This cache has been muggled, again. I think I will leave the space for others to use.
My lucky day! Kinda. Read the hint on approach at about the 12m mark then spotted something that didn’t quite look right and wound up being the cache. Took forever to get signing duties done as the log had been shoved in as far as it possibly could and would not budge. I had a long pen and was able to sign it without removing it but the next finder may wish to bring tweezers to assist in removing it from the cache. Glad I chose one that was accessible by foot!
I had 30 minutes before the event to find this cache. Little did I know that some early birds were watching me from the other side of the river! It took 5 minutes to extract the log. Cache replaced as found. Nice little hide, that.
After attending Brew's New Year event frazeydaze and I wandered over the bridge to find this cache. Loved the sneaky hide. TFTC
I made a brief escape from the event across the river to look for this cache. I could see those already gathered at the event watching me. A quick search and I spotted the cache camo on the ground - must be very close. Yep, grabbed the cache, SL and replaced with the camo as intended.
I walked back to the event where they were unsure if I'd found it.
Now that's good news - I must be very stealthy at cache searching, finding and replacing if a group of experienced cachers didn't know if I'd made a successful find.

Out today on the kayaks looking to pick up a couple of caches on the wonny, I arrived at gz and done a bit of climbing with no luck, after looking back at the cache page I managed to find a good spot to search and came up with the goods, tftc
We only found one of the two caches today and even that was a close one. Our phone GPSes weren't much help. Mine even less, when it ran out of battery
But we persevered... terrain 1... hmmm. That seemed more useful information than the GPS anyway.
After some more wandering over the same spot a few times, a closer look at a certain feature lead to a sneaky find!
Woo!!
Very clever
Thanks for the cache!

Cool cache! Along with a great diversity of birdlife: currawongs, a channel-billed cuckoo, kookaburras and cockatoos. The GPS kept bouncing between 2 places but eventually the camo was spotted followed by CIH. TFTC!
We probably spent the longest time on finding this one out of all the caches. The gps pointed us to a few metres away, so we were searching the wrong spot for a while. Luckily we decided to follow the hint and the cache revealed itself to Anominous Sign quickly after. Very nice camo! Although pervious finder mentioned 2 caches, we only managed to get one. TFTC!
There's two caches here both with test tube containers and both with GC logs within 5m of each other. The coordinates and clue apply to both caches! Tftc, happy hunting.
Find two of two while out on a family outing exploring the Woronora area.
After walking across the bridge we headed down to the riverside to sit and enjoy a snack. Refuelled we headed over to search for this one. Given the difficulty, I didn't hold much hope of finding this one first go so you can imagine my great surprise when I found the cache in the first place I checked! Yay! However the search was made easier as the very subtle camo was further camoed by something geocachers find very suspicious. On inspecting the cache I can see why the additional camo was used as the attachment mechanism has become visible, perhaps a piece of the intended camo has dettached? I extracted the log and signed before returning as found. The log is dry with plenty of room.
Thanks for the sneaky well constructed hide and great location deemacvee. A new D/T combo for me.

Really annoyed that I bought my boat. And my wife bought her wheelchair. She had to stay on the boat because forgot her positive attitude
Luck was on my side today. No muggles around to worry about. Headed to what seemed to be the most likely cache guardian and, due to the direction I approached, the cache was right there in front of me in the first potential hiding place I spotted.

