cache. Glad to have the opportunity today to return and find this well designed cache container. TFTC

Having grabbed the furthest cache along here first, we began the drive back along this road collecting each of the other caches for me as we went - there would be no wingaap caches left unfound along here today.
It didn’t take long to be greeted by this happy little fellow, with his tail wagging. However I will admit I felt much like a vet but without the qualifications when I needed to extract the logbook!
Thanks for the cache wingaap, this is exactly the sort of fellow I need to find on a slightly smaller scale for a maintenance job I have. If only you would open up a shop with your terrific creations sir wingaap!
And yep you guessed it, another FP!

Gaspode the Wonder Dog is a small terrier-like mongrel dog living in Ankh-Morpork who has the ability to think and speak like a human being. Gaspode is somewhat scheming and avoids interacting with humans outside of his own interests, which he explains as a good survival trait for a stray animal's rough life. He has an extreme dislike of baths and a subsequent unpleasant mix of odors and minor diseases (indeed, according to Gaspode, he suffers from multiple ailments - including licky end, which should only be contractible if one is a pregnant sheep - and is only still alive because the various diseases are too busy fighting each other to kill him). Gaspode can usually be found accompanying the Canting Crew around Ankh-Morpork, where he acts as a thinking-brain dog for Foul Ole Ron.
This one reminded me of K9 on Mt Nebo Rd. Another well crafted container. Thanks for the cache
Making our way north we have now reached the granite belt and there are a lot of interesting and quite spectacular rock formations around. This was a not a difficult cache to find with ilook4geo. It gets a favourite point from us for the well made, appropriate and fun container we found. After doing the signing duties, all was put back into its place before we headed on our way for the day. Thanks go to wingaap for putting this cache into play.
We are now caching in the granite belt with goingplaces2 and enjoying finding some fun and interesting caches. This one was easy to find and soon had our names on the paper. Loved finding this one. TFTC.
