Thank you

Didn't find but found that syringe box, have removed it for public safety. Can CO please check if original catch is still there.
Out on a caching day with happyuke and nacki22. Third dnf in a row for us. Lots of seaweed around so possibly swept away?
Be careful with this 1. I was there today with my 8 year old son and a couple of his soccer team mates trying to find the cache when 1 of the boys came up to me with a container which we thought was it, upon opening it we discovered that it was full of syringes, spoon and a bag of something. ( glad they recognised it was a bad thing and they dropped it) I put the lid back on it and placed it under a large rock as I knew there where no bins around and I was not going to take it in my car with us . So please be careful if you are looking for that 1. The cache was also a DNF for us as we got the hell out of there.

Needing a cache for the day to keep my streak alive. This was in the perfect spot for a nice morning walk before picking up my kiddies.
Nice quick and easy find,

Nice quick and easy find,
On a day caching with Diddyhonda from Germany, we tackled part of the LIPT and a few others along the western side of Lake Illawarra. So with our bikes we took off from Kanahooka Point. It was a stinking hot summers day of 34 dregrees, but we managed to find them all. A pleasant ride along the edge of the lake, taking in some nice scenery and enjoyable company.
This was #3 for the day. Good hide. Thanks to all the COs for putting these caches in place. A lovely place to visit.

Was sadly looking in the wrong spot for this. Found it when I was ready to give up. Tftc
A quick find and a beautiful view from GZ. Such a great bicycle around here past all the casuarina trees which were singing in the afternoon breeze.
Thanks

on a road trip down from brisvegas to a party nearby. my muggle son and i snuck in a couple of caches . was very windy and cold so no muggles today. took a little while to find as gps was jumping around due to wind. enjoyed the walk and lovely spot. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
An overnighter in the Figtree area provided the chance for a weekend cycle-caching around Illawarra Lake and hinterland. Tally for the day: 27 Finds, 3 DNFs giving a weekend total of 53 finds.
This was the 3rd find for the day.

Plans were set in place with fitzy_1965 for a weekend caching mission around the Illawarra region We had a great time nabbing a whole bunch of caches with the only disappointment being the high number of DNF's due to missing containers
Wandered along to this one and it was a quick find, sign and replace in between muggle walkers!
Thanks for the hide, Lawnikky

11802. Found during a weekend caching trip to Wollongong with specimenX. Overall a great weekend with the only downer being the high number of DNFs - especially around the lake.
A plan was hatched for specimenX and myself to visit Wollongong this weekend to attempt the SES (those that we have solved anyway - we have a few left for next time) and LIPT series plus others. We arrived in Wollongong last night inorder to get an early start on the trail today. Next find for the day. After a couple of DNFs it was nice to find another cache. Log signed, cache returned and we continued on our way to the next one.
Thanks again Lawnikky !!

Detoured here on our way home from a Fathers Days picnic at Sublime Point. The GPS was all over the shop but hubby spotted it while I was reading the logs. SL TFTC Lawnikky
#483 First of nine finds on a days caching around Lake Illawarra and the Shoalhaven. The phone had me looking all over the place. Finally widened my search area and found the prize. TFTC
This one was a nice easy find, so handy having a small dog in tow, good excuse to be seen loitering log signed and cache replaced unobserved on what was quite a busy Sat. morning
I spotted the likely hide for the cache and after a group of walking muggles had moved on I soon had the cache.
Thanks Lawnikky

Some Plovers must be nesting nearby as they were very noisy and didn't like us hanging around for too long. Fortunately it didn't take too long to find.

Cheeky Pied Butcher birds made this find interesting...Left a little Serenity...
On the way down the Illawarra this morning with a diverson to look for some caches in the area. Spent a few moments looking around and during this time I got swooped on by a bird guarding a nest nearby. Beware!
I suspect the coords are a bit in error but not a great deal. TNLN, SL. TFTC Lawnikky.

