Logs
Day 3 of our 4 day anniversary road trip to Maryborough and out West. Lots of adventure to be had with my love SCAHPA. Log signed as CS & SC to save time and room - Trademark skeleton animals sticker left in cache - TFTC, effort time and maintenance
Found thanks to coordinates from a previous log. S26 13.850 E151 55.708TFTC Found with my sweetheart ChasingShadows43. Signed as CS+SC
Like everyone else we were a bit confused when we were directed into some long grass with a barbed wire fence. If you are into BDSM that might sound like a good thing but we were here for the plastic.Thankfully the most recent log had some coordinates that seemed more palatable. We drove into the dairy museum car park that was probably as busy as any museum. We were the only ones there so had a chance to fiddle with the cows. tftc
Found at 2:50 PM GAFF?Co-ords where the cache is located: S26 13.850 E151 55.708After checking the posted co-ords we realised something was very wrong and so we delved deeper into the logs, description and hint and arrived at a location that fitted all the signs - but as Burdons5 discovered - there was nothing there. So we replaced it with a small plastic pill container that needs to be jammed in with a stick to stop it from rolling out. Thanks to GeckoSpit
Travelling home with Bennyboy3677 and PeytieCakes stopping for a few caches along the way, this was one of them, thanks for the fun
This one had us beat for a while this morning. Finally found it on the ground and replaced it in the correct place. We will visit the dairy museum soon.
Co-ords are way out. See Dairy and Heritage Museum shed. Cache had blown into the ground, so reinstalled it. Thanks.
Road trip! Attending an event out this way this morning, geopup and I caught up with chamad and a turmoil in Gympie and joined forces to collect some caches. We arrived here and found some fellow event attendees here, who had just found the cache. We knew not to look at the posted co-ords, but found the cache a little further afield. Thanks GeckoSpit for the cache.
Decided to take a day trip to the South Burnett Region to collect a few caches along the way and a special visit to a place I had never been through before. After the event at Cherbourg I wandered through various parts of the region collecting caches that have been placed over the years. This one was way out, don't bother chasing your arrow here, just look for the milk shed.
Unfortunately, our visit was outside opening hours so we must come back another day. It looks an interesting place to visit. The cache was quickly found using a previous finders coordinates. The hint helped too. Skinny fingers easily retrieved the cache. All is good here.Thank you.
A saturday morning drive to a special event in a rare LGA, awesome cant miss this one. I had triple turmoil (naya) with me and we meet up with Willis007 in Gympie, before heading to this event. A good size turnout and only time enough to catch up with a few of the teams there. It was then off to hopefully grab a few caches northwards as time was pressing on us today. We had no real plans just to get a couple in Gandah and a few as we passed by. As always it was a day filled with laughs and jokes. We signed the log on this one and replaced all as found. Thanks for placing this one here. Well this one was in a very different place as to where the coordinates had us. It was only because there were other teams here that we would have not grabbed it. HINT: Across the road and look for the obvious structure.
After the Event, headed back to town, and this was the first cache tackled. The hint lead us to the prize. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks GeckoSpit. All good with this cache.
All good things must come to an end and our trip tot Cape York is now over and we are slowly heading south predominantly aiming at lab caches, virtuals and earth caches as these are normally muggle free. After doing the adventure lab in town we came out to try our luck here. We searched for about 10 minutes where others have been before us but came up empty-handed. We decoded the clue which didn't help in the slightest as we could see nothing that matched that anywhere near where we were. We then read a few logs and happily a previous finder has updated the coordinates and using them the cache was a nice quick find,. if it wasn't for that it would have been a dnf for us for sure. It was a shame that the museum was shut today but thanks anyway for showing us this location and perhaps you could update the coordinates to make it easier on the next finder.
Would not have found this but for the name which caused me to look elsewhere. The coordinates are at least 50 metres out. TFTC.
I will fix coords shortly.
Thankyou to cache folk for helping with maintenance.
I have been out of action for a while but will get them fixed

Found with bonny sadly we missed visiting the dairy & heritage museum but at least the cache was a quick find. We also checked in with the close-by cache guardian for fun. TFTC
Today our mission was to visit 2 LGA's that we needed to find caches in.
Our journey took us through Biggendon, Murgon, BP Dam and back to Maryborough via Goomeri and Kilkivan.
Your cache was one we found along the way and helped us to achieve our goals.
Thanks for your cache placement, which enabled us to explore these areas.

11:37:00 AM. Just as well for the hint for us. The GPS had us 63M away. Found and log signed. Thanks for the cache GeckoSpit
T4t$ Used geosense instead of gps. coords are on the wrong side of the road. Easy find using the hint.
Quick easy find, after using previous logs regarding the changed co ordinates, tftc Gecko Spit
Came to GZ last night to be confronted with the remains of the cache, the magnet. Sent the CO a msg indicating that i could replace the container. Back at the caravan I manufactured another magnetic type container for placement. On our return today from caching out along the Nanango road we stopped here and replaced the missing container.
Note for following cachers, the GZ is out by a considerable amout, use the hint and the previous cachers coords.

I am working at the Blazeaid camp. I wanted a cache to keep my streak going so came out here. After searching for a while I noticed something and on inspection it turned out to be a very small magnet. Nothing attached. I will keep my eye on this and try again later if it is fixed.
TFTC. we have found it and it was not where the map says it was in another spot.
Out for a drive today on the back roads.
Very cool start to the day.
Tftc, found using hint and cache name, with updated co ords.

