After waiting for walkers to pass I quickly jumped in and grabbed this one. I 'm not sure my hayfeaver will hold off much longer! TFTC!
I suspect today is one of those days where I'm. It going to make easy finds easy!! TFTC, git it:-)
TFTC. I decided to take the puppy for a wander up Worsley's Rd. The rain had stopped and the sun was shining. It was beautiful to be up here. Fairly muddy underfoot with reasonable surface water visible.
Thanks TwoSharpe for placing the cache.

#12198. I overshot this one slightly, and by the time I turned around Troodles was already at GZ, and quickly found the cache. TFTC.
We thought we should take advantage of the good weather (and what a fabulous day it was too) and walk up the Worsley Track today before it closes for logging. It's been a while since we were last in the area and it looks like urban sprawl is creeping up here as well.
We were surprised at numbers of vehicles parked here and further up the track, but there were even more on our return later in the afternoon. Waited for a couple who were coming down the hill to pass us before making the find. TFTC.

With the news about the park. My sister and I thought it was time to do these so off we went.
A nice easy find - thank you - No TB

With news of the impending changes around this area, my sister and I (with daughter in tow) decided to knock off what caches we could.
An easy find in a popular area. Found, signed and returned. Thanks for the cache.

Realised we had walked past it on the way up so it was a quick find once we got back down from the track.
With news of the potential temporary closure of the forest surrounding this track, I decided to head up the track today to clear out the caches here just in case they are affected by the nearby development. Was joined by Lyttelton Witch and Bigglespoonies. Thanks for the cache, and the series of caches places here.
Easy find right next to the parking... TFTC Definitely no trackable, its long gone, assuming it was ever there....
Righto, time to go for my first walk up here. Parked up at 2:30 and cache in hand a minute later - awesome. Cheers

A stunning day today. And I had a volunteering shift tonight, so seeing as that meant it was necessary to find caches on the lunch break, decided to go for a walk somewhere up the hills, making the most of the lovely weather, and find a few.
Picked Worsleys Track, as there were quite a few new ones here since last time I'd been up, and lunch break could be long enough to drive this far.
Grabbed mum, and off we went.
First one. Nice easy quick one.

TFTC!!
Since it was a lovely warm sunny day, we decided to go for a lunchtime walk with daughter. Ideal weather to be out and about! The road looks a bit weathered even for a 4WD! We went as far as feasible before daughter was due back for a meeting. Great place, TFTC!!
This looks like a great series so setting off on a beautiful still day. Hope it doesn't get too hot! Quick find and an encouraging start - Tftc. Off to find more...
Had arranged to meet Sharkiefan here to give her a ride to the start of her walk so had to get the cache before leaving. Caching with Nanzie over the time of the mega so most logs have been signed as PC & N or something similar TFTC

We picked up Paddle Chicks friend Sarah and took her up to the signing of the kiwi as she was going to walk down the port hills. While we were there we did this cache .tftc
Decided to do some exercise today. So pulled up here. Hopefully going to get a lift around to the other side and make my way back to the car here. Just waiting for my ride. Thought TwoSharpe might like this. Never would have considered it a while back. Tftc
Reperio at 0710.
I headed out this way to grab a newly published cache this morning, and so stopped by a couple on the way back down. This was the last cache I visited in this neck of the woods...as I needed to get to Lyttleton to catch the ferry in a couple of hours to head over to Quail Island. This was a lovely area of forest to go for a walk this morning.
Gratias TwoSharpe.

Getting near the end (or start) of the track now and only a few to get at this end now. Then it will be back up.......Hmmmm all uphill ohman. Cheers for the cache.
Parked nearby on a wetish mornng lannng to go up Worseleys Spur and find some caches. Quick fin for this one. TFTC.
Heading further up the ridge venturing passed the built up area. A 4 legged little local let me know this was his turf. Managing my way passed him I nabbed the prize ..signed the log TFTC TwoSharpe, from TeamMcI, 26 May 2015 13:50, cache number #849!
After the storm last night the morning dawned clear and this enticed me to go visit all the avian species now resident near Worsley's Track. Nice quick visit to the yellow eyed penguin. Thanks for the cache.
First of the day, pretty quiet around GZ.
A lovely day for a walk on the Port Hills. Plenty of caches up Worsley's Spur.
Thanks for the hide.

I am so glad I saved this one for a busy day. I had work today and am still trying to keep my streak going.
There aren't many unfound caches left near my home.
I love the series and look forward to finding the other two left for me to do on the walkway soon.

Out for an early morning walk, Suprised to already see a couple of cars in the carpark, Some guy,s getting ready for some serious mountain biking. TFTC Cheers Bo
Thank you for the nice series, it made an otherwise not to pleasant track quite enjoyable. TFTC
Thought we'd have a walk rather than sitting at home on a miserable weather day. This was a quick find. TFTC.
Thought, "Not that stuff!"--- but too experienced to locate in there. Wet feet but that's our fault for going out in the rain. Thanks.
A nice start for the series. My heart sank when I saw the predominant vegetation at the site, but you were Two Sharp to chuck your cache under a flaxbush.
Cheers and many thanks,
S.t.

TFTC Thanks for the walk under the pines. Tested my GPS under the pines, its works better than the old one I had.
{FTF}! A dot day done and a FTF to boot. I saw the notification come through before breakfast but couldn't duck out just yet. Had breakfast and waited for Mrs Rincewind to head to work and then I was free to pop out before the rain and fill in a dot day. I thought I'd just check if there were any logs on this new cache and found none so... A quick 6km drive later and I was within walking distance of the cache. Still no logs. So far so good. I wandered down to the start of the tracks and made my way to the GZ. Had a wee smile when I saw where my navigation had let me down and popped 'over' to get the cache. Given how bitterly cold the wind was I was stoked to be rewarded with a blank log sheet.

Saw the cache published early morning but waited till Chelzea finished work for us to grab this as our daily cache. We had cleared out the track and area a few weeks ago and despite expecting more to appear decided on this one anyway. Nice easy find in the end and when we got home there was another published up the track...typical haha. TFTC
Out and about on a cold blusterty monday nights adventure with TheWanglers. After a successful FTF with the newly published Wherigo...and the rain kind of holding off (well; it wasn't pouring!), and TW's 300th FTF milestone close to hand we decided to head up the hill and try for the couple new ones in this series.
Pulled up next to GZ; started the search and TW made the find. Drove up the road/track a bit further before parking up. Cheers.

Out and about on this freezing cold wintery night with TG to mop up some of the new horsey puzzles out Rangers way. We were dressed for the ocassion. About fifteen layers, I was wearing three hats and had the gummies on. It wasn't cold enough to wear shorts though . We had seen the there was a cache up Worsleys Road earlier in the evening and had plans to grab the one published earlier today but we headed out to Rangers in hope that the weather would ease before we headed up the hill in the dark, stormy night. I had a cache published and then a few more came out too. We headed to GZ to grab this one and access our ascent options. Nice quick find in the sleet and hail.
Thanks for the cache.
