4th of 14 found today.Continuing to explore this "dark" side of the hill. A very pleasant walk with a quick find at the end. As it should be .****The condition of the cache is - poor. The cache lid is cracked and could do with some TLC. ****TFTC joeylovestreasure and the rodeo.
Solved while watching TV last night, and a quick find here this evening. Container has seen better days. Thanks for the cache joeylovestreasure
Here in Canberra for the Mega and we found your cache while exploring the area.We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty.Enjoyed caching in this area, cache and contents were in good condition. Many thanks to all CO's for your cache placement.
Solved and found while out picking up caches on Mt Rogers this lovely sunny (but windy!) Saturday afternoon. Have added another log as the current ones are both full. TFTC!
We’ve had this puzzle solved for a while so it was nice to stop by here today and pick the final up. A quick find as the muggles fortunately avoided the nearby path and took the other fork at the junction. TFTC

In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Ben and Holly's magical kingdom had a good time finding this one. It was Holly's first geocache and she was very happy
Got out for a lovely walk with the fam, was fun and the geokids enjoyed the googling and finding. Tftc
Solved this ages ago but as it’s such a lovely day decided to pick this up. Such a lovely place to visit and fabulous views.

A quick find walking the Geofloof, not the only container here! Thanks for the cache
Quickly solved last night in order to come out today to find it with a few others in this area TFTC
This is the second type of cache that I need to find for its calendar and having DNF'd the other one nearby, imagine my excitement when I thought that I had found this one so easily. However on opening of what I thought was the cache container it soon became clear that it wasn't a cache. Luckily it wasn't far away and the log now carries my name. A quick find like the quick solve. TFTC joeylovestreasure. TNLN SL. It is so good to have an easy mystery cache occasionally instead of the ridiculously hard ones that have started to appear. Gets a FP for its simplicity which brings joy as well as a smilie.
Our first puzzle cache! Grew up on the slopes of Mt Rogers, great to return here for this one. Many things in Canberra have changed, but the track around Mt Rogers really hasn't!
Found with the geodog in the dark. A lovely moonrise on tonight.
Thanks for the cache!

Out with a friend who lives in the area. Decided to show a cache or two in the area. TFTC
Out for a walk with some friends (including Aramil) and decided to open the geocaching app. TFTC
Aptly named cache as I take another step towards rounding up all the caches on my childhood mountain! TFTC!
Nice little mystery and a great walk during the fog. Girls had a little fun finding it. TFTC
Out on a caching blitz with muppet95, today our hit list contained Lab adventures, mystery caches, letterboxes, virtuals,a wherigo or two and a few high difficultly trads also tossed into the mix,we began our day at the top end of town as we cached down towards the university, across to Mt Ainslie with the adventures also taking us everywhere else all over and in-between before heading back home again,it was a big day out having ourselves an excellent time visiting some unique and interesting places and finding alot of fun, challenging and creative hides along the way.
Thanks joeylovestreasure for the cache

One of my favourite walks, finally took the time to solve this cache and look for it.
Out with Countrykittykat on the hunt for a daily and thought we’d grab a long solved cache. Searched around amidst the wattle to no avail, before phoning a friend for a coords check. We were one digit out lol!
Hiking back around and up a different way to the new coords we soon had a cache in hand.
Thanks for the puzzle! Thanks for the cache.

I had travelled down from Brisbane to attend the Mega event in Queanbeyan and spent the last week and a bit furiously working my way through my extensive caching to-do list. My wife and daughter flew down to join me on Tuesday and since then caching has taken a back seat to more touristy activities.
This morning however was spent attending the Dawn Service at the Australian War Memorial, the solemn purpose of which was highlighted by the poignant stories and diaries of soldiers being read out prior to the ceremony. Definitely a moving experience.
Afterwards we adjourned back to my relations place for breakfast, and afterwards went for a stroll up to Mt Rogers to walk of our bacon and eggs. My relations are no cachers but humoured me while I ducked off to find strange containers hidden in the bush . No problem with the find here. TFTC

That was fun. Did the multi and the other caches on Mt Roger as well. Great views from the top. Thanks for getting me here. I never visited before.
Solved this one while sitting at our friends house. Nice quick puzzle to solve and a nice morning for a walk up the hill. Once at gz it was a quick find
Today's mission was a lunchtime wander around Mt Rogers. I used to walk around here when I was a small boy with my Dad, back in the days when I lived in Flynn. Mission was to grab the multi and the oldie... in the end I got all the trads and even the puzzle!
The views on the walk around were absolutely stunning, helped by the fact it was a very pleasant day.
Nice way to finish the day with me walking past this one on the way back to the car....serendipity!

