Hi fellow cachers, sadly the council have still blocked access to this cache. I'm hoping the temporary fencing erected near Park 'n' Play will be removed soon so the fun can continue ET1111
Council have put up fencing due to construction work nearby. Will unarchive one this cache is accessible again.
The Booo's found this cache!
Find #3091
After the fun of the last cache we head up to try this one that I had DNF on the night of publishing. Amazing what daylight can do as I found myself looking at the familiar area of GZ this one was quickly found just a little further away than where I was originally looking... IF only I had move my search a little wider again......
Thanks ET1111 for placing this cache

The fair played havoc with few opportunities to sneak in for the grab. 10/10 to Mrs Jaybeem for knowing her flora.
A quick and easy find. Cache and log in good shape but signature smudged due to the wax paper. Tftc

Quick find with Rusjay. Unable to sign log as our only pen wouldn't write on the waxy paper. TFTC
Only one muggle near by, his in deep meditation so he had no idea we were here. Quick find and sign. TFTC
Quick find with spot on coords. Needed to outwit some muggles, thanks ET1111
A quick find whilst racking up some numbers before heading up to the mountains for a couple of days to do some extreme caching with Delloro! TFTC!

Well, after warming up with 7 caches yesterday, today I decided to go all out now that my cache rationing to find 2000 is well and truly over.
Headed out Glenmore Park way again - still lots of caches here for me to grab.
And grab I did. Took the opportunity for a series of long walks covering a number of finds. 15,000 steps later... fourteen finds and only three DNFs (and a DNAttempt due to muggle workmen nearby).
Better still, a few of the finds expunged previous DNFs, including one cache that had just been checked by the CO after a few unsuccessful hunts.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Got to a deserted GZ and started the search. Couldn't see anything. After 5 minutes a workman turned up, making further searching problematical, so I went for the hint. Yep, been looking there.
So at least now I could focus, but from a distance. Still nothing.
Then two families turned up for the play equipment.
Time to give it up.

A quick grab as I was lucky to spot it straight away. Might get a lot harder when everything here starts to grow!

We had to wait out some muggles playing nearby, before my Geo-wife spotted the cache. The movie is one of her all time favorites, thanks.
After being sick for ages, I wasn't sure I had it in me to peddle to this one, but I am very very happy that I did.
After recognising part of the clue we made a quick find and turned around to head home.

Geokids thought it was hard. Great work. Was a fun intro for some newbie geofriends.

With a nice sunny morning and rain expected later, we headed out early to grab some caches.
Found at co-ords supplied by a previous finder, which worked for us. S.229, E.978.
Many thanks for placing this cache, ET1111, for us and others to find.

We were visiting friends in Penrith for the weekend and the opportunity arose for me to get out and do a bit of geocaching ... so naturally I did. After picking up a nearby cache that I had earmarked to do on this trip, I decided to try to find my way out of this very new suburb (I'm not sure if it's part of Glenmore Park or not?) by following the geocache trail ... wasn't sure it would work, but I'd at least get a few more smilies out of it
When I pulled up, I was a bit disconcerted to see lots of kids in the playground (being of a particular age and sex, I avoid going anywhere near them unless I'm accompanied by my grandkids), but not to be put off, I headed to GZ (the hint was a big help) and did my business there without once looking in the direction of the mums and kids. With a big storm brewing (the one that took out 7 factories at Huntingwood and stopped a NRL game at the SFS), I don't think I would have had to wait long for the mums and kids to disappear anyway.
Thanks for the cache and for the smiley ET111.

After having no luck earlier in the week I came back armed with GPS and Bushfires new coordinates. Lucky the rain had scared all the muggles off so it was a quick find. TFTC.
When we arrived, we noticed children and mothers in the playground and men working on the nearby electrical sub-station. As I have serious muggle-phobia, in situations like this I normally hand YGAT the GPSr and send her off to grab the cache. This I did, relaxing in the car, eating my lunch, observing YGAT as she became more and more frustrated. This was despite my entering the alternate coordinates kindly posted by previous finders.
Feeling some sympathy, I thought I’d better brave it and join her and, just as I arrived, she spotted the cache, claiming my presence had provided the inspiration to find it. How about that?
That’s a relief. Thanks for the tricky hide ET1111.