I grew up in the dairy industry love caches with the industry theme. Thanks for this one getting a heart
Found. GPS said we were way off but previous logs suggested we were right on target. Log signed TFTC
After completing four fifths of the Murgon Adventure under instructions from its owner, my next target cache was North of Murgon…
However, this was as far as I got before turning back as the signs said the road was closed…
Pulling up near GZ I checked the hint and thought it was a little odd… but I headed in regardless… after negotiating the waist high grass and puddles I decided to read some logs..,
Well that makes more sense… using E_Smiley’s corrected coordinates I soon had the cache in hand… tftc…

Whirlwind trip around to grab a few LGA's, AL WP's and out of the way oldies before heading out to QOGM next week. I think we have shares in BP but seeing several little places for the first time is quite rewarding and most enjoyable.
Nice quick find here, well done CO.

TFTC. Our journey to QOGM started this morning leaving Maryborough before lunch and having a short drive to Wondai. Parked up had some lunch and then took the car to travel to Murgon to tackle the Adventure Lab and some of the local caches. Lovely couple of hours exploring using caching as a guide.
The co-ordinates put you on the wrong side of the road and are 50 -60 metres out. Use the hint and ignore the co-ordinates

co ords on phone seemed to take is across road but we reread cache description and sussed it out tftc
Nice easy find. The hiding location has been moved from its original position but with some detective work we sorted it out.
Staying a few days in the area and we found this cache! We followed the hint not the coords . Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks GeckoSpit for this one!
Day three of our caching trip around Goomeri. A return visit for this one after the cache was replaced by Ms Maddy - so thanks for that. TFTC
In Kilkivan for an event, visited murgon to see my grandmother and took her to this cache to show her what it is all about
Cache replaced in original position (I think) with magnets.

This area seems to have changed recently and the milk shed has undergone some renovations - and mysteriously managed to move itself to the opposite side of the road. This cache definitely needs the CO's intervention.

On the way home now on our country weekend escape, well heading back eastish anyway. Just a few more to make it a day...
Quick stop on Murgon to check out the milk. Museum was shut - have to try to catch it next time. Parker near it though and ventured across the road to the little milk shed. Bit smelly, then looked uphill to see all the cattle milling in the yards close by. Quick find with the hint.

Friday. This one was a nice quick find which was nice as the last couple had taken a little bit longer than we had anticipated. I was wondering how this cache got it’s name until we arrived at GZ
This was the 9th of 13 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***GeckoSpit***, for showing us this place.

In Murgon for an excursion to the Dairy Museum so arrived early enough for a cache So rusty I actually needed the hint, then felt sheepish indeed that I didn't search longer. Thanks for the cache, plus the museum was well worth the drive.
Interesting to see this little cream can structure, lots of them back home in Maleny. Unfortunately the museum was closed at time of visiting this cache.
Staying at the Barambah Bush caravan park with the caravan club and picking up a few smilies while in the area. Tftc
This week-end Caro (from Jess & Caro) & myself teamed up for a few days of geocaching up this way. [^]
Day 3: We started the day really early as we had to be back in Toowoomba for my event at Midday.
This cache was found just around 6:30am. Now to find a few more on our way south.
All finds were found quickly and generally in good condition unless stated.
Thanks for the caches.

Having stayed at the free campsite in Murgon for a couple of nights and geocached our way around the region, Brother Colin and myself packed our tents up bright and early to make our way back south in time for his event in Toowoomba at midday.
I drove close to GZ and as I was taking a few pics, BC made the find. You may find him in the pic if you look closely.
Thanks for this cache, GeckoSpit!

Nice cool sunny morning to find this well hidden cache in a good hiding spot with co-ords spot on. Thanks for the interesting notes - if we had more time we would have liked to visit the museum!

We will be leaving very soon to attend the Red Centre Experience Event being held in Alice Springs and have decided we would try to make that event a milestone ... the only problem is we are a few hundred caches short This was the perfect excuse for a quick road trip through Nanango/Murgon/Kingaroy The weather was a little rainy, but surprisingly we remained relatively dry during the day with the worst of the rain occurring while we camped overnight [^]
We managed to locate this cache easily and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our journey.
Thank you GeckoSpit for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

For some time I've been meaning to get back to visit the Burnett region, and today was the day. An early start was made and a long 12.5 hr day was spent driving 650km through Blackbutt, Yarraman, Nanango, Kingaroy, Murgon, and up to Boat Mountain before returning.
Quick find here, amongst the noise of an auction underway. Thanks **GeckoSpit** for bringing us here, this find makes smilie #3376. Discover our trackable TGQNRV .

I was out and about today with Sweet-Sour placing a few more caches in anticipation of an event which he will be hosting over the New Year long weekend at Widgee.
After placing the caches we thought that we might take a drive to Murgon and grab a few caches on the way. There were some caches here that neither Sweet-Sour or I had found.
After having a bite to eat we headed out and parked fairly close to GZ and after a short search the cache was in hand.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache replaced exactly as found.
All is good with this cache.

Remember these boxes for milk and bread being common years ago. Spotted the hide in this one as we pulled up on the bikes. Thanks.
Is this museum ever open? Lots of ants at the GZ be careful, quick find necessitated by ant bites.
