Thankfully this was a quick find with Kaz444, temperature getting up to 37 degrees in the Upper Hunter and nearly ready to call it a day. TFTC
Find# 12249Nice quick find. The logbook was returned to the cache upside down, so it took quite a time to extract the logbook.Cache is in great condition. TFTC Rock_Dok
Found today several metres from GZ. Replaced at GZ. Thanks for this cache - a great spot!

Took a bit of a search but found in the end. The previous log helped with the coords being a bit off. Didn't have to wander through much long grass thankfully. TFTC!!! #2297
3 coalies went through as i was searching. Ended up being 6 posts away from gz. TFTC.
No find today unfortunately. But with the heat today I dont want to be out all day looking. Will have to come back when its cooler
Find #1727After failing to find this a few months ago came back today to fill in a date on my calendar and convert a sad face into a yellow face. TFTC
Found while we were talking about whether it was still here. Cache in good condition. Tftc
Found with Peppa.
We are in town for the weekend for the Australian Great Cattle Dog Muster.

Thanks for the cache
First full day of The Great Cattle Dog Muster, and PirateLinda has finally arrived to join me…
After spending the day watching Championship Shows, cattle & sheep mustering, dog sports & hundreds of dogs there was still time for a couple of caches…
A quick find as the container was clearly visible… we returned it a little lower on the feature…
Thanks Rock_Dok

So nice to avenge a DNF. Log signed and we were on our way. Thanks for the geo-fun.

I originally found this one back in 2017 and must say it’s disappointing the original cache went missing, I remember it being a very cool little homemade one. Did find a playing card though
Gotcha - Found with a bit of searching. Had trouble extricating log as staple had rusted. Tftc
Found it!! It definitely blends in with the scenery, try and not think bout it to much
Another quick park and grab on a quiet afternoon. It certainly blends well. As we have seen a number of these it was spotted very quickly.
Thanks for the hide Rock_Dok.
Thanks for the hide Rock_Dok.
We searched for the first time a while ago but had no luck. The second time we were searching for a while but we eventually found it. very sneaky and certainly does blend in with the scenery! TFTC
Quick find but dropped when I touched it requiring a low squeeze extraction. Log all good. Tftc.
A quick find on an early morning wander around Muswellbrook; a clever hide. Thanks for the cache Rock Dok
In town for the weekend, in between rain showers and social activities we did a quick trip around town to get few local caches.
This one was corroded into the container but was soon able to etch my name in the log.
Thanks

Found it with BillHill531. Up targeting the Muswellbrook area today and have of a looming lockdown. Good hide TFTC Roc_Dok.
Found with Shaneo58, we came up targeting 2 specific caches around the Singleton area, and a circuit around Muswellbrook. Getting the news in the morning that we need to be home before 5 o'clock as there is an other lockdown, this means we won't be back for a good while as this is well and truly outside the 5km area from home. Tricky little hide, lucky I had seen some of these before.
Cache signed and replaced as found.
**Thanks For The Cache** Rock_Dok.
This is the 9th cache of 14 for today making a grand total of 3287 at 1:02PM on this Thursday the 5th of August in the Year 2021

So, I grabbed my geodog Scruffy, thru geodad Whitey Wiskas in the car and headed ur way to find a few caches further afield.
And this was one of them ...
All Good .. TFTC ..

A nice interesting cache to find with ilook4geo while heading south again. No muggles around. Both names were signed on the log before all was replaced as found. Thank you to Rock_Dok for placing this cache.
On a short trip with goingplaces2 and caching along the way. This is one of the caches we found. This is a well hidden cache. Log signed, all replaced. TFTC.

On our way to Scone before heading into Barrington Tops, we managed 16 finds, including 7 FTFs, and another 6 GA finds for a great day on the road.
I missed this on the first inspection, before spotting on look #2.... then it took at least 5 minutes to extract the log, some moisture has penetrated and it was adhering really nicely. Bring fine needle nose pliers.... TFTC!

Found with partner 10:20 am on our last minute trip to Muswellbrook and Aberdeen. Great match to the surroundings where located. The log book is full though, I scratched my name into small spot. I did need to look twice and a bit better than the first time.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
We weren't sure about this one, due to the recent DNF, but we found the cache and signed the log. It's well camouflaged, luckily we spotted it quickly or we might have been searching for a while. TFTC!
20,341. Found with albida33 during a meander up to and around the Tamworth and Armidale regions.
After heading off early this morning we were cherry-picking caches heading towards Scone for the night. This was the next stop and find of the trip. Parked at GZ for a quick find.
TFTC Rock_Doc !!

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 1. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway. We were headed to Tamworth but only made it as far as Scone on the first day. It was a long day of driving with caching only in the afternoon.
Thanks.

Found it! Always loved trains! This was awesome coalie came straight past as soon as we got there! Watched it go by for a bit then found it! No need for fence jumping! Totally worth a heart!! TFTC
Found with Beary_Unicorns, just Miss Bear with me today. I actually beat Miss Bear to finding this oned, my first for the day. Visited TBs, Tftc.
Enjoyed a couple of days away with my wife. (It was really an excuse to do a bit of Geocaching).
Thank goodness the coords were spot on or we would have missed this one. TFTC

Wasn't quite where we expected it to be at first but the co ordinates had us soon where we needed to be. Soon had CIH when Mrs horsey spotted it.
Our 9th today on mr & mrs horsey's second day of kid-free caching. TFTC

We arrived in Muswellbrook late in the day and pulled into the showgrounds and after unhitching the caravan we headed out to find the creative caches that we had been told about. We were not disappointed and had a fun few hours finding this and other novel caches. Fav point alloc. Thank Rock_Dok for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
We are heading from Brisbane to Bright in Victoria, caching as we go, wherever it is safe to pull up with the caravan. We left Brisbane on 3rd Jan and don't have to be in Bright til the end of the month. Today's drive takes us from our camp at Burning Mountain to Musswellbrook.
We parked the van and went for a drive around town without it. I was checking out rusty nails, when Mr D found the cache. Thanks Rock_Dok

Really impressed with this one didn’t find it for ages it seemed but eventually got it
I like these ones! Lots of good cache hides in Muswellbrook! Log has got wet in this one at some point and was difficult to get out but able to be signed.

nice hide, something long and pointy helps get the log out of the container if its been pushed in too far.
Woohoo! Found it! First of this type of cache we have found and think it's very novel! My son loves that it's close to the train tracks and we are currently on the bridge waiting to see if we can watch a train go by, though I don't think so as it's getting dark and it's a Sunday.... and as I'm typing that the passenger train goes past!

I liked how the fence posts along here are old pieces of track. No trains went past, but that's okay, I've seen plenty of them over the years.
Thanks

I looked in the right spot, but for a second I thought it wasn't there. Then I refocused and saw what should have been obvious from the first instant. Thanks
Found it a bit tricky to cross the road here to GZ safely, think we should have parked on the other side. A quick find was made of a hide type that is becoming more common and thus more recognizable. Did like the way the pin was secured in to the top of this one, that will hopefully make those rotten cachers who put rolls in the bottom of the containers and not the tops think twice!!!
A coal train did pass as we were here but after having to wait this morning for an hour for a stationary train to move on so we could search for Antiene Bus Shelter we were sort of over them!!
Thanks.

Staying for a few days in Upper Hunter valley, and after some wine tasting it was time for some geocaching in the area. Aberdeen was close to our b&b, so that was the logic choice for the day.
Hey, another Coalie! I thought they would only be in Aberdeen. Well...I guess not!
Thanks for the cache.
