Visiting Wollombi for Sculptures in the Vineyards. Taking a drive out to Laguna. Parked safely on side of ride and found the cache. TFTC
#2640A not so quick park and grab during my road trip back to Sydney from Mudgee.. had to move the big black and red guardian TFTC
Staying in the area for several days and today went for a bit of a drive on this drizzly day. Didn't have to worry about too much traffic ... just one or two passed by. All in good shape. TNLNSL.TFTC ...
Headed from Gosford to Wollombi for a wedding. Made sure we left in time to grab some caches along the way.Cheers

Last one for today another easy find and everything is looking good. This logbook was almost empty! TFTC and the motorbike knowledge
Was back in the area so have put out a replacement systema and taking the unloved.
While this series isn’t my cup of tea, I understand some people would really love what it stands for so happy to help out.

Last stop before we hit the town of our goal today. This was a nice outlook, looking over Wollombi Brook. TFTC.
Found 4:22 pm with partner. On another small something to do road trip with partner, I decided spur of the moment to head out to Wollombi Tavern and have her try out Dr Jurds jungle juice. We ended up with a large bottle of it. So of course when I got the chance and on the return journey I had to try and find some caches. Although my partner tended to stay in the geovehicle I did get a bit of participation from her.
This cache was a quick find, signed the log and returned the cache to its hiding spot.
Thanks for the cache.

Well, this is the most caches I’ve grabbed in a day for a while. And I needed to watch the clock so I could be back at the SCG in time for tonight’s NRL game.
I’d noted the 360 badge recently added to BadgeGen, and was a bit low on numbers near 0 degrees. Interestingly, I could fill in a few spots by driving to Wollombi. So I did!
Of course your numbers for this are only as good as your current home base - move and you start again. But I have no intention of moving anywhere anytime soon.
Went for 16 and found 15 of them.
And part way through I started following Riokun around. Or maybe we were going in opposite directions.
But a good day. Now to sit back and watch some footy.

Vždycky, když jdu na kešku,
celý lov si užívám.
Říkám si, že po dnešku,
další bodík mám.
Hledat krabku lehké není,
pár jsem jich už odlovil.
Někdy je to utrpení,
ani nevím, kde jsem byl.
Těším se na příští výzvu,
další poklad odloven.
Kamaráda vždycky přizvu,
děkuje ti Stohowen.
Rád mám hlavně tradičku,
ta moc času nežere.
Obtížnost má jedničku,
zaloguj ji kačere.
Mysterka či multina,
mozek mi vždy zaměstná.
někdy je to rutina,
Obtížnost je pověstná.
Deset stovek mám za sebou,
snad to zvládnu brzy zas.
Cestičkou jdu vždycky slepou,
už mě volá lovu hlas.
Vyrážím vstříc dalším keškám,
na krabky jsem jako ďas,
Doufám, že dnes nic nezmeškám,
musím pohnout, nemám čas.

Final quick find for the morning before picking up our daughter from the Wollombi Music Festival where she had been volunteering for the weekend.
Thanks for the hide xPhenoms.

Not much space to park but chucked on the hazards. Grabbed the trackable to continue its adventure
This was another nice quick find once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found but not before carrying out a Trackable Exchange, dropping off the EarthCache Fossil Tag and picking up the Travel Froggie Travel Bug. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
After Easter egg hunt this morning and a swim meet n a sunny day I was granted a couple of hours to get some supplies and pick up some caches. Drove to Fernances Crossing and then Cessnock and then back to our camping spot via Broke. was a bit surprised at the lack of caches but ended up with a good collection.
Another stop along this road - plenty of traffic along on Easter Sunday. A few sheep on the gate and lots of dogs in the yard opposite so a quick find - the barking may have distracted me from the TB

Found with Beary_Unicorns on a very hot Wednesday morning. Missed this one a couple of months ago when I drove past the best parking space, planned on getting it on the way back, but didn't come back this way. Dropped off a TB to continue its travels. Visited TBs, tftc.
On a trip to drop off Christmas presents to the NSW family, and to see our new great granddaughter and now the long trip home. This cache provided a perfect excuse to travel slowly and grab a cache or two. Thanks jfindit for the stop off and chance to stretch our legs.

We were driving back to Sydney today after a couple of days in the valley, and took the scenic route because it had a lot of caches along the way.
This was the second in the Classic Motorcycle series along our route, and followed the norm for a lot of the rest.

Techsavvy9 found on 6/11/17 needs a pencil sharpener. Next time I’m thiscway I will check if the pencil needs sharpening.
15:20 I really need to figure out a way to identify one of these is coming up. There's not really enough room to stop when I'm going 80km/h
Tftc, went on a georoad trip with Azzepious today. Initial plan was to head to Cattai and grab some from there then to the Windsor area. Well, we ended up changing our minds and heading to Broke up the Putty Road instead!
This was our return journey! Our GPS was playing up down here and we found ourselves overshooting the caches a few times and having to turn around to get them a few times. Otherwise a lovely trip in a lovely part of NSW!

Found at 1041. Ended up in the Cessnock area yesterday and will be staying here for over a week. I think I am tackling this series from the wrong direction. TFTC
Today we drove from Broke to Mangrove Creek Dam and had 40 finds and 4 DNFs. We had a great day! TFTC
Find #669
After our trip into Yengo to find 'From the Dreamtime' earlier this year, we
decided to explore further south today, so planned a route from home to Broke, then south through Paynes Crossing, Wollombi, Laguna, Bucketty, Kulnura and on to Mangrove Creek Dam. We then had an interesting drive home through Brush Creek Road through Yarramalong, so we now know where our next day out will take us...
Final stats for the day read at 40 finds, 4 DNFs and 280km traveled.
Some more of the Classic Motorcycle series was up first as we snaked down from Broke, we were cut short last time by the Williams Bridge closure. Good to see it has been replaced. We dropped a little gear carabiner in half a dozen of the Motorcycle caches today.
The parking at this cache was a little 'dicey'....

Liked all the ones I found in this series. A nice idea and easy to find. The only trick sometimes was finding a park.
Decided to do a drive to Wollombi today to collect the rest in this series. Beautiful day. Surprised to see so many cars travelling this way. TFTC
Found with the geo-crew whilst on the way to a birthday bash at Wollombi. Quick dash back across the road to find this one but I don't remember the cache matching the clue. Many thanks xPhenoms
Camped out the back of the Wollembi pub for the weekend, do did a few quick stops to pick up some caches and show some friends what it is I get up to. TFTC
Our last stop before lunch at the wollombi Tavern another quick easy find. thanks for the cache xPhenoms tnln sl
Streak Day #905 - Found with Team CRuDSS aka contactpete, ris768, dave8153, spy79 and me, quick find on our way from Wollombi back to Sydney. TFTC
After yesterday's effort on this series we had to continue en-route homewards today.
Found this one very similar hide to the others but found parking abit risky at times, with those blind corners.
Maybe consider placing any new caches on not such risky stretches of road.
We still had a fantastic time, I think the major drama we had was the car convoy was 3 cars long, so parking was not ever going to be great, on the shoulder.

A tricky spot to park - I think we are going the wrong way on this series [:o)] Never heard of a Vincent bike - looks like a Norton to me.

Travelled down the Thin Black Line again early this morning down to the Big Smoke "Sydney". Took the opportunity to pick up a few new caches that have appeared on my map. This machine in my view would have to be the classic of all classic's designed by an Australian Phil Irving, Beautiful machine.
Another favourite just for the memories
Thanks for the great cache and adventure jfindit