We came down to do a couple of caches in the area and then spotted this on on the way so did what cachers do and stop and detour. From a distance we thought we knew what would be GZ but as we got closer the GPSr did not agree and wanted us elsewhere so look at were the needle pointed things didn't line up so a quick read of some logs and the cache page to realise a GPSr black hole so went back to our first location and as luck would have it put our hand on it first good. Very nice hide so have a favourite point. We added our name and re hid. TFTC
School holidays and time to get the Geokids some fresh air. Believe the terrain rating, and not the rock-climbing-obsessed 7 year old!! A top notch hide, was on the right track but in the wrong hidey-hole for a bit here! My favourite camo hide so far!! TFTC, Deemacvee.
Clever hide indeed. Advice certainly helped with the gps being a little twitchy. TFTC!
#115 This has to be one the most creative hides I have come across, once again what comes first? The hide then the cache or the cache then the hide? Did what the CO asked and found in seconds, happens some times and never understand why I can nail some 3+'s and yet there is a 1 in the cycleway series I haven't found yet. TFTC deemacvee
Our last cache for day and it’s a ripper !
A lesson learnt here......trust the GPS and trust the terrain rating
A really sneaky hide, with amazing camo

3/6/17. 7:35 AM. Cache #5060.
1st of 3 today - Woronora & Sutherland.
I set off early hoping to get a few down in the Shire, but it was slow going and I had to settle for three.
I started at this one, hoping to redeem my DNF from April. I began by repeating what I had done before and looking in many of the same places. I needed my phone torch as the light wasn't so good yet in all the nooks and crannies. A muggle walked past, walking her dogs, and thought I must have been looking for drugs (as she offered to sell some - no thanks!).
I checked some past logs and had a hunch I might have been looking too high, so tried elsewhere. Still took me a while, but I finally got it. Glad to finally have a smiley here - now only 2 Sutherland Shire caches in my home 30km ("Upper Middle Bogan" and "Pure Evil #4"; both need a kayak). I headed on to my next target, "As-tu vu le ramoneur?". TFTC.

1 DNF (after 2 finds) - Woronora.
Thanks to the CO for putting this one back in action. Unfortunately, the 3.5 star difficulty got the better of me and I was unsuccessful. This was after finally getting a smiley at "Toxic Butt Syndrome" and then a successful assault on "No Ifs or Butts", so I had probably used up all of my good luck on those. Time to read through old logs to see if I can glean any nuggets for a return visit.....

27/11/2016 Did Not Find with pk1965 #DNFpride
I noticed a new cache had been published down south and pk1965 was keen to have a crack at it, so he picked me up on the way through. We arrived at 'Tie Me Kangaroo (Point), Sport', only to spot a small gathering of familiar cachers chatting on the roadside. It was The Hancock Clan, wazza9 and Nanna Nel! We felt as though our chances for a First To Find were lost at that point, and we were right, but we stayed for a quick chat before venturing into the pocket of bushland for a search for the cache. With the heavy foliage overhead, the GPSr was pointing us about 10m away from the eventual hiding spot for the cache, but we soon had the Cache In Hand. Next it was on to 'Shag On A Rock' for an easier find but we struggled with 'Wonnie Walk', and had to concede with a Did Not Find to finish the afternoon. Thanks For The Caches to the respective Cache Owners.

Geohubster went to work forgetting his trade tools so the geokids and I ventured out to help him on this glorious public holiday. This cache was only a few metres away so after dropping his supplies off we headed out for a stroll and cache. The terrain rating made this an easy find and the kids are enjoying some space to run and explore. TFTC
A nice day to be out on the "Wonnie" in the kayak. After a paddle I went in search of a few local caches, this being the first. My first impression was that the terrain rating was way off but, as it turned out this was not the case. After a fruitless 20 minutes searching in all the wrong places I was about to call it a DNF but decided to re-read some previous logs and had one last crack and this time I soon had the CIH. I did the paperwork and then headed over the river to reward myself with a wonnie burger and was not disappointed. TFTC.
Ready to roll again. Extra camo and moved very slightly. Hope that fools the river rats.
Seems to have been muggled by some local river rats. I will replace with enhanced camo shortly.
Came by here a couple of weeks ago and had a bit of a look, but couldn't make a find. Knowing the CO's MO we didn't feel that a DNF was in order just yet.
Encouraged 'pipersand' to join us for another search this morning. Approaching GZ we were discussing a prominent tree and another possibility when 'pipersand' exclaimed found it! What the!!!!

