Unfortunately time for this one has reached its end. But never fear...check out our new cache nearby: CG7CJAG Revisiting Jadodade Park.
This one has gone missing again, we will endeavor to get a replacement in soon.
It may be possible that this one is still here but after 54 straight finds till April, then nothing since we have some doubts. The area has been trashed by either kids or louts with a lot of small trees being axed down around GZ and a few of the larger ones with chop marks in them too. There are signs of screws in trees, ropes and small fires also in the close by area, as well so it has the appearance that this one may be in trouble. Hope that we are wrong.
Got to GZ today to find the area quite trampled... broken trees everywhere. I had a quick look but DNF.
Was headed for an outing to Upper Yarra Reservoir when geocaching came up in conversation. My friend wanted to know more. This was the closest to where we were, so we pulled off the highway for a cheeky cache or two. We couldn't find play GROUND so headed for this one.
The spot on coords led us right to it. Really loved the construction of this and was a great example to show my friend, thanks : )

We headed out this morning with a plan to do some Eastern Suburbs caching, but on a whim decided to head out towards Warburton. My parents had a small steep block of land in Warburton in the 80s and I was feeling nostalgic today. On the way I asked Mrs Plow for some high favourite caches to check out. She picked this one. Now reading the cache notes, I think I can remember those Gus Mecurio ads. Oh the nostalgia continues!
This is a nice little area, that you would have no idea exists from the Hwy.
The cache container was very unexpected and quite enchanting and magical. Also very well constructed. Haven't seen one quite like it before! It definitely gets a favourite from us Mark&Kelly.
Thanks for bringing us here. - Plowfive.

i don't CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! said my companion on a muggy NYE. But I did, and trekked across the bottom of a school oval and through a hole in the school fence. stinky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! said my companion as he chased after the gaggle of geese. I went into the trees to have a look for the cache, and found a masterful construction. Woo hoo!!! Thanks M&K.

We loved this one! Perhaps a little fairy house? Still some things to swap inside. Nice to get close to nature. Thanks!
I had just bought my husband a couple of fruit trees for Christmas, from a fruit tree nursery in Woori Yallock. Who else reckons that fruit trees are an awesome present idea? Well, the man who owned the nursery thought so. It started him whinging about how his family always buy him a pile of "useless rubbish" that he doesn't want. But his enthusiasm for my fabulous gift was, I'm sure, partly driven by the fact that he'd just made a shed-load of moolah off me! Holy Cow those trees are expensive!!
So, it hadn't gone unnoticed that I was tantalisingly close to a Mark & Kelly cache with 20 fave points, and seeing as the day was mostly written off I figured "what's another half an hour going to matter?"
I decided that I'd try out the Apple Maps navigation feature on my new favourite geocaching app: Cachly. "7 minutes to the cache" it informs me. Great! Lets go!
Cachly delivered me to a cul de sac with what looked like a park entrance.....but it was actually a school entrance and I found myself in the out-of-bounds area down the back of the oval. You know, those deep dark corners where the kids go to play Truth or Dare or have their first kiss. Thanks a lot Cachly!! Not my favourite app at that moment in time.
I could see where I needed to be...only about 20 metres away....easy!......over a cyclone fence......not so easy!! But yes, this ALMOST 40 year old dragged her old bones over that fence, waiting for the cold heavy grasp of a policeman's hand clamping down on my shoulder at any moment.
So, now within 14m of the cache the rest should be easy, right? Well, I had to chew my way through many a spider web. I missed a few and they almost threw me backwards as they 'clotheslined' me across the neck and forehead. And what's with the crazy big flying bugs that look like miniature helicopters? Lord knows what would have happened if I hadn't given way to them.
I made it to GZ in one piece and revealed the cache, which sat underneath an impressive web that stretched like a net from one side of the camo to the other, and hung mockingly just above the cache as if to say "go on, I dare you, why don't you see what happens if you put your hand in here". I was most impressed by the amazing electronic bugs that you have put in this cache too. Soooo life-like that I could hardly tell that they weren't real!! Great work on that camo! The Fright Night CO could use this idea on his next frightening cache!! I bravely extracted the container and my finger sunk into a squishy abyss. The feeling was strangely reminiscent of when I was about 3 and I spent most of my life with my finger rummaging around in my nostrils. Oh joy, the reality was that I'd been having a good old grope of a giant slug (pic attached).
I left the slug, the bugs and the nightmarish spider web in place as I figured that it'd be a fantastic character-building school holiday job for the young cache maintainer to tackle. Sorry about that.....bug exterminating is not one of my strong points!.....mounting cyclone fences, on the other hand......turns out I have a knack for that.
Now it was time to drag the old bones back over the fence and INTO the school yard. Heck, if at first you don't succeed (in drawing attention to yourself) try and try again. I returned to the car in a rather bedraggled state from getting caught in the rain. It was a rather moist drive home!
Thanks for a cool cache. I'm giving you a fave for those life-like bugs! I hope The Markandkelly Family have a wonderful Christmas!

On our way home from another great weekend away with friends we stopped. For two in the park. Having no joy at the other one I did the quick trek across the soggy park. Nice easy find in a well constructed carriage. Thanks for the cache

Caching with Ruverbug Jam today.
Unfortunately this great cache had been totally trashed. Such a shame because we could see to effort that the COs had gone to.
Hopefully they can restore it to it's former glory. TFTC M&K

Unfortunately cache has been muggled and in some need of a bit of TLC. Will be back up and running soon.
Found although it had been muggled. Contacted CO to them know.
Cool cache container! Well done.

