This location is no longer able to sustain a geocache hidden in the 3 ways i have tried, it is now being taken within weeks of being replaced. maybe someone else will have better luck
Sunday with not much in the calendar. Combined with a desire to clear some geocaches off my to-do- list and wanting to drive my new car around some bendy roads a bunch sent me towards Tamborine and associated Mountain. After very much enjoying the drive up (but saddened that the stone pillar halfway up has collapsed), I detoured for another geocache, then parked u near here. This isn't the first time I've found a geocache on this corner. Seems they like to wander off. And seeing this disabled had me wonder if I could just help rather than see another added to the list of "used to be here's". Knowing the CO is slightly distant, I had thrown a suitable replacement in my car.At GZ, it's clear the geocache is gone. I poked around a little, but the shrubs have had a trim of a lifetime and there's not much to hide in. Hm, time to rethink. After some more poking about, I created a little hide and covered it with a rock, and updated the CO. They said very nice things about me and thanked me for the replacement. Word from the wise: right of the dedication plaque.Happy to help, loving being on the mountain and another smiley on the map at 10:50. Thanks for this geocache, KezzBear
Home from our trip away and getting back into caching. An event in Beaudesert and a challenge to qualify for has brought us to the Scenic Rim.Logged with permission from CO.Caching with RoddyC and Imbunda.TFTCache SaintsMadHouse
It was only a fortnight ago that Mrs Woodyrothwell and I were in Mount Tamborine on a mystery picnic with the family. We were very close to this cache but didnt want to annoy the family with a quick we just need to duck over there faux pas. It hurt us because we didnt think we would be back anytime soon.A small family emergency bought us back and we enjoyed our last lunch at a spot so we came straight back to grab todays nutrition at the same place. This was also our chance to grab this cache which had teased us.On our walk to the hide we passed a very tall woman walking the other way and said hello. When we were driving home later in the day my wife yelled out that we were passing the same woman we had met earlier. She looked a lot different to the first time we saw her, with a different change of clothes and had also grown a beard in the mean time. Im thinking she had also grown different genitalia just to fool us or my wife had made a huge mistake. We are still laughing about it. tftc
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - Saints Mad House [^]
Found with Liblet479 after a Celebratory dinner up on the mountain. Muggle friends were keen to find a cache or two, so here we are.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Out for a drive on this nice beautiful, clear day and thought we’d go a little geocaching. Thank you for the Hyde.
Found it! We were having a great time exploring Mount Tambourine. After a short walk to Witches Falls we stopped nearby for refreshments and another cache. A quick find at GZ and I picked up a few left behind coffee cups. Some people really don’t care! Anyway TFTC SL
Quick find. Visiting the area it's really nice! Lovely shops and cafes. Beautiful weather. Tftc!
Caching with rainforest cookie and ratdog 12 for our final hours together. Heading back to our respective towns but as always we've had a lot of fun
I parked up the street and wandered off for the find.
Almost at GZ when I heard a crash in the versinity of the car
Looked up to see a largish stick crashing to the ground right next to it on the road. OMG be careful where you park.
Ratdog had stayed in the car. But way oblivious to the possible danger she was in. She did hear the cars going past crunching over the stick though
Cache was easily found.

Stopped at the Info center across the road while here I ran over the road and grabbed this cache.
A nice understated memorial to visit. The cache took a bit of a search as we originally could only find the tether. After seeing that, we hunted on the ground and soon after saw the cache. After signing, we replaced it in the tether. Thanks SaintsMadHouse
My geodog Scruffy wanted to look for some caches so I thought "why not?"
Not quite how the clue says it is hiding, but still easy to find.
All Good .. TFTC ..

After a beautiful Anzac Day Service, where my 10 yo grandie participated, we headed up the mountain for an icecream and a cache or two. It was her decision. Race you to the cache. So we decided to see how we went at the end of the day.
I cheated. I had read the cache description. So, while Grandie circled, I pounced. Quick find for Grandma
Score: Dunmowin
1, Grandie 0
Thanks SaintsMadHOuse for a fitting cache today
You have earned our fave point of the day

