Cute wee reserve - info plaque says the library around the corner is the only public library in North Canterbury that owns its own land, and funds itself with chicken sales. Very Canterbury!
Quick easy find in a area we would never come to unless you were geocaching- TFTC

14 January 2022 10:51. Tftc Hotspud for a quick find (the Muggle I spotted earlier had finished his tea break so I could search unimpeded). An unexpected little spot.
Looooong boring drive to Blenheim. Ohhh I know, I'll do some caches. Nice and easy. Cheers.
We had lots of possible caches to stop for as we headed home. This one was on the correct side of the road to turn off so we did. A quick find in this little reserve.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Quick easy find on our way to Hanmer to replace a log in Bruzas Little Pitt Stop. TFTC
Enjoyed an afternoon cycling around the area. This cache was a quick find. TFTC.
Quick find, lying out in the open with its connecting wire broken.
Re-connected the wire and concealed the cache with some bits of camo.

After work... another day, another geocache.
Having failed to find the Balcairn cemetery cache I still need a cache tonight to convert this dot day and to add to my 140-something day streak of consecutive daily geocache finds.
Fortunately this was an easy find in the dark. TFTC All good here

Mrs Biggles and I were on our way to Christchurch today. We took a slight detour to find a couple of caches around here along the way. Found this one in about the 2nd or 3rd place I looked. TFTC, Biggles.
Found on our return road trip from Papamoa to Dunedin. Stopped at this one as we headed north after visiting friends in Darfield. Nice hide and no problem with the find TFTC.
This one took me longer than it should have...after finding I'd put in the wrong coordinates for 1 of the puzzle caches, I was glad this one was close enough to make up for my mistake!! TFTC, cute little reserve
After caching at Amberley Beach I headed off for Leithfield.
The grass, and doggy poo, had just been mowed.
Cheers for the cache.

The Seagnoid, Toby, Zara and I are on a mission to find the elusive Turtle in Christchurch. We leave Zara in Sefton, while The Seagnoid, Toby and I start exploring between the Kowai and Ashley rivers. The elusive Turtle has been located and Gracies nursery visited, so lets see what else is around here.
Love that seat over there. After we snag and tag this one I go and check out the seat properly. Cheers

Taybeedragon, Zara, Toby and I came down this way as we heard the world turtle was hanging out somewhere near the nursery. It was too, we caught a glimpse of it back there, through the trees. So the mission for this weekend is done. But now that we are here, we carried on exploring the entire area between the Kowai and Ashley rivers.
I was saying to the dragon how I do not like reserve caches at the entrance to reserves, as this one is. The cache should takes us inside, to explore some aspect, such as that archway over yonder. Now that I read the cache page I understand - the reserve was only just being developed when the cache was placed.

Friendly sheep here! This will be a nice park. Good trees. Thanks for the cache. Had never driven the back streets in Leithfield before. #2966

A fairly quick find, just not where we looked first. A few hens wandering around. TFTC
The 3rd and last day of our Easter raid East and we are out collecting some points for the Planetary Pursuit.
Yay! We have made it to Pluto and are official Space Explorers but there is still plenty of time left in the day and there is always more caches to find so we will keep going! A nice easy find not exactly where we first though it would be. Careful of the wire protruding from the post when making the grab. Thanks for placing the cache

#519. Raining when I started a search for this. GPS bounced me about, but when I finally laid hands on it, the wire holding it in place snapped. Replaced as best I could. Tftc Hotspud.
Stayed at the Leithfield Beach Campsite and found this great little cache when heading off North this am.
Thanks for placing

Just picked up our geomutt Truffles from summer camp and decided to stick around the area for a wander. Luckily the man across the street couldn't see us at GZ because as this area is pretty quiet, we were a curiosity for him when we first parked. Logged our find and walked around the reserve a bit before heading on. TFTC.
