This had a maintenance request a while ago. There has been no response from the owner. Time to go?
You might want to check if your cache has been tidied up by the council or muggled. Lots of DNF, if it's there I'll be back.
We ride with the bicycles through the suburb and come here along. This cache we can not find. Sorry!!!
Thank you for showing Moorhelmi

Couldn't find it. I looked in the places suggested, but I don't think it's here anymore. ??
Second try today - Unsuccessful again. Gave it a good shake. Had regard to the picture and hints in the logs. Stuck my gloved fingers and peered in every likely orifice. Nothing. As much as I have been stumped by tiny nanos on large metal structures before, I think this might be gone. Will wait for a find here or a fix.
Today is our last day together before C. is flying back to the Netherlands after a visit of nearly 2 weeks.
It was lovely weather so we left the apartment to search some geocaches.
We took the train from Wynyard to Oatley and wanted to walk to Come and take the train back from there.
This was the 5th cache out of 8 we found today.
we were lucky no muggles around so we could start our search when we arrived at gz.
After a few minutes we were able to add our team name to the logbook.
Thanks for the cache.

Certainly was a bit smelly, but CIH another find just before we have a break for some dinner, then back out to grab some more.
Well this was a quick but smelly find and was the last day of my daily six month streak. Gotta be happy with that.

30/6/16. 3:40 PM. Cache #3979.
5th of 8 finds - Illawong, Como West & Como
Came here after "Bug Powder Dust". I'd seen a few DNFs on this one, but on refreshing it on my app, saw that a few more people have been finding this in recent days. This was probably not the best time to be here, right after school pick-up, and plenty of muggles were walking past on both sides of the road.
I picked the right moments to get into a a few positions to look, but saw nothing in what I thought were the likely places. I re-read some logs and considered where a torch might have been needed and where the stronger smells might be coming from. Then I saw exactly where I needed to search and got a quick find. Signed, replaced and then headed off to "Grounds For Pleasure". TFTC.

Finally I found it! Third time lucky I have looked in there 20 times but I had a torch this time! Awesome cache and now missa25 and I have found it I can sleep at night!
A few muggles around but I still managed 20 mins of looking but I still didn't find it! I will be back! #jeanogeofail
Hated to end a great day of geocaching on a downer note, but we searched high and low for this one, and just finally threw in the towel. I feel like we felt every ledge, every lock, every corner...is it still there?
We have looked long and hard for this, but we could not find it. I see it was found numerous times in August and then September but no logs since then. I wonder if it is still around.
Wow this was hard! Felt like I searched every corner until I had another look at an object I had already examined. Not easily seen at every angle! Glad to be able to tick this one off.
#2074 (8 of 10 today) (Streak day 90)
A day down south visiting friends in The Shire, so left early and looked to pick up a few caches on the way there.
Found 6 (with a few DNFs on the way there), and another 4 on the way home afterwards.

Strange how sometimes you can't find a cache in the daylight, but at night come up with the goods.
That's how it was here tonight. No muggles to be seen (making the search easier) so pointed the geotorch in a few logical spots - all of which I'm sure I checked last time - including the spot I found it tonight.
Completed signing duties back at The Hademobile and replaced.
I'm pretty sure the smell here is the gas main - could hear hissing during parts of the search.

Found it eventually. About to give up thinking it was really low then tried another approach. A quick feel around and Gotcha! TFTC. 9:30 am. Oh that smell!!
Felt a bit dodgy doing this one but got lucky and we were on our way. Cheers,

We searched for about 20 mins. To passers-by, I must of looked like some sort of fitness nutjob. Fancy doing push-ups on top of a sewage pumping station Lol. I did push-ups at every angle for nil result.

