Good fun cache. Fun on a late Sunday arvo with no curious muggles! Found with ArtintheWild.
Keeping it simple with a few geocache finds each day. Havent been to North Sydney for six months so lets start here. Did get wrong with one clue, however the checksum helped me identify the likely GZ. Oh, not the cache. Two logged their names here prematurely. Kept looking for the real one. And thats my 2228 find. Thanks Gaztek for giving this cache for everyone to solve in the field. Favourite point
Love the park, loved collecting the information, loved the caches, loved the metro trip here and loved the company. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to love all of that today! Favourite point from me!
Nice multi , need a little push from a previous finder but finally got the correct coordinates. Cache blends in quite well but one day the hide might be upgraded meanwhile a perfect hiding place . TFTC
After catching a train to North Sydney, we enjoyed a walk around this area. This was an enjoyable multi. GZ looked to be very difficult, but Sue looked across and noticed the nicely placed cache. Great. TFTC Gaztek
Sad to log a dnf and didnt understand what ebox was till we left we will come back another day soon and revenge this dnf
tftc, a beautiful memorial in an amazing little park. even though i live nearby i had never been here before so thank you for bringing me here!
21349During our great trip around the world we arrived in Australia after visiting Canada, US, and some places in the Caribean Sea and Central America as well as Fiji. Besides lots of sightseeing, we can't do without caching, of course. That's why we also passed by this place, searched for the cache, found it and successfully signed the logbook.Thank you for hiding and maintaining the cache. Only thanks to dedicated owners is this beautiful game possible.Wir danken alle Cache-Ownern fr ihren Einsatz, denn ohne die Gemeinschaft ist dieses tolle weltweite Hobby nicht zu realisieren.
Enjoyed the walk in the park admiring the mural etc. The cache looks old but helps disguise it! TFTC
Day 2: Lane Cove and North Sydney
Today’s plan was to strike north of the Harbour for two main reasons: to get the Lane Cove Virtual and to find a Letterbox cache in Sydney. The weather was lovely today, and despite walking almost 25k steps, it really didn’t feel like it, and I return to the city a really happy cacher
(End of the cut and paste section)
A nice little wander round the Civic Park, and the clues were most easily gotten. I made a small mistake in the calculations initially, and was left with a bit of head-scratching, but I figured out the mistake, and I was on my way. The final was a cheeky one, and well hidden. Kudos for such a nice cache, and a touching tribute to a friend and mentor. TFTC!

Very clever and sneaky hide. Second time here, did the multi again to check if I had the right numbers, I’m glad I did because I got the first one wrong, I felt really dumb with that. Finally got the right numbers and headed over to the GZ, finally figured out what the clue meant, found the first equation of the cache then second part was the easiest.
Glad to have found this after a dnf. We are on consecutive days. Was a bit tricky, but mastered it. Going to see our new granddaughter now.
I’m back visiting from Brisbane and spent the day on the North Shore finding 16 caches plus 2 DNFs. Solved this yesterday but it was too busy. So arrived early for a quick find. Well camouflaged. And a nice little park. Tftc
Out for a Sunday early morning cycle. Had previously worked out the coordinates but it wasn’t the ideal time then, so this morning hit the wps and made the find. Log book full so I added a new strip of write in the rain log paper. Thanks for placing this multi cache Gaztec. #1518
Swung by here tonight with the Shakespeare multi in mind but started gathering clues for this one instead as I was on the wrong side of the road. Great camo and a quick find with the hint TFTC

A nice little multi in North Sydney. Waypoint information was clear and the cache was found once I identified the right object.

The review from the nine-year-old team member is:
A multi stage cache that is hard to find, but when you do you feel really satisfied.

Did a bit of preparation for this one. Which mean’t not really, as I wandered around aimlessly. So did some more research in logs etc. and had a much better idea of what to look for and there it was. A very clever hide. Thanks for the cache.

This form has long been one of my neglected, too many fat finger moments but none of those today and the numbers were quickly rounded up.
Got a surprise at the coordinates then quickly onto the ending.
Thanks for the short run around.

