Did not find on a pretty miserable day caching with TheSkype and survivors. Looked everywhere but no cigar.
Looked where it could have been sitting, but no sign of the cache. Is it still there?
Thoroughly searched area around gps GZ, read logs and searched photos, all to no avail. Will keep an eye on this one and next one close to this one that was a dnf too.
A DNF for us today as well. Thorough search, even pulled out the torches for the holes.
Agree, would be worth a check to see if it's missing or we are just missing it.

No luck here, unfortunately. If this hasn't been found since April, might be worth a check.
Parked and walked up the hill to locate this hide. A DNF for us today. Should have read the other DNF logs for this one before our walk.
Searched all nearby branches/logs with no luck, we did however love the old den under the stump!
Found on a weekend caching blitz to the ACT with Hoojar and The Rats. We came, we saw, we biked, we walked, we had plenty of fun along the way .
Saturday was our monster day basically tackling the long snake of caches between Majura and Hall. A generic log like the others have used but that does not take away from the great CCT and other cache placements. TFTC!

After a few weeks of planning, and a number of attempts to align calendars, this weekend I came down to Canberra and the ACT area for a big weekend of caching with The Rats and steeba. On bikes, on foot, and in the car, we targeted a number of series and Power Trails placed since our last trip down here. The weather was perfect, the company exemplary, and the numbers achieved exceeded my expectations. It was a very long and tiring weekend, but of course it was also extremely satisfying!
Saturday was a big day. A very big day. Probably classified as a huge day! A massive amount of terrain was covered via various means. We went through suburbia, we rode along trails, we pounded the pavement. We found caches in several series, mostly along the Canberra Centenary Trail and it's surrounds. What a buzz! I really enjoyed the varying terrain, a few hills, some lovely wooded sections, and some amazing views. There is nothing quite as satisfying as going to bed knowing that you are thoroughly exhausted, and really earned your sleep!
Thanks to the all of the cache owners for placing their caches. Sorry for the mainly generic logs.
Cheers

[Teal]Came down to Canberra for a weekends caching with Hoojar and steeba. Taking advantage of the perfect weather conditions we had two great days riding our bikes around some of the newer powertrails that dot the city and suburbs.
Super Saturday had us racing around town from first light till the last rays of the day. We did different trails, different types of caches different types of hides, we used different forms of transport but most of had a great day.
Thanks to the various CO’s for placing these caches. My apologies for the generic log but it doesn’t detract from the fun we had finding them.

Sunday 6 March 2016 - a 7.00am start at 16 degrees to beat the expected mid afternoon heat of 36 degrees. A glorious Autumn early morning walk with the sun shinning through numerous water droplete covered spider's webs from the previous evening's sudden downpour. Found 30 caches over a four hour period having walked 11.60 kms in addition to bike riding (plus) to get to the starting point. Thx p2p (Siri, P, Mrk, StvnW). TFTC.
Took some hunting for this one. GPS pkayed up a little. Also tree trunk rather than branch would be a more accurate description. TFTC.
Also plase be aware as I was extracting the cache from deep on the afore mentioned tree trunk. I noticed a fairly large dark green or black with yellow or green spots lizard wrapped around the outside of yhis chamber. Could not see the whole lizard and being not a great fan of reptiles I didn't poke around. Did hear him move as I was replacing cache and couldn't see him. Just something to be wary of.

