no luck for us today. fair bit of rubbish around and lots of ants in the obvious place. next time
I found this cache today in company of Pprass on our North East of Warragul Tour. Driving to another access point to the lake, we stopped here for a parroty find. Thanks from D B-A
Found at 2:44 PM GAFF5 in the company of Rabbitto.Never been to this town before. Must have a reasonable population judging by the school and the sporting facilities! Thanks to tmether
The plan for today was to go Hounding at Mt Baw Baw. But when I was almost there, I discovered that the road is closed, and I would have to detour to Moe and take the South Face. As such, I thought I'd start taking that route and see what geocaches caught my eye. The walk around sweet water creek was nice, but the highlight was Blue Rock Lake. This walk was the start of the day and turned out to be 1 of the highlights. Certainly a lovely area and not too many people here between 8 and 9 in the morning. The fairy garden was nice and entertaining while walking to this GZ. Had to wait for the workmen to finish off their chat and head to their first work site of the day, before I could move in to search. They must have thought I was a slow reader, taking 5 minutes to read the nearby sign. Found right on 9am.Thanks for the cache, tmether.Hunter
Replaced bagDerek had been looking at this area for some time and invited me to join him. Fabulous afternoon exploring Willow Grove and Blue Rock Dam. Most easily found. Thanks for luring us here tmether.
Great day for a ride around after work. This one was a nice quick find. TFTC
Found it on a nice peaceful night for a walk and the kids had fun finding it with a torch
We pick a great day to visit the area. The sun was out and not to many people area.Spotted what I was thinking was something I didn't wont to touch (woof woof). It was the cache, with also some ants around it. Out caching with D@geoThank you for the hide tmether
First time I have visited the Blue Rock Lake - what a lovely location with quite a number making the most of the location on a find Sunday. A quick and easy find with gwd.aussie while we enjoyed the stroll around the Blue Rock Lake Loop. Thanks tmether
Passing by today on our way home after a picnic at Tara-Bulga NP to gather clues for another cache. Love the views along the road to get to this cache. Thanks tmether for bringing us here. We must return to collect others in the area.
Continuing our loop around the lake brought us here, interesting school was back the day before ANZAC day so a few people out and about! TFTC
As referenced in the description…. Very quick park and grab.
TFTC a nice little break driving home after a great caching weekend at Mt Baw Baw.

Getting some more finds in this LGA. quick find. replaced log sheet
Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event. Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.

Out on a Christmas break with sir_spectre, exploring southern Victoria grabbing lots of smilies, finding caches in LGA's and of course signing a few more challenges.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

Our day of caching started at the beautiful Blue Lake at Willow Grove. We parked at the recreation reserve and had a lovely anti clockwise stroll collecting the eight caches as we went. We spent some time at the Blue Lake Picnic Area/Boat Ramp searching unsuccessfully for the mystery cache before completing the circuit. All caches were reasonably easy finds with a few resulting in some minor scratches. Some logs were a bit wet but easily dried. Nice hides TFTC.

Really enjoyed this area while showing a muggle friend what caching is all about.
The nice walk around the lake, it was a beautiful day.
A nice quick find here and muggle got to see another example of a cache container.
Signed and replaced.
Thanks

Looks like I saved the best one to last..I was like a child in her own fairy garden...CO if you know the artist personally can you thank them. The journey to this last cache brought a huge smile to my face, and was an awesome finish to a pleasant walk.
Woo Hoo! Out of lockdown. A great day for a drive in the country.
A trip out to Blue Rock Dam and a few caches along the way with +Wife at the wheel, me navigating and the GeoMutts in the back seat.
After finding the nearby old mystery cache we set about making a start on the Blue Rock Lake Loop.
One last find before we take the dogs for a swim over near the dam wall.

In the area on a job .. took the opportunity to collect some nearby caches .. this one was a nice easy find.. except for muggle walkers ..thanks for placing and maintaining the cache
Lovely day for a cache or 10. The walk coming to this was so cute with all the fairy huts. Tftc
Today was a perfect day to get out of the house and enjoy a walk around this loop track. We have previously walked along the lake track but today completed the circuit. This was an enjoyable cache along the way. Thanks for the cache.
I love finding a new walking trail! This cache was found quickly. Thank you!
Decided to come for a walk today since the weather was nice. I thought it was going to be raining, so was planning to stay home. Haven’t been caching since before Covid. I finally thought it was time to re-engage.
I have loved walking along this path so far!! Did not expect all of the little homes I’ve come across during this little walk. Hopefully there will be more to come it just adds that little extra enjoyment when you can engage with little things along the trail.

Beautiful day for a walk with possum64 and chiko24. Kids got to revisit their old school TFTC
A straight forward find, but glad we keep wet wipes in the car. They came in handy after we retrieved and replaced this one.
A lovely day after the past few miserable, wet, windy and earthquaky days, so we decided to team up again with Rebel Acts again and do a few local caches we hadn’t got to. Many of the logs are signed RASP because the alliance is back in action!

I grabbed this one whilst completing the Blue Rock Lake Series this morning with Mummy Short Legs and co. She had already logged this one years before, leaving me and my eldest geokid to search (my youngest is yet to catch the caching bug!). The eldest quickly located the cache, and even remembered to wait whilst a jogger/muggle passed by. TFTC tmether!
I’m sure I’ve done the earlier version of this, but it was great to get another cache here today and create another yellow smiley face. We found a gorgeous, tiny skink as cache guardian, which added to our joy of finding the cache.

Find 3 of 3 for the day and #2247 in total.
Found by Echo! (Echo 2 - Spice 1)
Nice area, shame we had to rush it for a quick find before there were school kids everywhere.
(“\(0o0)/“) Thanks tmether for the caching fun!

Out for a walk around the lake with family on a beautiful sunny day. A fantastic asset for the area.
After a fairly disappointing day caching it was nice to find one and sign the log. Tftc
Found it pretty quickly. The log had a hole in it and the pencil was missing though. Good sport, nice and quick and great views on the walk.
Thanks!
Thanks!
A nice quick find on a Sunday out with family. The parrot paintings are really cute. Tftc
Nice easy grab on a lovely sunny day in the country. 3 more to reach our target for today and the shadows are getting longer. Tftc
Despite Melbourne's very wet weather forecast we headed out with Wetjala and Mrs Biggles for a day of caching. This was the seventh for the day and again as Wetjala and Mrs Biggles had found this one before they left us to it. Mrs Pooky made a quick easy find. TFTC TNLN.
1st cache for a long time, visiting the lake and thought, ‘lets find a cache’. Thanks folks.
Day 2 on our caching mini break. A beautiful sunny day. Taking this very windy road back down from BawBaw. Getting to see all the lovely locales along the way. Tftc
Out & about on a rather dull day with my friend. We walked & grabbed this cache then continued along the trail until we reached the corner & back.

Easy little cache but it shows a rather good 3.5 km walk. The dog and I will be back for that one. TFTC
A new road for me on my way home from Walhala and a quick stop to find this cache. Thanks Tmether