Took me a couple of times coming back to find this but happy to be successful in the end
Thanks Gaztek. Lovely cache to mark 150 finds. Really good camouflage in the final container. Got a surprise what we found after solving the puzzles around the park because we thought there would be something else. Really good multi cache.
Did this in a few trips. First got the coords, then came back and spotted the cache, then came back and logged it. Washed my hands each time. TFTC!
With my car in for a service today i decided to take the train to North Sydney today to find a multi id had my eye on for a while now.
Finding the information turned out to be fairly easy. The only one i had even a tiny bit of trouble with was the phone box and that was because i suffered from a bout of selective blindness for a minute.
With the coords in hand i headed for the GZ. I located the clue right away but it took me a couple of minutes to find the cache itself.
For a high traffic part of the city it is actually hidden in a good place.
Thanks.

TFTC. Great little one close to work. Checksum in hint seems to be out but coordinates spot on. Quick find
Very busy with the markets going on, but did not interfere with cache experience. Some quick calculations and voila

Excellent cache. Enjoyed my wander around the park. The markets were on but luckily all wpts were visible. Nice spot after parkrun up the road. Found the extra hint, very clever and then a well camoed cache. I met Hunter Finder a few times at gca events. Sad that he's gone.
Nice that you've kept his memory alive.
Nice that you've kept his memory alive.
I remember Hunter-Finder from gatherings when I moved back to Sydney and joined the local caching community. Tim was always a great person to chat with. Unluckily I never had any luck with the original incarnation of this as it was always muggled when I visited the area.
Today despite being on leave I had to come down to Crows Nest for a service call so decided some local caching was in order. Had a bit of fun at the mural trying to spot the school girls, it is starting to fade a bit. But soon had what I thought was the right information, and headed over to the final location which had looked unpromising on the map but seemed better once at GZ. The on to the final part after the Part 2 hint. Thanks Gaztek. Logbook is almost full.

Had collected the required information on an early morning walk a couple of days ago, however when visiting the 'final' coordinates yesterday the area was too busy with muggles to attempt the find. Returned early this morning and quickly located the container, only to realize that there was another step involved. After a bit of a search the final hiding spot was located and the log duly signed. Thanks for the multi cache Gaztek.
My third multi to find around North Sydney this arvo. And a pleasant time it was had, gathering the info in this park, while the evening food festival was setting up.
I quickly gathered the data, then found a spot to sort out the coords. I was uncertain of a couple at first, but took a chance and headed over to the WP. Found the extra hint, and soon had CIH nearby. Sat down to sign, replaced then back to the park to grab some dinner while the band entertained the growing crowd. A very nice place to visit, and good timing on my behalf. My lucky day in lots of ways! TFTC

About time I signed this. With an office in North Sydney, I was a regular visitor from Canberra, but haven't had an overnight stay all year. Finally, staying a 100m away, I grabbed some dinner then went to the first stop. Soon, I had cache in hand for the signing duties.
I recall it was a pleasant stroll around the little park collecting the info. TFTC Gaztek. Have a fave.

Realised that we hadn’t found the final cache yesterday; we missed the final step! Rectified it this morning and signed the log. And met the owner of it!! Good to meet you, Gaztek. TFTC.
I got up for an early morning walk around the area near where I am staying to find a few caches. Nice multi - with a twist in the tail as well. I didn't have any problems finding the features or information required to get the numbers for the next stage. All good in the end too. TFTC, Biggles.

Hoping for a few finds today, and decided to target North Sydney- as it tends to be pretty dead on a Sunday afternoon.
Well, that was mostly the case, but the occasional random muggle was still on hand to get in the way now and then.
Still, I found the two Traditionals and two Multis I went for.
But of course, the Frog messed me up. Again. On arrival at my first target I see a new cache had been published close to home. It was still I logged as I neared home so diverted. But just as I get close the First2Find goes off. At least I was able to say hello to them, as they hadn’t left yet. So close. Decided to leave it for another day when I need a quick find.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
I’d not got around to grabbing the original incarnation of this one before it went AWOL. And it’s still taken me a while to get around to this one.
Quite a few muggles around, but at least in the info gathering phase it’s not an issue. So got my answers, crunched the numbers and had a logical GZ.
Of course there still some muggles but none had a view of GZ - which of course I initially walked straight past. Checked a number of wrong spots before coming back and spotting it.
Made the grab and took away to complete signing duties. Then back for the replace.
RIP Tim.