Found my janine with me going find for cahe we have found it.. she love about geocaching she be happy with me [Time to Find: 5 min]
After a short while without success, it felt kinda degrading scraping around trying to find it so we gave up. I guess we'll keep an eye on it.
Gotcha! Deserted by geodad & x2 Geokids, geomum & GeoHame seized moment to run across Como bridge & oval to arrive at the obvious spot. Very small, but very eAsy with clues. No pen, so will have to return to sign log.
Thanks
Thanks
While GeoDirk is having his lecture at the Sutherland Astronomical Centre, HanorahTLG and I went for a walk down the hill. That walking path towards Como station has some great places to put stuff!
While we walked we were constantly reminded about the upcoming storm by the low thunders in the distance, but I think that we will keep it dry tonight! (He said optimistically).
After not finding the nano at the two obvious places we looked at the third place and thanks to the light on the phone we were able to sign and replace.
And then we had to climb the hill back up... Huff and puff

Sure is a lot of places to hide. My suggestion get down low, a torch may be helpful, trust your gpsr and remember its a nano. Thanks. TNSLLN

Third and last DNF of the day.
Checked what I thought was everywhere a cache could be at GZ, but nothing spotted, even using the Geotorch.
Undoubtedly there was one more place.

Spent a good half an hour searching for this one, but nothing came up. Oddly enough, the smell didn't bother me that much... bit gross, but oh well. Though I did officially leave when I heard the distinct sound of someone flushing their toilet from the bowels underneath where I was standing.
I'll come back and find another day.
I'll come back and find another day.
Given that this place gets used quite a bit there were only a few places safe enough to hide a small cache, and it was found in one of them. Thanks for the hide, but a shame about the location.
I searched high, I searched low. Eventually I searched again and spotted the cache- plenty of hiding spots! TFTC!

Reached GZ and I too too looked at all the normal spaces with no joy, as I was expecting something bigger..
So I went back and had a close look.. And yep there it was.. TFTC

I spent some time searching all the obvious places to no avail then read some of the previous logs which helped somewhat. As a matter of interest, the facility is actually a sewage pumping station, so best to hold you breath when searching. TFTC.
Oh, the smell , taking far too long to find, oh well a DNF for us ................ took a call and returned for a another look ........yep "pushed in a bit too far"!
TFTC TheCashCows and to wazza9 & Nana Nel for suggesting to do a few local caches.

Up from Canberra visiting family in the good 'ol Shire. Happy Australia Day!
Swung by this one on a morning mini mission around Como to nab a few caches with the geobro, goldfinger777
Nope no joy here. Spent a fair amount of time searching but had to move on as we were on a time limit. I'll give this one another go when I'm up.
Thanks anyway, TheCashCows

TFTC,
Australia Day, remembering the day British settlement commenced in Australia on the 26th January 1788.
We are a young country in European terms but in respect to Geological and Aboriginal culture, depending on which invasion you are referring to, also a very old country.
I used the day to get out and be involved in a young activity and returned to an area I walked our dog regularly.
Checked out all the suspect locations and decided to mark it as a DNF. Read the logs and as much as I don't like doing it, decided to PAF who didn't answer. Drove away and the PAF called back to confirm we had the correct idea. So back we went to sniff out the container. Credit goes to odlids Deb for placing her hand on it.
Clearing out my 5Km radius again. Visited a group of trackables.

Arrived with Geokid3 and waited for about 15 min, but toooo many muggles.
Dog walkers, kids, people heading to Como hotel.
Abandoned and decided to come back in a less busy time...

Nice one Cashcows. Found with nicksmyname.
Took a bit of looking but eventually found it.
I might have accidently pushed it in a bit far so for the next finder, have a harder look.

Katsumar and I set out on the bike's to find a rash of new caches in the area. With the hint, this turned up fairly quickly. Thanks TheCashCows for all the new caches. It's so nice to be able to walk / ride to caches.
FTF @ 2:00 pm. This one is just about a park-and-grab. Spent a few moments looking about as there are a number of possibilities. Ah there it is. Signed the log and returned it to its place. I suspect this could be a treatment plant of a different kind judging by the odor emanating. TFTC TheCashCows.