Driving my younger brother to Canberra for an orientation day at uni - Justified a day of geocaching!
1hr of Orientation vs. 9hrs of Geocaching - I think I got the better deal (& an extra set of eyes/hands for the caching too)
Cannot confirm the total find count today until I log them all, but it was somewhere between 30-40. Not bad considering I didn't store any caches in my GPS or Phone: just went with the flow!!
Thanks for the day Canberra - You always treat my find count well
~~~End of Copy/Paste Section~~~
19th of the day. Nearly missed the path. Enjoyed the little walk.
Would be a nice spot to watch sunrise/set
A great day out caching with the Geoson who did the running and signed the log for the Geograndfather who guarded the geolimmo and the treasures. The storms were threatening but we were determined to get some caches done before it broke. This is a nice little trail and a great start for the day Thanks JackaKid for the cache. TNLN SL
The great WEEO and I had a fab day out doing a bunch of caches together, including this great one with fab views and a great hide, TFTC .
The 14th cache for me of what should have been my largest no. of finds in a day. But alas, it didn't turn out that way.
After dropping off my son's bike (said son may log these finds as Houndpup) at a parking area near Pointless Roundabout we then drove to Hall to meet the other cachers - Darzee Di, ACTchil, ScruffyBlake, Mr_roo, KittyKatch, MeToo, Charleybear, SmittenGranny and MCKTCJ. My son and I grabbed a lift and went back to the start, where our walk commenced.
Houndpup was really not enjoying the day, so we had split from the group and this was our first cache without any of the group as we headed back down to the houses to try and phone a friend and get a lift to Hall.. Such is I guess.
TFTC Jackakid. I look forward to doing more of the series soon.
A two day trip to Canberra to pick up a few caches and to attend an event.
With a good variety of cache hides, we were kept busy.
Cache was found quickly, and in good condition. Signed the log, and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, JackaKid, for us and others to find.
I had been planning a big day of caching for today. My goal was to get 105 caches for the day, starting with the CCT trail heading towards Mulligans Flat and then joining onto the Jackakid caches before finally finishing off with some more caches in Forde and then making my way to Yerrabi Pond for the last ten or so caches. This plan included around 30 km of walking, something which I was hoping would not be a problem given the amount of breaks I would take to find each cache. I loaded up my bag with food, ~3L of water, GPS, phone, and other essential caching/walking equipment.
I hit the trail at 8:30 am, starting off with CCT - S3 - And so it begins. I set very good pace for the S3 set, finding a cache every 3 minutes or so (which was well ahead of schedule), until I got to CCT - S3 - Twisting where I took a very long time to find the cache (half an hour to be precise). There was one spot that looked incredibly obvious and matched the hint well. PAFs were went out and it wasn't until I started searching more methodically that I soon spotted the container in a spot which I did not expect. With that one knocked off, it was back to the earlier pace. There were only a couple of other tricky ones along the way but I had finished the CCT trail component of today's walk in about 4 hours.
Included in the CCT trail caches were some nice ones by other geocachers. It was nice to find a Spindoctors cache along the way as well as an mtbikeroz one, a Tankengine one (which I didn't have the best timing with) and a few Rapidlywild caches (including Reaching for the Sky which I was really happy to find as I didn't want to do a return trip. It was a bit of a silly idea as it was quite windy when I attempted it but I signed the log and descended to the ground unscathed without requiring a 'Special Tool'). Thanks to Champs2Monkeys for this part of the series, it was an enjoyable walk!
After collecting all the caches on the trail, I headed over to start the Jackakid caches. Overall, I had no trouble finding them which meant I had time for a little side trip to collect a letterbox hybrid, Celestial Storm (I had gotten first to solve on this one, it was a great and cleverly constructed puzzle and I learnt quite a bit) and some of the NPS series caches (which gave me just enough info to confirm where I thought the final would be). After collecting these few, I headed back to the main trail and continued on finding the Jackakid caches and others that were along the way.
After about an hour and a half in Mulligans Flat, I headed out and continued around Bonner following the Jackakid trail. The smell of smoke was in the air and there was a massive dust storm blowing in the distance. I spent a bit too long searching for Ducktasia which really cut into my limited time. It was about half past 3 when I reached JackaKid's Geocache 5 - Dunstan VC and was headed off to the last few caches in Forde before heading for Yerrabi Pond. I found Fore!ign Body without a lid so that may need to be check up on.
I was really tired by the time I reached Damp Fore!head, and called in to my mum to say I was ready to be picked up. I headed off and collected one more (Wings of Excellence) before going to Forde shops to buy a drink, without realizing I had dropped my money along the trail. I ended up with 93 caches for the day, and some massive heat blisters on my heels to remind me of the trip. All up, it took me 8 hours to find the caches. Thanks to all the COs who placed caches that I found today, I apologize for the copy paste logs!
Love the obvious hides and Miss 8 and Miss 7 found this one quickly and a bee line over the hill.
A lovely day for a ride today and we decided to come up through Mulligan's flat and complete this series. Overall, 25.1km over 3hr 37min, including a tea/coffee break at the back of Mulligan's flat. Coords were generally good and containers in good condition. I have expanded on the few we had problems with. Thanks JackaKid
Today's caching mission was a walk to clean up this corner of ACT. After finding a couple along the centennial trail above, I dropped down to pick off a few of the series on the way back to the car. Nicely hidden. TFTC.
Too nice a day not to go for a walk. Grabbed the geomutt and off we went to grab a few more of this series.
After being turned back on our first choice cache for the night we headed off for this one. Found plenty of kangaroos, some very large. Followed the path to a shelter which surprised me. Then off to the cache. Had to shoo a kangaroo away from it too. A pity the cache container isn't a bit bigger, we have some TBs to release.
What a beautiful spot with stunning views. On this grey day the kangaroos blended in to the landscape perfectly and there must have been easily 100 of them that we looked at. A great place for a cache.
