Heading to QLD from WA picking up a few LGAs on the way. Thanks COs for placing and maintaining
Eeek a cool spot with amazing views but I don't think the very close house nearby was here when the cache was originally placed. Was greeted at the cache by a VERY excited little staff followed by a big, boisterous dog who decided to pee on the tree but thankfully not on the cache haha. TFTC
Another quick stop on my short journey this morning. The shift from DST to AEST made for an early start!Easy find, well hidden, ants outside but not in the cache TFTC AL, guess what Im doing at Easter
wow what an interesting cemetery this was. Very small and tucked away. We had a walk around and then used the hint to find the cache. Thanks for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Nice quick park and grab. Neighbours next door looked at me but didn't take any notice for what I was wandering around doing. I took a nice little sit down break at GZ to look around, take a breath and take it all in. Quickly signed my name and returned the cache under its cover. Tftc
We stayed at the Maryvale hotel last night in our motorhome. Heading towards the coast today we stopped to find this cache. There are some recent graves, 2021 & 2023.

**Found Saturday 22-July-2023 at 16:37 Smiley #2270**Wow, I have slowly just been finding caches, signing logs, logging drafts and simply forgetting about these and never actually logging them. My sincerest apologies to the relevant CO's, especially if I found issues with them and didn't do anything about them.Unfortunately my drafts were also designed to jog my memory about the cache to assist with the logging process. Doesn't work when some of them are over 2 years old. Here comes some generic comments. Once again, I apologise Out and about doing a big loop from home to Toowoomba, south through towards Warwick and then back home through Boonah. All is good here.Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache **Aussie Liahona** Rogersclan13
Cache was replaced by the very kind Davinells who were attending a huge climb for caches nearby. We thank them for their kindness and wish them great karma for all their geocaching journeys. It's the same kind of container that was the cache before ours went missing.
Please be sure to cover the cache when you replace it after you've signed the log to help preserve its hide. Remember this is a cemetery so please behave here appropriately.
Cheers and happy caching!

Lovely spot to lay to rest. Few more than 9 graves now, some very recent ones. Had a chat with the neighbour and his set up. Quick find at gz. Tftc
A very beautiful and peaceful spot for a final resting place.

The wife and I were heading away for the weekend and decided to take a drive to Toowoomba making a few detours on the way.
We missed the turn off and headed down to Maryvale for another cache and then headed back and found the correct entrance. I parked up the car and looked at the GPS and found that I had parked within a couple of metres of the cache. A quick find

Way back in May, I embarked on maybe my favourite roadtrip ever, and it ended (or at least the geocaching portion did) more-or-less at Gladfield, late on a Sunday and still with many kilometres to drive back home. Evidently, I ignored geocaching on this leg, otherwise, I'd've noticed this icon on the map. Though truly, I've clearly missed noticing it on the map for over six years.
This morning I have a quick climb up Mount Mitchell planned. It's a wet day, but up here on the range, I am above a layer of cloud that sits below Cunninghams Gap, and below a layer a few thousand feet higher. Humid, foggy, cloudy, but not necessarily rainy. I love weird weather like this! With the walk successfully complete, I decided to head away from home and towards Gladfield, exclusively for this geocache. The last 'western' Aussie Liahona hide for me.
As the kilometres and then metres counted down, I slowed and took the dirt road. I spotted too the old sign pointing at the cemetery. It seems the CO has a penchant and skill for spotting such signs. I bounce my tiny hatchback up the lumpy road, and drive in through the gates.
Getting close, I spot a good place to park, then realise it's near a suspicious item. I park even closer and with my door open, reach out to make the find; seatbelt still on. Another true driveby! I sign the logbook and with drops of rain appearing, I sit here a while to soak in the serenity and have a bite more lunch. After this, I'll descend the gap again and make my way home via the scenic route. Driving out this way is a pleasure, seeing these old cemeteries is a treat. Thanks for showing me this place, and the excuse to drive some more, Aussie Liahona

Felt a little conspicuous pulling off the highway and into this cemetery between two properties. Nevertheless, we managed a quick find after parking and checking out a few of the graves nearby and avoiding the gaze of the neighbours.

Beadling around the areas north of Warwick today. We visited someone in Sladevale for a Facebook Marketplace purchase, then just continued north.....
Interesting little cemetery that potentially, no one except for the neighbours know evenexists. After finding the cache, I wandered around each grave reading the enscriptions, surprised to see how recent most of them were. We even found one name who shares the same name as our street address inWarwick. Great views from here.
Thanks Aussie Liahona for finding a beautiful situation for a cache. Fave Point awarded.

Today, I joined karicka's invitation in targeting and hiking Lincoln Bomber. We had a small group consisting of GurTheWanderer, karicka, and team Magistical, and set off rather early, arriving in Warwick just after 07:00 hr. The drive to the trailhead was certainly rougher with a few flowing creeks needing to be crossed, and then it was a long seven hour hike to the bomber wreck, and returning back down. I had only learned about the Gympie Gympie plant during the week, wearing the necessary PPE for any encounters, but otherwise some nice scenery and tough going steep sections. Following the hike, we made a few stops on our return home, before resting for the remainder of the evening.
A peaceful stop, and a geocache that didn't take too long in finding. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Aussie Liahona for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Out today for a quick drive to Stanthorpe for a couple of particular caches to finish off my 4th loop and grab a couple to get me closer to my 5th loop.
It was just a quick trip into the area today as I had to be in Ballina by 4pm, plus I could not wait till next year to finish my loop, lol.
Today I grabbed a few puzzle caches, a couple of trads, a couple of earth caches, a letterbox and a couple of challenge caches. It was a nice drive down at this time of the morning with no one on the roads, gave a good chance to stop and do some sight seeing along the way too.
This was my first cache for the morning as I needed to get a couple for my 360 degrees. This was an easy find for me, the hint made it too easy, but im glad it was there. Thanks the placement and with the log signed and cache replaced as found I was on my way, nice hide.

