5 May 2024 3:27 pmFound my way down here without actually crossing the barrier but couldn't get close without breaking into the no access zone
Had a look between Muggle bird watchers and even brought in the human ladder
Called in on this one this arvo, damn, it's gone too! Second one today needing replacement. New cache now in place. Happy hunting.
Another nice find in this gorgeous location, we've been here heaps of times, could definitely stay a while
Had to wait a while for people to leave. Went and had a bite to eat nearby and on return the coast was clear. TFTC
We made a detour on our way back from the Downs to pick up a few caches that have hidden dates we need to collect. We have been wanting to visit College's Crossing, so thank you for bringing us here. It's lovely.
Last one today. We enjoyed this one. We were hunting around, trying to look unobvious to the numerous muggles. The parrots and honeyeaters on the grevilleas helped with that. We were having no luck, until I thought to look up the tennis player. (I was looking for the Cash dispenser...) After that, it was a quick but surreptitious grab. Thanks, TrickyT
Not to hard but still a fun find. Pretty neat little container as well.
A pleasure to meet CO at the event this morning, had to leave early but made time for a stop here on my way home with the L plater
Thank you for hiding this geocache and keeping me entertained TrickyT

Mini geovengers were upset they couldn’t find it, but lucky I’m so tall Tftc
A day of 'fishing' and decided to give this a go. One hint gave a good rip on how to find. Great spot. TFTC!
Due to this being muggle Central on a sunday, I spent quite some time ‘birdwatching’ in between searching. Not that I mind, being a True bird-nerd anyway.
Had to stretch to my full 170 cm length to put the feelers out and then... Yes!! TFTC!

Good hide & great spot for our feathery friends. They were nice and noisy today.
Tftc. Came up for a walk and found a cache. Too old for this though. Sheeeeesh.
Vertically challenged. Muggles having breakfast close by, plus not keen on putting my hand amongst the locals houses. This will have to be a search for another time.
I’ve lived in Brisbane for quite awhile and I’ve never been here before... tftc TrickyT...

Got off the river too late to make the grab so came back today in the light.
Many birds to see here.

I have bowed to the suggestions that the difficulty rating should be higher so I've bumped it up a notch. I think the difficulty issue is due to finders putting it back in more difficult spots. I myself had difficulty getting it a couple of times due to this factor. Please place where it can be reached by everyone but not seen.
Heading to Ipswich to visit my Dad. Nearly 12 mths now since he moved to a care facility and I try to knock over a cache or 2 on the way to or from visiting him.
This has exposed me to a few Tricky cache and as always i had to dig deep to locate this one. I must agree with others that the D?T rating should be a litle higher on this one. Good Cache and location. A passing shower meant i had to spend an extra 15 minutes here before moving on to the next Tricky challenge.

Looked hard and we spotted a tell tale note but too many people turned up to effectively search.
Man I was thinking Pat Cash and looking for an ATM. The wife set me straight.
Certainly harder than 1.5

Well the name TrickyT isn’t for nothing! This one surely was a bit tricky. Felt like we looked everywhere on this structure until Mr Krispy Kreme filmed on his phone with the light & found the little bugger! Gotcha! TFTC
Found on our 2019 mega trip from NSW to QLD for winter with Roostaman.
Thanks for the cache TrickyT,

**# 24859** Found on our 2019 winter escape trip to Qld.
Another fine sunny Winter day for a drive around Ipswich with Mrs Roosta.
Not many muggles around today and a few good safe hides.
I think the T rating could be a bit higher on this one.
Thanks for the cache TrickyT,

Tftc. Was just about to walk off after 45 minutes but thought I'd give it one last try. Really quite difficult to get to, not for people any shorter than 173cm will have no chance in reaching.
Mrs VC was keen for a drive & to grab a few more smilies and who am I to argue?
Parked the Geo-Beast within rock throwing distance of GZ & Mrs VC headed over to claim the find.
I sat in the car watching her & a guy with a Nikon camera sporting a 500mm lens was standing beside the car next to me also watching Mrs VC quite closely.
I distracted him by asking what type of camera & size lens he had & after he responded I launched into a dissertation on the benefits of a good camera especially while birdwatching or similar & informed him that my wife & I both had Canon cameras & a wide range of lenses & other accessories which we had taken all up & down the east coast photographing a wide variety of birds & other wildlife.
While he did show interest he changed the topic & said "I was just watching that lady over there & wondering what she is doing."
Well actually …
That's my wife & we are geocachers.
"Oh, geocaching, yes I know what that is." he said & proceeded to tell me what it was all about.
Luckily he was short on time & had to leave.
Mrs VC returned, a little frustrated, & said she couldn't find it, perhaps it was missing?
I walked over, took a quick look, grabbed the cache, made our mark & replaced as found.
Sorry darl! LOL …
We ALL have our good & bad days,

Found with stairman1 and geopuppy. Decided to come for a drive out here to grab some of the CO’s caches. There was a muggle sitting close by so I distracted him while stairman1 did the deed. Beautiful spot. A favourite point from me
Beautiful spot out here today. Managed to grab the cache ok. But goldielover had to distract the muggle who would not move on.
All is well with your cache

After a bit of patience and a sore neck from looking up, we found it! Glad one of us is an Amazonian. TFTC!
I had a huge weekend. So many people and conferences and speaking and it was anything but recharging. I declared today to be a recovery day of quiet and slowness. Which it almost was, but of course I got drawn into work which involved meetings and people and thinking. But late this afternoon I got out to spend time alone. A long drive and a walk for an old geocache had me picking a route home. I declared to go via Colleges Crossing.
For a long time I was wandering around aimlessly, watching the birds go about their evening activity, watching the water pour under the bridge and precious few people to be seen at all. After a while I found myself at the bird hide out of interest and lack of direction. I figured there must be a geocache in this park somewhere, so pulled out the app. Generally the internet is turned off when I'm out and about. Sure enough, there is one right here. Metres away. And by TrickyT. Sure, I'll have a look.
There wasn't a lot of searching happen, maybe I'm just physically designed for such hides. I quickly found it and at this point recalled I hadn't grabbed a pen. That's what i get for not planning to find a geocache. Photo it is! I replaced all as found and slowly wended my way back to the car. I was getting hungry and dinner beckons. Thanks for this geocache, a nice bonus for my afternoon TrickyT

Nice hide. Log full but managed to find a space to sign. Thank you very much for the cache.
Searched High and Low alas there were places simply out of reach for us. Have a fair idea of where but will need the help of taller friends I think.
Victory!!! Discovered the little bugger moments after geohubby admitted defeat mwah ahaha!
Me and my family went for a breakfast walk and we decided to go cashing so we went to this one it took as a while to find it but than my dad found it he was so proud
Dropped in on the way home from work. Used my phone to look in places I didn’t want to put my hand. Soon spied it. TFTC
A short stop on my commute home. I like this area and haven't been here for many years. Luckily there were not many people about so I could search without an audience.
After contemplating the hide I found the cache, all safe and sound. Put my name in the book and re-hid.
Thanks

We've been looking for this cache for years! Great to have finally found it. TFTC