Very cool! Awesome job. Great camouflage. Signed log and left a marvel Badge. TFTC
The teams LinearZZ and ThetaZ are on a caching drive up the Yarra Valley towards Warburton. We cleared the playground and the girls took off across the field so we followed. There they were admiring the lumber at 12:35. Beaut technique and TFTC
Had the muggle-nephews with me this weekend, the time seemed right so took the plunge and deviously introduced them to caching, enormous whew, they loved it and have now been promoted to geonephews with their own tags - MadMatt and Dan the Man Was definitely looking for the interesting and clever hides to tantalise the newbies and figured this was a good choice having found it sometime previously. MadMatt has the sharpest eyes out but Dan the Man wasn't far behind and yep, this one was a good choice, both thought it was really cool
Out for a day of Geocaching, nothing major planned just want to get a few more smileys on the map!
Loved the container, a fav from me

Exploring Victoria heading North towards NSW. Trying to escape the rain. Not very successful ... until we arrived at Yarra Junction, and the sun came even out so we walked to get the two caches here. Tftc
Great cache, appreciate the effort to put this one together! Our first for the morning. Thanks.

Happy Hunting.

Nice drive up to Healesville to have to have some lunch and maybe do a few caches while we are on the way home. Nice camo.

Another great hide ! I love it when people go to the extra effort !! Tftc found nice and dry and in a great location !!
I had intended to do both the caches near here on my way through today, but with a few muggles near the playground looking like they were not moving any time soon, I decided to just do this one today. The cache was exposed when I reached gz, so the find was too easy. Fortunately it had not been muggled, so I signed the log and put the cache in it's place again before wandering off towards home. Thanks for bringing me here and thanks for the cache.
My GPS decided it wasn't going to measure the locations properly [:(!] but after I'd FINALLY used my eyes I found the cache without it. Take THAT GPS - hahahahaha!
TFTF. Left a toy.

Found this one on a great day out with BorisB&Natasha.
After a nice hot coffee on this very cold afternoon we made our way along the path to this one. We are all big fans of a home made cache and this was a great example. A nice little area too. A fav point from me.
Thanks for the very cool cache Mark&Kelly

After a fun day in the snow with Nut bear we picked this one up on the way home.
We were looking for somewhere to stop and fire up the jet boil for a coffee and noticed this park with a couple of caches in it..........perfect!!! Loved the walk into this one. Once at GZ the cache was quickly spotted and then we all stood back and admired the construction. Definitely deserves a favourite point for the time and effort that has gone into it.
Thanks so much Mark&Kelly for a great cache.

Out tonight with poptoppete on a short cache run (well not run, driving!) in the area picking up a few new cache. Bit wet out but we managed to keep the walks short and not get a soaking. Tftc
We took our lunch to the Warburton area today, and we found this cache along the way. Great hide. Thanks.

Nice camo for the cache. Tried to make it a driveby on the cache motorbike, got within 25 meters of GZ before I had to walk the rest.

Found at 2:47 PM GAFF1.
On our way home after a weekend at the MHS camp in Millgrove, we stopped to have a look at this cache, but were not sure that we approached it the correct way. It was a short walk though after jumping a fence Quickly spotted the cache camo which was a work of art and brings a smile to a cachers face after finding many non descript nano's and micros.
Thanks Mark&Kelly.

Very well constructed. Dry log, cache in excellent condition. I like caches where the CO makes an effort. fav from me.
Belted out between rain dumpings to get some fresh air - don't know which was the better find, the park or the cache-what a great spot! Loved the cache, thanks for the work you've put in, might bring my young nephews here and see how they go
Found on our way back from junior footy today in between showers of rain so we made a quick dash to the gz from the nearest carpark. The cache was soon spotted and we had it logged. This was our 3rd find today of yours Mark&Kelly and each one so far was well thought out and placed, we will give this another favorite for the work, TFTC.
We found this cache on a lovely little run from home in Emerald, through Yellingbo, up to Warby, Donna Buang, across to Ben Cairn and then back home. Not many caches as I had the family in tow, but we really enjoyed the ingenuity of this one. Found nice and easily and signed the log book. Thanks Mark & Kelly!

Quick drop by to replace some detached camo, all good and cache is ready to find!
Need to fill in a day for caching and also some time before a funeral nearby. Love the cache. Very clever. TFTC TNLN
250 m from home! Great hide. Scribbled in the log while the mutts sniffed around on their daily walk.
This was our first ever geocache. How much fun is this. Donna, Erica, Adam, Beau and Jaz

Nice frwsh cache is always good. Nice hide too. Quick, easy and creative.

Found this one today with Robinyang. We had parked nearby after having had difficulty in working out how to access this cache. We increased the terrain rating slightly in the way we went but we found it and signed the log. Great cache and great camouflage well deserving of a favourite point.
Final find of the day with kmace. We initially tried to access GZ via Warburton highway but had no luck. Ended up driving some back roads and eventually got us to the back of the primary school.
We crossed into the school, following our GPSr, and ended up confronted with a boundary fence that need to be crossed. Kmace and I both jumped the fence and continued our trek to GZ.
Once we arrived, was blown away by the container. Great craftsmanship & well placed out of view. Lots of work had clearly gone into this. Fav point from me!

We didn't know about this little woodland behind the park either.
A very pleasant surprise indeed.
A nice sized cache with room for swaps and travel bugs.
Very well crafted, we were both impressed by the amount of thought that went into this cache.
Walked right by as the trees disrupted the iPhone app but soon found once it settled.
Took dragonfly, left a traveller who wants to get to Ireland.
Our Geodogs enjoyed the walk too. Added to our list of favourites.
Thanks for the cache and the history lesson too Geokid 1.

Saw Jadodade Park had been released last night, so soon after I woke up this morning I was out for the hunt. I have been here to pick up grandkids from the kinder but never ventured into the park. There's more to it than meets the eye. Well done with the cache. Thanks Mark&Kelly and Geokid 1