As I grew up in Maryvale this was a very nostalgic found. Did this a group with SheRice and Gemerald98. TFTC.
I always enjoy a cache with a history aspect. One of those spots one would not visit. Thanks
The listing could do with a trailhead waypoint or even a mention of the road you need. Had to read a couple of logs to work it out. Once in the right spot, made a quick find after paying my respect. Thanks for the cache
A nice little cemetery that I did not know was here. Cache was found easy enough when at GZ. Thanks for the cache.
A very interesting little place to stop at - I would've driven straight past and not even known about it.
We overshot the entry to this one on our way to Stanthorpe and were determined to find it on our way home. As we stopped, two of us got out in preparation to search,we went left as gps indicated but within 30 seconds, our driver and third member of our group called out we were going the wrong way as he had already found cache.
Sure enough he was right,we hadn't given gps long enough to settle and the needle was swinging back towards him,and cache.
It didnt take long to sign log and replace as found. We then proceeded to pay our respects to the few residents of this quiet little cemetery.
Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona.

This is my first cache from a round trip from Brisbane to Sydney return over the next 3 weeks. This is one of those places you say to yourself, I would not have known about this great spot if it wasn’t for caching. Found quickly. TFTC. Give a FP for the location.
Thanks for bringing us to this wonderful spot. We also are quite surprised by the well maintained graves. SL TFTC
Found on the way to brissy. Quick easy find. Signed log and replaced as found.tftc
What a lovely little cemetery, I seen lots if unkept ones but this one is neat and tidy. I was surprised to see the first grave I looked at was a lady born in the same year and same town as my Aunt only a few months difference. Quick easy find a NJ d paperwork completed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
On a start of a three night road trip from home to back home, never travelling the same road twice (well the major ones). I admit to being surprised with the cemetery, all these graves were relatively recent. I think there is another story to this spot which person someone more local can track down. Still it was interesting to see the personalisation of each of the graves, including an unopened bottle of beer. It might be that the while its a lonely spot, each of the residents is not forgotten.
OK, the cache container itself, as others have said its not sealing, and was full of water. The snaplock bag was wet as well. Unfortunately, I did not bring my proper caching kit with spares with me. I dried the container as best as I could, and left the logbook out of the snaplock, trying to get it to dry as much as possible. As its rite-in-the-rain paper it should be ok until it can be replaced.
Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona, such a great view from here.

I am out caching with Scratches today.
Today's mission was a cache in the middle of Maroon dam.
With that completed we had time to find a few more on our way home.
A quick find here and a tour of the grave sites.
Thanks for the cache.

Found on my way to visit Mumma Bear. I too had driven past this sign and wondered where it was. I am so glad to have been able to see this place. I left a pathtag.
Now living at Maryvale I thought that I should find the local caches. Quick find. Container does not seal anymore so bit water logged. I might replace container if okay? Tftc. Picked up TB as well.
Quick find just off the road. Beautiful little cemetery and view of the mountains. TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1315. A FP even before M even got out of the GeoPrado. She loves exploring cemeteries for the symbolism in the headstone carvings and the social history in the epitaphs. This one is very different, but quite special. Glad these pioneers are having a rest at last and are remembered. Our thanks to Aussie Liahona.
We're currently on an epic road trip that's taken us to Port Macquarie and Brisbane, and now to Broken Hill and Adelaide. Today we drove from Brisbane to Moree, stopping along the way only to grab a cache (or two) in each local government area we passed through, to help me qualify for a challenge I'm currently pursuing.
This was my Southern Downs find and it was a pretty straightforward one as we were able to drive pretty close to GZ. The people residing here certainly have a nice view, and I was impressed at how tidy and loved the placed was. I'm glad we had the opportunity to visit this cemetery, so thanks very much Aussie Liahona.

Arrived just as a funeral looked to be commencing shortly, so we certainly couldn’t linger. Thankfully, it was an easy find of this good condition cache. RIP
Well this is what would be called a geo comedy of errors! We missed the turnoff to Maryvale Tractor so turned off onto Day Rd, which brought us here. We used the cemetery as our turn around point & headed back to the tractor. We then loaded up our next hunt.... oh here... where we we'd just come from!! Of course there's a cache here!! So there should be. Cache container has been replaced & all is in good condition. Thanks for bringing us here Aussie Liahona & for the cache xo
Before going on a solo road trip to visit a friend in Warwick, I had a look at the geocaches I could get along the way. The logs for this one made it a priority and I'm glad! It was a very pretty stopover. TFTC
Came to Maryvale to grab the couple of caches here to fill the calendar. The temperatures were meant to soar today so I made the trip nice and early. I searched and searched and nothing. Something caught my eye and I realised the hide had become a victim of the lawn mower. As I was taking a photo of the poor cache I saw the log book on the ground still in tact! As this was just a quick trip I didn't have my geobag and no replacement cache. I did have another container but isn't water proof so hoping next finder might be able to help out. I love all this quiet little cemeteries you have helped me find Aussie Liahona
Found! Cute little cemetery- I love being taken to these beautiful hidden places!
Thank you!!