Out for the second day of our Canberra blitz picking up puzzle caches that have been worked out for quite some time - some of them so long ago they've even been forgotten by this time. Anyway, this go around we flitted from suburb to suburb picking up park 'n grabs (or very nearly so) clustered around the northern end of the ACT. By no means a power trail as most were scattered here and there higgledy piggledy which turned into a slow moving day in terms of overall numbers but we were thorough and painstaking enough so that at the end of the long day we still managed to scratch our way past the sixty-cache threshold, which was about ten better than we'd hoped to do. A few finds turned out more challenging than we wanted but overall everything was found in short order and without major difficulty. Well done to the CO's on that score. Apologies for the copy n' paste logs - most puzzles deserve a few more words than this - but gathering in a couple hundred puzzles in a short span of time amounts very much to binging the area leaving little time to reflect on what brought us here. Not to worry, tho, everything has been well worth the effort, and will bring us back several more days before we're done. TFTC.
Another day spent ticking off solved Mystery caches in Canberra with 154Crows. It's been very rewarding to convert hours of puzzle solving into finds. This time around, we tackled the NW section of the ACT. Again, we had another big day - 61 Mystery caches (10% of remaining) with 0 DNF's!! Thanks to all CO's for their puzzles and hides (apologies for the generic logs).
A little wary about this spot after all the recently posted snake warnings around the trail but none encountered and was soon signing the log. TFTC jlt
Found this nice Cache together with Dino and Flintstones. Thank you for putting it out and maintaining it joeylovestreasure.
The family wanted to do a nice walk with Hoppy not to far away and and even tough we have cleared out Mt Rogers long ago, there still where two puzzles related to this hill that were new since and we had not found. We also had not been here in over 6 year so Mt Roger made for a nice goal today. Just had to solve the puzzles real quick but luckily they were reasonably easy to do.
This one I had time to quickly do the necessary googling at home before we left. A quick find once at GZ, all in good order. I left TB 887ev here but is has already moved on.
Thank you joeylovestreasure for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

A cache far afield for this CO. But a good one nonetheless. I was targeting solved puzzles and older caches today, so Mt. Rogers was just the ticket.
Thanks joeylovestreasure

Solved the coords a little while ago so it was about time to take a pleasant morning stroll and locate the cache. TFTC
A small amount of googling led to finding the coords and then it was off for an adventure with Rex and the Geokids. Our first find for what ended up being a highly successful day out caching. TFTC.
Last day of the long weekend and I needed to get Commando04 away from video games... I'd solved a couple of nearby mysteries so that was a good excuse. This was found just as dark clouds started to move over. Tftc.
Quickly gathered the answers on the phone, then headed out to GZ to make the find. Cache all OK.
Thanks,
Thanks,

I have spent a lot of the weekend stewarding at dog events while the Ridgeo-pup was left at home alone. She was NOT happy about that! I needed to spend a bit of quality caching time with her to restore our relationship.
A nice little puzzle and a good little hide. The container and contents are in good condition (unlike a few others round here) and me and the RP are on speaking terms again. Thanks for the cache, joeylovestreasure

Woohooo!! First mystery cache solved and found with jonasani. We will definitely try to solve more mysteries from now on. Log book completely full so will need a new one. TFTC
After gathering the required information and forming a good looking set of co-ordinates, we were off for our daily walk. Quick and easy grab, TFTC!
Nice easy mystery to solve over breakfast and grabbed the Cache itself while grabbing some others nearby. Another one down. Gotta Cache 'Em All. TFTC
Solved and found this a week or two ago, just logging now.
A good little puzzle, and nice walk to GZ. Coord I found to be spot on.

Drove around North Belconnen area to-day finding a few caches. When your christened name is Roger I had to find this one. Solved the puzzle a couple of weeks ago. TFTC
Second find for the day, my plans of finding all the caches on top of Mt Rodgers was cut short by the incoming storm. A nice walk and view of said Storm rolling in though. TFTC JLT!
Solved puzzle last night so had to grab today for my daily. Quick change of shoes at the carpark before meandering up to GZ. Had a look in a few possible places before finding what I was looking for.
Thursday 29 December 2016 - an overcast muggy mid afternoon Summer's day in the low 30s with sprinkles of rain cooling the air. Found 7 from 7 caches including one mystery and one multi cache over 2.5 hours of brisk walking for 5.5km.
Worth a favourite point for tempting me to research useless but fun facts that I was able to remember and tell my husband along the way. Thx MuggleHusband. TFTC joeylovestreasure.