The odlids and I were keen and hopeful that it was worth another try with a fresh set of eyes to log a find on this elusive cache. Without giving anything away it is indeed a good hide and onwards we went to put some others to the test. Tftc
A few of us had a good look for this one today, (separately), but nothing was turned up.
We were headed to the river for some kayak caches, but Canary wanted to look for this one first. Bikerbuddy & I, not knowing the area well enough to find parking close by, parked behind the burger shop & walked back over the bridge. Canary had got there first & was already looking. Lots of looking was done, no cache was found
Canary checked with a previous finder. His description matched the spot we thought was most likely. So we gave up and headed to our launch spot.

We went up the slope and checked the prominent trees as that's where the GPS wanted us.
Then it settled on a spot more suited to the terrain and a gnarly spot!
But despite a Phone-a-Friend confirming the tree we couldn't spot it.
Maybe it could do with a check since you live nearby?

Checked this one today. Amazing the way the GPSr moves the closer you get. Here is a tip, line up from 15m out. Go there. Otherwise you might end up in circles. The terrain does strange things to the GPS in that place.
Having just eaten a famous Wonnie burger and having had a relaxing rest by the river, I took the short walk over the bridge with Lady Altaire. GPS was quite inaccurate but the hint is accurate. Not long after hunting the cache was extracted. It's a lot smaller than I thought it would be. The skink attached to it and clinging on for dear life, gave me a fright then a giggle.
After a massive hint (Re Periscope) this was a quick find.
A lovely little walk here on a beaut day.
Thanks deemacvee.

This one is tricky bur rest assured it's there. Coordinates seem to vary in that little nook beside the bridge with trees and hills round. Some of the best have had trouble with this one. Keep trying.
2nd try using photo, no find. Tried every tree on the flat area with no success. Coordinates keep placing me on the slope, so they are incorrect. And the useless clue that could mean anything. Time to call in for further assistance as we only visit Sydney twice a year and this is a nice picnic spot.

We were in the area doing a bit of walk and nabbed this one as we passed by. Nice park here.
Another great cache along the Wonnie. Like some earlier loggers, I was looking at the wrong prominent tree. Take good note of the hint, step back and you will spot it. Love the cache and hide. Look out for muggles doing the Wonnie Walk! How low can you go? TFTC. #19. Third for the day.
After an hour of looking in the park and the cliffs next to it I gave up, this is my first geocache so maybe I just don't know what I'm doing any hints would be appreciated since I will be coming back for it
Maybe over thinking it with comments of terrain and coordinates. Geokids looked high and low but nothing

Well, back in the Shire again for an evening with friends, so got here early for some caching.
After the painfully long DNF on the CO's Dead End, I was looking for a quick and easy find.
Thankfully this was it.
While the iPhone was pointing me in one spot, my cache senses, along with the cache listing was pointing me elsewhere. After summing up the unlikely I went for the logical, and spotted the cache as I approached.
CIH.
Completed signing duties and replaced. Nice placement.
After getting this, the storm was a lot closer, but I hoped I had time to grab the first waypoint for the nearby Confound the Language - my second major target of the afternoon.

Snuck in this one on the way home- not a paddle today, drive and a very short walk to GZ where cache was located quickly. TFTC!
Just read Rainbow Spirit's log & realised my mistake! My coords put me by a very prominent tree but that would have made the terrain rating too high. I should have checked the cache page properly! I'll be back...
It pays to read the description on this one. I didn't and wasted too much time looking in spots that were higher than the stated terrain rating...

Passing by to join local friends for dinner and decided to grab this cache on the way.
Parked in the entrance to the Reserve and walked back from the bridge. Once we found the cache (not hard, you can see it from any distance), the GPS showed we were up to 8M from GZ at S34 01.283 E151 03.024. However given that we often find caches up to 11M from where this GPS indicates they should be, there was no problem with the coordinates. Maybe that is why I have so many problems when others find them all so easily.