After 'Angels - The Return' we headed to the park at North Sydney Community Centre for this cache. The various clues were collected, and after having calculated the final coordinates, we headed in between some buildings to find the final location.
I returned today to North Sydney for another batch of smilies and this involved some sleuthing about the park. A huge number of snails at the waypoint.

Nice little multi. Bit of a head Stratch towards the end but then geo sense kicked in and wasn't too long till CIH. TFTC
Last time I went looking for this a while back I came up empty handed even though I figured my coords were correct. I messaged CO to validate my coords since there's no checker, and we must've gotten our wires crossed since CO said my coords needed some work but turns out they were right all along after a second check today and there was just a stage missing previously. Looking back now at the logs, I can see it was replaced and I managed to pick up this multi after North Sydney Parkrun this morning.

Loved the walk in the park. Got as far as the hint, but didn't manage to go beyond that as it was truly dark. Will be back! TFTC
I recall finding a previous incarnation of this cache several years ago, and due to it's sentimental nature it seemed fitting to find it again and pay respects (after a nearby failed FTF attempt). The requirement information was gathered and while I wasn't entirely confident I had it all right, after a bit of a look around GZ, I expanded my search just slightly and something caught my eye, soon thereafter had CIH. Love the cache construction, I'm planning some hides using a similar technique. SL and replaced as found. TFTC Gaztek!
Cache check today. Replaced a step that had gone missing. Remember to log a DNF if you can't find the cache. Happy Hunting! Cheers... Gaztek
Heading towards 600 by NYE. Got to the park and gathered all the info. Got to GZ and quickly had Cache in.... nope! Decoy! Using the the hint I thought I found it but had to wait out muggles. Finally I got to inspect but it turns out it was a legit sprinkler. 1 PAF later, I finally made the find. Great Cache, great location and a great camo. I passed it several times and missed it, once you know where it is, it sticks out. Favourite point from me. Cache# 598 TFTC
Down to watch WBBL at North Sydney Oval.Had a bit of a problem in that we found the decoy but did not read the whole of the contents, so did not find the cache. There were muggles everywhere - it was the middle of the day on Saturday - so we retreated and returned early Sunday morning - not a soul in sight. Had read the logs overnight and realised we had missed something, so back to the site to get the clue then Bingo!! but not before we had put a hand on the cache and moved on. Really well camouflaged - gets a favorite from us! TFTC
Walked around with Happy Jackie and quickly solved GZ location. Found the hint and the cache. Thanks.
Previously logged under team account BoogieRogue. Re-logging with my individual account. Had a nice walk in the park finding out the necessary numbers. Worked out the coords for GZ, only to find the extra bit of info at electric box. Had CIH soon after

I never knew Hunter-Finder, except in a virtual sense, via the original For TimE and a voice recording he left at a cache on the Lane Cove River. I was a bit uncertain about a couple of numbers but they all came together nicely. Thanks for keeping this alive Gaztek.
Walked up the hill all thaway from Milsons Point. Found the eBox hint and then the hide. Wow - there were muggles all around, but no one was interested. TFTC.

Headed towards North Sydney with geoWife to attempt a couple of multis. This was the first of three. Info was gathered quickly on this cold windy morning. Found clue in first spot that we checked but then took a bit longer to find the final cache container nearby. I looked at the right object but geoWife made the discovery. SL and discovered quite a few of the pages had come loose. Returned everything as found

Not quick enough. Oldmorty and I walked around the park to find answers to clues and worked out coords for GZ. (Must be my morning for these types of caches. Just did Franklin's Legacy - to be beaten by oldmorty). Got clue from eBox. Oldmorty found cache. TFTC
Lovely little park on a glorious winter sunny Sunday morning. After running around the park, me with pen and paper in hand and frazeydaze calling the numbers we found a bench in the sun and did the number crunching. After walking to GZ frazeydaze grabbed the next hint from under my nose whereupon I had the last laugh by grabbing the prize from under her nose. TFTC gaztec it was fun.
This has been on the to do list for some time. A chilly winters Sunday and a stroll around he park. Crunched the numbers and wandered to GZ to find a nicely camo'd cache. TFTC Gaztek.
#1527 Final of four finds on a beautiful afternoon caching around my local area. Found after short search. Loved the mural. TFTC
I decided to hop off the train a few stops earlier, take the scenic route in to work and see if I could grab a couple of caches on the way. Walked to "Blasting Blueberries!!" first then carried on to North Sydney to complete this one. I had gathered the necessary information at lunchtime on Friday, had fun wandering around the park and also made use of the exercise equipment to mix up my usual lunchtime fitness routine. Had to wait till I was back in the office today to complete this one. There weren't too many people passing by GZ this morning and I was able to make a quick find. SL, TFTC Gaztek!
Coming from the Netherlands this was my 2nd find in Australia. Thanks for showing me this little park, which was just around the corner from my hotel.