As I was heading home after my walk around the pond I saw this solved cache nearby. I spent the few minutes to walk up to the cache and enjoyed a fun find after the fun research to get the answer.

We had decided on a walk/run around Mount Rogers this afternoon, a place we have not visited before. Looking at the map before we left home, we decided to sort some coordinates for this cache. It made us start thinking of all the other famous"R"people we could come up with! None-the-less...a healthyg list here. And then it was off to find the cache.
We enjoyed our walk over, around up and down Mt Rogers today.
Thanks joeylovestreasure,

'A' answer was not my friend but I plugged in 1 up and 1 down, and went for a walk, used the photo, and found this little rascal for souvenir this weekend
Did the research last month, but collected this one only today, after completing Round the Mound. Almost got drenched in the process, which added to the fun.

Hmmm ... when I look at the map, I have a few areas of smileys, with several odd "?"s in the middle ... Most of them I don't seem to be able to do much about, but this was one I knew I would be able to fix
... just had not actually got around to doing the looking up of the info to do that - lol
So ... Today I had nowhere else I had to go/be/do except to find a daily cache, and vote ... sigh ... so I figured I would have a sleep in, solve this over brunch and go and vote at the nearby school then take the Golden GeoRetriever for a walk to collect it ... I slept well, so brunch ended up being lunch - lol - found all the info on the Rogers and got some numbers that looked like they took me somewhere likely, arrived at the polling booth just a bit too late to grab a "democracy sausage" went in and voted while other people coming and going made friends with my dog (tied up to a post nearby and then we drove up to the parking area, and wandered in and made a nice quick find
We then kept going up to the top, and down the other side ... and in and out and around a few streets and up a few more trails ... and we were almost back at the car when we met someone with 3 Golden retrievers - instant doggy party! LOL ... So ... We went walking for a lap around the mountain with them!
TFTC - a good excuse to come walking on/around/up this hill ... but for some reason it was dark by the time we got home ... I wonder where my day went? lol

Solved this puzzle in the morning and then out with Trodectus the complete all the Mt Rogers caches. Arrived GZ and soon had CIH. TFTC
After a consultation with Dr Google, we had some numbers and today they turned out to be ok! Cache easily found and in good condition. Thanks joeylovestreasure
Forgot to bring the coordinates for this one on our morning trip to Mount Rogers, so decided to return just before dark with the questions answered as we did not want to leave a gap in the map.
Nice easy walk from the parking coordinates, with a find just as easy but well hidden Nice cache, interesting information learnt about everything that has the word "Rogers" in it
Thanks joeylovestreasure

On a big day of caching through Canberra today with J+J.AU. Early stat and bikes ready to go. Quit a few hills to conquer today, but it was oh so much fun. Ideal weather conditions and many other outdoor enjoyers along the way made for a fun day! Solved the puzzle along time ago, finally found today.

What a perfect sunny spring day! What better way to make the most of it than to go for a wander around Mt Rogers?!
The puzzle was an easy and interesting solve [^] So up went the coords to GPS for the collect. This one was the first one to nab. Wandered up from the car park and I had the cache in hand in seconds. Passed a small flock of TINY little finches pecking around on the track-sooooo cute!
Signed log and replaced and I was off for more.
Thanks for the neat puzzle and hide, JLT!

Enjoyed discovering about some other famous Rogers - this is what is so great about geocaching. Even more enjoyable was the walk to the cache and then continuing up to the trig point. Fantastic views of Canberra from all angles. TFTC
Mrs Red_V did the work for this one this morning. A quick find, even if we did have to rely on google maps since we couldn't locate our GPS. TFTC
Worked on this with HypoHippo during the week and couldn't have picked a nicer day to grab it. Angel accompanied and stood back until the cache was found. Thanks JLT, I feel well and truly Rogered
helped Bobl27 solve this one during the week in preparation for getting another Geocaching Road trip souvenir. Glad to have this one ticked off - especially since it was JLT that helped me get started in this crazy game. Thanks JLT!
