TFTC ADDA76. As light faded and misled by previous logs we almost gave up on this one. Would you believe we have ready to deploy the same cache container and overlooked it a number of times. A small hint by the local constabulary quickly alerted us to our overlook. Made our way back to the geo-wagon trying to remove the dog poo from my new asics on the way. Replacement log sheet still in good order.

Rainy day and a lot of housework to do on this day off, so only time for one today in between Dr's appointment and Bunnings. This was the closest, so stopped by the park - all quiet this time of day. Looked around for a little while then got more adventurous and thinking about the hint, J spotted something - what's that over there? Well, it certainly doesn't belong, that's for sure. Razz
Great idea - I'd like to make a similar container myself sometime. Big Grin

# 758 @ 17:40 with Roamz101.
We were in the area and stopped to grab this one. I noticed what looked to be a likely candidate and sure enough it was, for the win.
We signed the slightly damp log and returned it to its home.

This was our second attempt and despite being armed with some extra advice we still seemed to be on track to walk away empty handed. We resorted to giving the wonderful Wesso a call and with his detailed help we located this sneaky hide. It gets a favourite point from us, just for being so frustrating! TNLNSL TFTC

I met up with Mr wesso at this one and we were soon at GZ and started looking in all the obvious spots. We came up empty handed at first and decided to have a rethink.

I was mumbling the clue, aloud apparently, and soon spotted something that showed promise. As I retrieved it I saw that it was indeed the cache and told the young fella that he could stop worrying.

Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Found @ 0940 hrs

Before I start, Number one: the cache is a Micro NOT a small. This makes a huge difference to the game and how you search, luckily the give away was in the description......needing tweezers!

Number two: Tree Climbing IS NOT REQUIRED!!! Once again I put this one off because the attributes for this cache was tree climbing required!! I don't do tree......lol

Ok, with that off my chest, Konie and I arrived at GZ and began our search. We check all the obvious spots and and then had a big re-think.

We had the hint running over and over in our mind and after about 15 minutes, Konie uttered those wonderful words.....Found it!!

The old fellow came up with the good again!!! We extracted the log and signed our names in it before replacing the cache exactly as we found it.

Evil little cache there Adda76, well constructed.

#998 @ 3:45 pm. Another after work, in high heels and a dress, cache expedition. Made my way over from parking on the far side of the park, reading the description. Right, I see the italicised words, I guess that must be it. Too easy. One banged head, dirty knees and a lay down on the ground before I thought maybe I needed a hint. Phoned a friend, who laughed at me, as all good friends do, and reminded me to use satellite view if all else fails (a friendly reminder rather than a hint), which still left the unladylike search for the cache and happy brain chemical reward for me. TFTC Adda76!

Play day again with Iolanthek. Always a day to look forward to, not in the least because of the number of smileys we collect. Smile

Severely disappointed (with myself), because I must have missed this cache somehow. Read the description, AND the italics, looked for something that was hinted at. Looked up above, underneath, in front, behind. I would say: everywhere! And still came up empty handed, so I need to come back sometime for another search, perhaps with better glasses? Or, in hindsight, I should perhaps have used my mirror?

Never mind, this must just have been a clever one. TFTC Adda76

I came here twice today, after 5pm.
Couldn't really have a proper look for the cache due to so many muggles walking around the park.
I'll come back at the crack of dawn methinks!

Joint *FTF* with spinna76 at 1724.

A few publications were coming through and I was just chilling and thought 'Nar, I'm going to let these go...' As did a few other people. I think it was just one of those Sundays.

Then, *BING*... *POP*... 'Another publication', I thought. Then when I noticed the CO I thought I really should go for this. Then *POP* (faceBook message) 'Get ready!', says spinna76.

Not before long we were zoooooooming towards GZ where we jumped out and started our search. There were a few Muggles lurking around but nothing that would hinder our efforts. After a little hunting spinna76 soon came up with the goods.

Great little cache Adda76 and welcome to the Makers. The cache was in perfect order when found.

#994 Joint *FTF* w/ MinkosDes @ 5:24 PM Sitting at home about to start cooking dinner when a couple of publications came through. I decided that I wouldn't go for any FTF's tonight. That was until this one came through. Being that I went to school with this CO and this was his first hide, how could I not go? I messaged MinkosDes and said get your shoes on. Arrived at GZ and the search was on. Looked here, looked there, then I spotted what I was looking for. Great hide and a fun race. Thanks for the FTF pin. ~ TFTC Adda76 Smile

Booyah Found it!

New cache notification popped up.. my husband and I raced to the car and had left home within seconds. We didn't waste any time!

On the way I read the cache description which alluded me to the idea that climbing was involved and the CO left a note to say to take extra care in the wet.. and guess what it starts bucketing down. I'm not a fan of tree climbing in the rain. Better play it safe.

*PING* - another new cache notification!

Rather than turning around we kept going towards this cache instead. My reasoning also said that everyone else may have already left for the first cache and we would have more of a chance at this one despite having to travel further.. however when we arrived at GZ we were wrong..

Spinna and MinkosDes were just hopping in the car to leave. DRAT! missed the FTF!

After a little while of me searching on my own, Spinna and Minkos joined my husband to sit on a nearby wall and laugh at my inadequacy of cache finding. Then they decided to assist me with a little "warmer/colder" game. I tell you its very flattering having a bunch of men yelling "you're hot" ..but also awkward when your husband is also sitting next to them.. haha

TFTC Adda76 and congrats on your first hide! My husband hadn't seen a cache like this before and enjoyed seeing something different- therefore a favourite point from him.
