Due to council work the seat where cache was located has been removed.

I noticed that this cache has been temporarily disabled for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the *archive listing* link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.

If you plan on repairing this cache, **please log a note to the cache** (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication. On my way to the CO's place and I couldn't resist picking up a couple of her caches It's a tad tricky to be stealthy here at 4.30pm! Sitting and trying to look relaxed I let my fingers do the searching, and eventually found the container. TFTC, joojoo57.

The next morning I had a look around Coolangatta and Point Danger before heading towards Byron Bay.

This was the last find before looking for a ride to Byron Bay. Quick and easy in a usual location.

I was on the opposite side of the world already and could not resist a short hop from New Zealand to Australia. In a week I visited Coolangatta and surroundings, Byron Bay, some other parts of Gold Coast, but most of the time was spent in Brisbane.

#4491. I am visiting Australia and flew over here from New Zealand last week to attend a workshop in Brisbane. Now that the meeting is finished I have three days to sightsee and do some geocaching. After picking up caches in Brisbane I came south to spend two nights at Tweed Heads. Last day of geocaching before flying home. Nice easy start for the day not far from the motel. Signed the log and replaced where found. Thanks for the cache joojoo57.

Note Wellington NZ is hosting the "Wellington Geocaching Event 2018" on 21-22 October 2018. Hope to see some Australian cachers over there and give it a chance to become a Mega.

Thursday 17 August 2017 - a very warm glorious sunny Winter's morning in the high teens setting out from Southport at 6.30am as MuggleDaughter works in Coolingatta today and home again by 1.30pm. Found 7 from 7 caches starting firstly with a trad in Cooly and then found the other 6 in Tweed Heads area. TFTC joojoo57.

Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. Apart from one aspect, the cache and contents were in good condition. The one issue is that the logbook is full and needs immediate replacement. We managed to find a small spot in which to write our name and the date. Thanks joojoo57 for the cache.

I don't normally bother searching for urban nano caches. ( I think nano's are totally contrary to the original Geocaching idea of "hiding a box"). However I wanted to get a cache in Tweed Heads, since it will probably be 4 years before I return to the region.

Actually found it Aug 9th but no Premium Membership back then. Great little find/cache!:-)

On my way southbound today and decided to take a driver reviver by the river here. When I arrived I decided to see if there was a cache nearby. This wasnt too bar so drove the last couple of blocks to GZ.
On arrival i knew instantly where I would need to search so I didn't bother with the GPS. A bit of subtle inspection with my fingers as I reclined and my fingertips soon touched what they extpected.
Thanks for the cache here, i quite like the shade along this stretch of river. So many birds!

A lovely sunny day to visit Kingscliff, Tweed Heads and Coolangatta and wind our way back to Brissy We solved 5 puzzles for this jaunt and four of those were logged today.

I could do with a rest about now as my geo-buddy likes us to keep moving Easy find here! Love the trail along the lovely Tweed River.

Our first find in the geocaching world.

I sat down here just as a muggle was walking past. As I waited for him to pass I emptied all the sand out of my shoes from the morning's caching and he commented on the volume of sand as he walked past! Right the coast was clear so I had a quick rummage and aha there it is.

Thought this would be an easy one to find. Had 8 pairs of eyes but did not find it...

We think it has been muggled!

No time for resting yet. It seems it was time to get up and walk along this section of the path too. Very busy with passing muggles, but passing they were, so the cache was located, retrieved, signed and replaced in between.

We decided to have a caching day with the geomuts today. We'd seen these caches on the map and decided to head down this way. A short walk to GZ and the cache was spied. TFTC.

What a lovely little series this is along the riverfront. We sat here today and enjoyed the warmth of the spring sunshine and before long a cache was in hand. Thanks for placing the caches along here so we could more appreciate the river views from a number of locations. It was really pleasant today. [^][^]

We are having a couple of night at Boyd's Bay caravan park before heading home.
This was an area we had not been to before so it was a very nice scenic drive, geocaching as we went.