Quick find this time. Can't figure out why I didn't see it in exactly the same spot last time I was here. Perhaps I was suffering cache blindness that day. TFTC
Found it with help from the previous entry. No longer hanging but below the cable tie.
A beautiful memorial indeed. I think I have always missed seeing this whilst looking at the road and sweeping around the bend. The cache was just sitting there in the middle of the flower bed, so we put it back where we think it was meant to go. If it is meant to be hanging it isn't any longer. 2nd find for Mrs EMC and chikilittler. TFTC.
Elina_maree and I had organised to find some caches after our church camp and GeoM was keen to tag along. This was our first find and we all managed to find it without giving it away to the others, though elina_maree was the first to spot the well camouflaged hide. TFTC!
We circled this until Rosemary gave away her secrets which we gratefully accepted without hesitation. Tftc
Aha… quick easy find today.
Very happy to find this cache today after our previous dnf here.
All is good.
Thank you.

The hedge is right there. I don’t know what a previous finder was referring to but as per the hint, the hedge is above the dedication plaque, I replaced the logsheet.
It looks like this area has had some maintenance done and the hedge is no longer there.
Today, it was an early start with an airport drop-off, and then a long drive to Binna Burra for a planned hike. We had decided on Dave's Circuit that detoured past Surprise Rock and Molongolee Cave, and [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I completed the approximate 12 km hike in 4.5 hr. We decided to drive home via Mount Tamborine, subsequently taking a wander along Gallery Walk, before finding a few geocaches on our way home.
A nice memorial site, and it wasn't long until we found the nicely concealed geocache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks SaintsMadHouse for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

My turn to shout Found It ….
Parked nearby at the visitor information centre and made a quick dash to GZ. Although quickly found … had to send potatochips101 back to the geomobile because I forget the pen ….
Anyway once pen in hand quickly signed and returned to hiding spot.
Glad to get back in the car … and escape from the light rain and cool breeze.

Second find of today - still cold, slightly more wet.
We parked across the road from gz as we needed to make a pit stop into the tourist information centre. After acquiring the goods we had sought out, we made our way across the road, and up the hill.
Cache was quickly located.
But alas, frannymfrog had left the pen in the car. Right. I’ll get the pen, you open the cache.
Pen acquired, I made my way back.
“We need tweezers.”
“No we don’t.”
With the cache opened, and the log book in hand (no tweezers needed), we signed the cache.

One of 27 found today. I was on a maintenance run with SaintsMadHouse as they had a few to check up on. Happy to help and make sure they could be found and see what needed to be checked.
Did not find the rock that seems to keep disappearing but did find the cache that was there. Log was replaced and ziptied.

This was a tricky little find, camouflaged perfectly into the hedges until it just jumped out at me.
Quick detour after dinner to pick this one up on the way back to accommodation. Found with Sarahe28 and Gorjess516. TFTC
Had to log a cache on international geocaching day!!! Found this one on a friend's birthday after an afternoon of wineries and Japanese!!!
Found with gorjess516, rach_jean21 and Casey!

Easy to find thanks to hints, easier to unscrew than try to remove whole thing. TFTC!!
Visiting Tamborine Mountain for a few days and needed to stop at the local supermarket so I made the most of the stop to walk and find this cache. Hint made it an easy find.

Very cute, hint is very specific so was found easily. Log too damp to sign. TFTC
Great location... treated respectfully. Quick park and grab. Bring your ink and tweezers. TFTC!
A rare sunny day, so time to make the most of it and head up the hill. Mrs Gunnie and I spent the morning wandering around the botanic gardens, up and down gallery walk as you do, did the loop track at Curtis Falls, then headed to Clancy's for lunch. While enjoying the rest and an ale, I checked the map and noticed this unfound cache still shining green. Hmm, that needs to be sorted.
Lunch done, I strolled over with Mrs Gunnie and we both got stuck into the Ozzie Ostrich pose, while trying to locate the container. The little blighter was not playing nice and after 5 or so minutes, still nothing in hand.
As I was about to grab my phone and check previous logs, I spotted the cache resting in the leaf litter at GZ, which clearly explained why we did not find it where we expected it to be. Out with the log, I added my name and replaced in what seemed a logical spot. I hope it stays in place for the next finder. The retention 'arms' are not overly strong and break in a heartbeat.
Cheers SaintsMadHouse.

That was an amazing, tricky and clever (but oh so cute) find. Beautiful and memorable in so many ways. Was not able to sign something so small
Quick park and grab before we leave town the Cedar Falls for some take away lunch. TFTC