Despite a clear sky just enough trees to confuse the GPS. Used the clue and came up a winner... thanks lawnikky! !

Although I appreciate the exercise involved in changing a log, what I don't appreciate is being told that my log is full when it is not (see pic). So please, do tell me when the NEW log is full ... Please don't make we walk when it's not necessary.
Thank you Stumbles Mate for the heads up on the full log ... will get to it sometime this week
What was supposed to be a quick cache turned into almost an hour of capturing and waiting for an owner of two dogs that had got out and also calming down an old lady who had an anxiety attack about these dogs getting run over. It certainly took some time away from our morning of caching we had planned. None the less the cache finding was the easy part. TFTC
With inthistogether on a great winter day although catching and looking after two runaway dogs took a lot more time then finding the cache lol. TFTC
It took ages to find, I spent a lot of time on the rocks when all I needed to do was to look elsewhere...
Absolutely stunning views over the lake from here in the late afternoon light. Lots of black swans and pelicans keeping me company as I waited out the walker muggles then made the quick find. TFTC!
Nearly got my feet wet and then spotted a tell tale sign! Left some tiny lil treasures. 2 for 2 for today so far
An Easter Sunday bike ride with the geokids to burn off those chocolate eggs! Revenge on this one as Mrs aspitbiker headed off in the wrong direction and I found the cache almost at my feet!! TFTC
Just FYI, the container in question is how PET bottles, or soft drink bottles are made during the manufacturing process. The Pre-finish tube is the generic PET bottle. Later they are heated up and inflated inside a mould into the particular shape that the soft drink company wants.
A short walk from the carpark, for a quick find. Not many places about that it could be in.
Thanks for the cache.

Another enjoyable walk to a spot that would otherwise be un-seen by us. Residents should really appreciate how the lake foreshore has been made both attractive and useable along their backyards. TFTC Lawnikky.
My last find for the afternoon and after a pleasant stroll from the nearest carpark the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks
Thanks
I had something in mind for where this one could be and as we approached the area I thought my compass was still a little was off and then while waiting for compass to settle my phone went flat. Lucky I gad the tech head geo kids with me. A quick download of the app and we were off again. Love walking along here on such a great day. Tftc.
A straightforward find once at GZ- we enjoyed the pleasant walk along to the cache and played in the park afterwards. Only issue was a skinned knee from running on the cycleway . TFTC!
Day trip down to Wollongong - between 15 to 20 finds today.
Quick find - had me thinking "Under? Under what?" (Assuming a bridge, boardwalk)
Thank you

A quick detour coming back from work had me parking the car only 200 meters away. Cache was not were one would expect but found soon anyway.

This evening I suddenly realised that I had only 'found' one cache in February, and it was an attended event! I decided that I needed to rectifying things, immediately, and so made a quick evening loop with Juno scooping up some local hides.
This was our fourth stop, and it was quite beautiful in the late evening light. Favourite point thus awarded. Cache found in the first location that we searched, love it when that happens.
Cheers

On my way home and a slight detour to grab this cache, it's very peaceful here, lthe lake is looking calm and lots of birds about. TFTC
Had planned only six caches today but on checking email while out and about, noticed two new publications I wouldn’t normally have been close enough to race out and grab. However, as I was half way between both, decided to take a chance and swing by, being rewarded with a FTF on both. Had met the CO only last weekend at the ICC Event and knowing, as a new cacher, he hadn’t upgraded to a dedicated gps yet, was prepared to give a bit of leeway with co-ords. Actually pretty good and used with the clue, cache located during a small window of opportunity between what felt like every kid in the area taking their first bike ride without training wheels.
This popped up and was close to home, so I thought I'd have a crack at FTF. Headed off with the geodog only to find I'd been pipped at the post. I didn't have anything small enough to swap so I left the FIJI pin for the next comer. TFTC Lawnikky, and congrats mizmaz
