Good hiding spot but took a while because we had to keep stopping because the bikers keep coming over.
Enjoying biking along the Taradale to Awatoto trail on a beautiful warm, sunny, calm afternoon. The hint was appreciated and the cleverly concealed container soon found (phew!). Thanks fireworm.
I was down in the Hawkes Bay for work for a couple of days and between work commitments I was able to do some caching, both to stretch the legs and to see some of the local area. On my way back from Hastings to catch my flight back home when the GPS indicated that I should make a left hand turn off the express way - well obviously google maps hadn't had an update for a while because there was no turn off straight after the river! I carried on and made my own way to GZ where I found the cache pretty quickly, the log however had fallen out into all the leaves on the ground, so I sent more time hunting for the log than I did the cache! Also found a bullet casing, so I guess the title of the cache could be walk, swim, bike and shoot?? log found, signed and returned to cache. TFTC!
Lig may need replacing soon. Great wee find. Busy track. If it was earlier we might have walked track.
Found after getting dusty and dirty! Nice wee hide in a fairly public spot. Tftc
Great hide and helpful hint.
That is the smallest zip-lock bag I've ever seen.

Fortunately all was quiet here today as we scrabbled about for a while. The co-ords were not very helpful but the hint was most useful. A cunning wee hide. TFTC
Had to wait for a few dogs and a bike or two to pass then it was a quick find, SL TFTC.
Another find on the great north summer roadtrip with the Banians- a week of travel from Wellington to Auckland via Napier, Wairoa, that secluded road between Wairoa and Rotorua, and almost the Coromandel peninsula.
Quick find after letting muggles (a cyclist, a dog walker, a pair of runners and a handful of 4wds). The day was drawing to a close and a string of easy finds was making it just that much better. TFTC

#7245. A quick park and grab by the Tareha Recreation Reserve. GZ was all quiet at this time. Quick find. Nice hide. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Quite a few people down here today, walking, biking, motor biking and having fun. A quick find and on to the next one
Had to sit and wait for a lady to pass before retrieving this one. She took her time! TFTC
On a fun road trip with tmann421 and Princess-Emily.

Quick find in the bitterly cold wind today. Had hoped to carry on and do the rest but it's too cold and we didn't bring our pooch so we will return to walk her another day and complete the series. Thanks for bringing us here...hadn't been here for years.
Hired some bikes whilst holidaying in the area. Decided to try out some of the cycleways and do some geocaching on the way. Quick find, but log was wet and falling apart. tftc
Found on the ground so replaced as per hint. Logbook was rather wet so my signature may end up being a tad unrecognizable.

Havent seen a container like this one before, creative! Not too many poeple going by, so a relative easy find. Thanks for bringing me to a new area in town. Will have to explore more and grab the other caches when I have more time.
Mum and 3YO did the park-n-grab on this one after dropping 10YO at rugby training... And this was possibly 3YO's first real find!
Mum took one side of the hint, while 3YO took the other - 3YO's side was the winner... and 3YO saw through the camo.
Once log was signed, it was a bit of a mission to replace - a very busy area, even on a gloomy day.

Good question, it could be both! Managed to find in between passing showers and muggles, TFTC fireworm, #7768
Looks like some rubbish. Was not wear it should have been. By conner post at wooden rail
Very cool cache. Spotted it straight away but didn't realise at the time it was the cache!! Tftc
I found this cache with my Mum (sunnybunny64) earlier in the year but have only just got my own geocaching account. I’m hoping you won’t mind me back dating this find so that I can log all the ones I have actually found in my own account. Jordis – 7yrs
Clever mini cache! Like the bench style oh and our 100th. Creating time for us soon
quick easy find cords a bit out but used clue to find cache easily out catching some caches with kiwiowl
When I first came to live in HB almost 20 years ago, the local youths used to all chip in $5 and buy a cheap vehicle, thrash it here and eventually set the thing on fire in this spot - Saturday night entertainment lol. Quick find, co-ords were about 20m off but not too many other places to look.

sorry to have to disable this already. obviously chose a really bad place been down to check and yes the cache is missing already. will sort very soon.
FTF. Bit not sure this is where it was meant to be. I found it on the style by the cattlestop, a good hundred metres from GZ. I only picked it up because I thought it looked like a good potential cache container. Have placed it beside fence post near style, but CO will need to put in original hiding place or sort this one out. Contact me if needed.