These hides are always difficult and, like other seekers, the original coordinates had me out in the open on the grass. However, it is a good hint and the alternate coordinates are pretty good. I was cache-blind for a few minutes but finally spotted it with the "help" of Mr MR. SL TFTC
Back in this area for my sons birthday so while here a few caches were on the list and this guy was the first as I often walk the dogs past this reserve.
On a resent count I have found about 250 caches in this area of Sydney and in this section of Glenmore Park I have all smiley faces tonight.
Struggled here as I was in a different location to where I found this guy. On arrival there was a family enjoying the playground facilities so I sort of out waited them by just hanging around the area until they headed home for lunch and then went in for the kill or rather the hide.
I have or will add another set of co-ords so you can please yourself where you look but my numbers are so close to the RainbowSpirit's co-ords.
Thanks again ET1111 for placing this cache.

Another Glenmore park she ticked off! 3rd for today
Looked up the hint as some muggles walked past.... Did nothing for me but soon found the cache

We parked a little far from this cache, so we had to walk past some security fencing and across barren ground to the park. There were some people in the park, so we gave the spot a cursory glance but saw nothing obvious. So we sat down and I checked out what the hint meant on my phone. Once we had the name of the movie, it seemed pretty obvious where to look. I checked there, didn't see it, and then went to check something that might fit the clue if the coordinates were a little out. No, nothing there either. Then I turned to look at what I had previously examined and saw the cache from about five metres away! Go figure. Thanks
#2902- we had just done Ducktales and the car wanted us to drive 1.5 km to get to this one. But the GPS had us closer by foot, so we hot ailed it cross country. After checking out the hint, bikerbuddy spied it, right near where we had both looked previously. A busy park today, with exercise classes and kids, luckily not too close to where we needed to be. Thanks
Found this one difficult. Lots of places here to hide a micro. Co ords out. Nice area.Tftc
As others have found the coords took me out onto the grass, try these ones and see if it helps: S33 48.229 E150 40.977. It took a PAF to see the errors of my way here, and the fact that there were truck drivers nearby didn't help with the search either...
So I met up with snoopy again to have another go at this cache, mainly because one of our PAFs had just found it so we knew we had a good chance of walking away with a smilie this time. This I used my GPS and not the phone to try get a look on GZ. Not sure what the interference is that makes the GPS jump around, maybe the nearby green box. Anyway I resorted to our PAF as nothing appeared any different since the last time we were here except this time we didn't have the place to ourselves. I can't believe I had been only 10cm away from finding it last time, just the wrong angle and I was fascinated by something else. SL #1747 on streak day #963 TFTC
Streak Day #592 - Rocked up to GZ and ris768 already had the prize in hand. TFTC
Oh yeah! its there alright!
As simple as the hide is, it if very difficult to spot.
Thanks for the cache.

The GPS wanted me on the fresh grass at the end of the path. I couldn't spot anything nearby.
I shall return.
I shall return.
Spent a good half hour searching with snoopy and contactpete. For a 1 difficulty it is either gone or the coords are way off. We searched a wide circle between the three of us but came up with nothing.
Had a pretty good look with both snoopy and ris768 came up with zilch..
GZ seems way off in the open paddock.
Might need a tweak in the settings?

Needing to grab things at the supermarket we decided to try for this one... I mean a 1.5 on 1.5 how hard could it be.. GZ had us at the definite area near the tire swing (ok so I don't really no what it is called but it what it looked kinda like.) Searched the closet seat, the pole holding the shade cloth and the swing.. moved out to the bridge... the other seat and after half hour searching decided it was best to return home.
