An easy find despite a gardener being in the garden. I saw the cache straight away, grabbed it, turned my back, and signed the log, before returning the cache to its hiding place all without the gardener noticing us. He had on headphones and was in his own little world.
Wow what a clever cache container. Tried wrong thing first, then the light bulb went off, I wonder, and yes. Oh joy, log book signed. Thanks for the cache Natalie247, a fav from us.
On a cyclocache ride to Andersons Bay and back.Didn't search for long. Couldn't find it under the Nine and I didn't have my pokie pole to sweep around underneath - GZ is pretty mucky.
Noticed something was, wrong? Why is the popping out? Bazinga found the cache TFTC!

First time did not find it. Second time we did. Reflected on the hint and came back. Tftc
Visiting the South Island from Ottawa, Canada, and getting some caches along the way. Very beautiful! In Dunedin for a couple of days before heading back to Christchurch. TFTC
That is soo sneaky!I love it.Hiding in plain sight.I reckon I've driven past it about 1000 times and never noticed it.TFTC
The big mission of today day was to break my record of most finds in 1 day. I started in the morning from Larnach Castle, after spending the night there. Unfortunately, the weather was really bad for part of the day but I persisted nonetheless, going on a geocaching hunt through the wind and rain, on my bike! After going down Highcliff Road into the city, I spent a lot of time in the city centre, ticking off all adventure labs there. Then through the botanical gardens and onto the steepest street in the world, which I managed to ride all the way up in 3 'stints' . To finish off I grabbed some more tradies at the waterfront and just before midnight I called it a night. I'm not sure if I broke the record yet, since I'm only logging all finds at the moment .Btw, sorry to all CO's, I did not manage to actually sign all logs, since my fingers were sometimes so cold, I had no strength to open some tight containers. Rest assured, I actually found all containers and enjoyed the full day hunt a lot! Also sorry for this generic log for all caches, making it a little bit easier for myself, since I found so many. All finds were relatively easy, mostly because of the hints, thanks for that. All DNF's were either taking too much time so I had to move on, or were very probably missing. Many thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining! FP's rewarded for the ones I especially enjoyed!
Greetings from the Czech Republic and Thanks For This Cache.

Sent in to the rain by Starjammer to grab this one as a pen was located. TFTC
Great spot!! Surprisingly busy in the evening so had to wait a hot minute. TFTC!!
Nice park and grab near a very busy road. Bag is leaking and needs to be replaced, so the log has some water damage. Tftc
Have found ones like this before so was a quick find while out with the grandkids picking up a few projects to do over the school holidays. Weather is pretty wet and dreary so cabin fever meant we needed a drive and a few caches.

It is strongly recommend that whilst we go for a walk for exercise, we need to take care on shared surfaces and geocaching should not be done at this time; https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/New+Zealand
To remove temptation, I am disabling this cache and ask kindly that you do not find this cache during lockdown.
Remember there is more than physically finding a cache, there are plenty of puzzle caches you can do at home. Or if you live near a multi you can walk the trail and save the find for another day. For more info or connect with wider community see Geocaching New Zealand on Facebook.

TYFTC very clever, thank you! The log paper was full and the bag is damaged so, a bit wet inside, I didn't have a suitable one to replace it sorry.

Parked up at the warehouse and walking round the block to tick off a few...

Very clever hide! Used the hint and had the cache in hand after not too long. Luckily I had parked in the adjacent carpark so was able to sign the log in the car, before returning it to its home. Otherwise, passing muggles might have been a bit curious about my activity. TFTC
Going for a road trip to Dunedin for a new scenery. Doing a challenge and getting the ancient and modern places.

I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. New Zealand is my 4th station traveling from south Christchurch to north Auckland, my first visit here, its far away. This is my sabbatical-cache #506.
Once I got to GZ I was pretty sure I knew what I was looking for, having found something similar in Marlborough. What I wasn't prepared for was the heading-home-from-work traffic. Duffer! After a looong wait for it to quieten down I did a grab and run. Ah yes, exactly what I thought! Good to have this one in hand at last! TFTC and the history lesson natalie247
A fewdays in the big smoke with medical appointments. But always time to get fresh air and look for a cache or three!

So a small short cut (more like a exrta km )on my returne to camp .
A beautiful night for a walk and a cache.

This was a nice way to break up the walk
Now what to cook for tea .
Mccas , bk , subway or pitta pit? or I could just go straight to dessert

Found while Ruru_NZ in buying a weed wacker. didn't think this type of hide is still allowed? However it was a quick find..
Road trip to Dunedin with Saethwr. Caching not a priority (for a change) , but picking up a few as we go.
I had a brief look at this when in Dunedin last year, but a lot of muggles (in one of my favourite places to shop), so more a DNAttempt than a DNF.
Tonight Saethwr and I too a wander while waiting for our tea to cook... Very few muggles this time. Stood back and noticed something a little different. Yes!
The bag is not so great, but the dampness hasn't affected the Ritr paper.
Thanks for the smilie Natalie247.

I found myself walking around in circles in search of this one until something clicked, and there it was and I gladly signed the log. Makes geocaching fun when you find ones like this. Tftc
Last cache for the day as we return to Zara for a well earned break and dinner compliments of The Seagnoid. But time to snag this one first. Cheers. Thanks for the write up about Strathallan. Fav from me for the history lesson.
Easter Friday 19 April - Dunedin central ++.
Its another awesome geoventure to Dunedin, with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby, Jack, Jill and William all along for the trip. Had a wonderful 10 days exploring Dunedin. It was great catching up with local cachers at several events we attended. Lots of walking and driving, with the odd cycle and wave ride to jazz things up. Thanks to all the COs that made this trip a wonderful success. Even managed to bag some lab caches along with wherigos, earth caches and events, with the usual mix taking us to some amazing places..

Don't see enough of this kind of hide. Always the first thing I check for as it is so quick and simple to rule out (as is usually the case).
Taybeedragon and I have an eleven day Easter weekend in Dunedin. Although, let's face it, given that we are from Blenheim and Picton that means two of those days was spent in travelling. In that time we grabbed a smidge over three hundred caches. Not bad, considering the amount of time spent way out on the back roads, on bicycles or canoeing on the water. A few vituals, larges, letterboxes, earths, wherigos, and even ten lab caches in the haul. An awesome weekend!

Found on our return road trip from Papamoa to Dunedin. No problem with the find but log is damp. Merry Christmas and TFTC.
Sneaky sneaky. Found after the third bout of rain today - at least it didn't hail again! Tftc!
Our night in Dunner to see Pink is over now meandering home & collecting a couple of caches on the way. Cool hide. Even tho log is new it is slightly damp. Fav point from me. TFTC
I have some days of in Dunedin so I rented a car and visit some interesting places and special Geocaches. Lovely weather today even if the morning was pretty cold!
Always a nice hide, liked it!
Thanks for hiding!

OMG! Last time we looked for this we looked and looked and looked and then gave up. Came back today and put my hand straight on it. Kicking past myself.
This was one that had stumped Silver_Penny so we both went to see. Yeah, a very easy find when you stop and think!!
Returned today with the Master and he walked straight to it!. I had given up all hope and placed it on my ignore list after my total failure last time.
Thanks (an embarrased erninz)