I stopped by this park to discover that a Scottish Highland dancing competition was in full swing... on Aus day! Quite a crowd here that were fully mesmorised by the kicks and steps, that is for sure. I had no trouble locating the various WPs, although I was not convinced that I had the right answer for D. Anyhow, I had a best guess as to where the final location was and found the hint quite quickly and then onto retrieving the cache. A well constructed multi that drew my attention to some interesting features of the area. TFTC
As I had to drop a car for service at Waitara and it was going to take a while, I decided to take the train down to North Sydney to attempt this multi. I was relieved to find it much cooler closer to the harbour. Hornsby was stifling.
I enjoyed the tour around the park, marvelling at the mural, and loved the little twist at the end.
It's a fitting tribute to a pioneering geocacher, thanks Gaztek.

Nice multi to start the year. Found the additional hint first which lead us easily to the cache. TFTC
Soon leaving Sydney, our family visit is coming to an end, so it was time to get this one. I had gathered the clues last week and the coords looked plausible. Last school run today and we were early so it was perfect timing to get the cache.
With the rain, GZ was practically deserted, which helped. Excellent hint and the cache was soon in hand
Thank you Gaztek for taking care of this cache in honour of your friend. Nice one and a FP for the concept

In between meetings this was close so we headed over and soon started to gather up the information from teh various waypoints nearby. We soon had some co ords and made our way to GZ. A check for muggles and then the hide was spotted. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Although I have been working in the area for the last five months, I had not ventured to this park before. It is a very busy place during the lunch time break but I was still able to gather the required information easily and the GZ turned out to be well away from most prying eyed muggles. TFTC.
Yay! After sadly finding this one muggled a little while back I was glad to see out come back online and not archived. No need to recalculate for me, and the final turned my frown upside down after locating the distraction! Haha. Cheers guys! FP awarded.

Hey Gaz, unfortunately this one is muggled.
Took the Mrs out for a Poke-hunt last night yet somehow mysteriously ended up in the park... can't think why Solved the clues while she sat happily under a lure and made my way to GZ. First thing I spotted was a TB on the ground. Saw where the cache should have been but no container could be seen. A dig through the garden bed uncovered a few more treasures which were obviously ex-cache contents but no logbook was found. I collected the TB and the trinkets. Will replace them once the cache is returned, but I'll move on the TB soon.

I remember meeting Hunter-Finder once, and I remember doing the original tribute cache. Today, I came back and parked nearby. The multi was easy to follow, and very straightforward. Well except maybe for F! So with GZ in hand I walked over and spied the cache on approach as one side wasn't clamped down properly. There were muggles nearby, but I managed to get it and hide around the corner to SL and discover the TB's. I packed it up and replaced it just as two local schoolboys arrived. Now I don't think they saw what I did, but if they did it may have looked sus. Another good little multi tribute Gaztek, well done and RIP HF, TFTC.
I don't do very many multis as I find they end up being a lot of back and forth and retracing steps. This one is within walking distance from home, well sort of if you want a really long walk so I thought I'd give it a go as I had previously found the original, my twelfth cache and the park nearby is nice anyway.
Earlier in the week geopuppy and I came here and found all the necessary WPs were in view and a plan of attack which required no backtracking was made. All the clues were found and we headed back home. Today we came here again, via a different route and found the cache. Having a dog at GZ was a big help. As he sniffed around I was able to look in, on, around, under and really everywhere without looking sus, cache was spied, retrieved and I sat nearby to do the signing duties. Another puppy arrived and after a bit of a play he left and I was able to replace the cache.
We headed home via my favourite cake shop.
A successful mission!