Thanks so much for highlighting this area.
At last the end of the week has arrived and I was able to get away for a bit of caching. I put off doing this one in the dark a few weeks ago and found myself having a great walk up the hill. I am very happy to see a new track into the moth paddock. The view out to the NE is great.
Thanks.
The sun was setting and the sunset glorious; the best I have seen for some time. I have been enjoying this series, so I am giving a favourite to this cache for your caches I enjoyed finding today. TFTC JackaKid.
After doing the Mulligans section last weekend, headed back out to grab the Jacka caches. All found OK and with lots of nice views from the latter ones.
Nice to see a better hide in a nice spot with great views.
Thanks.
Today is a perfect summer's day to geocache - certainly enjoyed the walk - thanks JackaKid
Came out this way to do the JackaKid VC series with Ginger Floppsy. 1- 30 were found except for #25 which is obviously missing. Thanks for the series the rest were easy finds.
Decided it was a nice day for a bike-ride so my buddy and I went out to get this new VC series. The hiding is all very easy, except for a few which were hidden among a ton of rocks or not in ways too similar to the rest of the series. Even though they were easy finds they were still very rewarding, even stopped off to get a few extras along the way. My friend was a premium so we went for the new premium cache "Sky's the limit" as well, shame I can't log it because it was a really fun cache. We even spotted the elusive " Franklin " while getting caches in Bonner. Needless to say we had quite an eventful caching experience.
Anyway TFTFs Jackakid, I enjoyed boosting my finds count substantially even if I only got 29 of them, I can't wait to see what your later hides and series will be like!
With both Jupiter and Venus putting on a show at the moment in the sky we decided to pack the SLR and head out for a bit of Astrophotography. This was a great location for a cache JackaKid and one of our favourite spots so far in the series.
So we headed up with the camera to take some photos and to enjoy this outskirtish location. A lovely walk to GZ and a nice hide. Lots of planes flying above tonight and a beautiful city below twinkling on this winter solstice evening. Looking forward to the days getting longer. Thanks again JK
Might try and upload some of those photos if we get a chance.
9653 + 1080 = 10733. Knocked off another 6 of this series today.
Parked at a familiar spot and walked up the hill for this one. Great views from up here. Found the now familiar set up. Signed the log, replaced it in its hidey hole, and retraced my steps back to the car.
Thanks JackaKid ! Enjoying this series ! I especially like you adding the NZ VC winner !
What a beaut winters day to be out cacheing, Canberra was our destination and JackaKid's were the target. All the caches have good coordinates and and only 1 DNF no;25. Thanks for the series.
Found with Cacheoar. I'm pushing for 5000 and these few really helped with some easy numbers. TFTC
We were only a few geocaches away from 4000 find, so our goal today was to get 23 caches, so that I could be on 3999. We were successful, meaning that I will be able to make my 4000th cache a special one. We decided to use the JackaKid series to get our numbers up. After a long drive from home, we got to our first find. Then we took about an hour or so to drive around the area getting the caches. We managed to park about 20-30m from most of the caches, meaning that we were able to jump out of the car and quickly signed the log. Though, taking off all of the zip-lock bags took a little bit of time. Apart from that, this series provided beautiful views of the area and some cool looking architecture in the houses! The muggles were not around here today - except a barking dog that ran after us when we got to one of the caches. He didn't attack, he just chased us and barked a lot. TFTC JackaKid!
Had some spare time and so Darzee Di and I went out to find a few caches including this one. tftc Jackakid
Feeling happy that ACTchil and I went out today to grab the rest of this series, sun was out though there was a chill in the air. tftc jackakid
I really enjoyed this GZ area. The walk up to it on a day like today was great. The views over the city, the clear blue skies.....and some of the houses.......made the walk from my car well worth the effort. Cache was found ok and all was good. I could even see over to the area of one of my own caches.
Thanks for showing me the area JackaKid.....but you still get the photo of the dog......plus a favourite point for the GZ location.
A beautiful Canberra Autumns day just perfect for finding a few caches. TFTC.
Out for a night time Mountain bike ride close by through Mulligans flat, i decided to extend my ride over to Bonner and grab this series.
Being on the MTB, was a good choice, as i could keep on the dirt and off the road the whole way around.
I really enjoyed reading through the various stories of the brave service people.
Thanks Jackakid for bringing me out this way.
Time for the next phase of the JackaKid's Series. Thought I might walk it, but drove it instead as I had already walked 20km. TFTC Series JackaKid.
This took me longer than it should have because I failed to notice that there were three potential hiding spots. Great views from up here. A fitting end to this little series. TFTC!
Swung by this one to grab as my daily after work.
On with the torch and off I went after parking the car for the stroll. Lots of BIG roos on the way to GZ. I was startled by one as I was walking along-looked up and it was only metres away from me!! Awesome animals they are! Nice easy find at GZ and lovely view of the lights at night as well
Thanks for yet another in the series, JackaKid
Hmmm - looks like a powertrail forming here! Well - I attacked it in the freezing wind! Found them all quickly! I'm not a fan of mint tins, but hopefully the extra protection will help!
This was my favourite in the series! At least there was a little walk, and some fine views too! Thanks JK!
#3246 - 17:20; I saw that several additions to the series had been published, but I was at the wrong end of town to head out on a first to find hunt. I had originally planned to grab some different caches today, but as the day was drawing to a close, I decided to see if I could pick up the new caches in this series. I had collected five of six new caches in the series by this time and found myself in familiar territory for this one. The building has certainly continued apace since I was last here, but undeterred, I headed off along the track, where I eventually picked up the last of the current run and yet another *2TF*. TFTC JackaKid, looking forward to more in the series popping up soon
I had just jumped into the geomobile ready to head out to one if my VC caches to replace it. Just as I sat in the car a heap of emails came in, nice new publications. I checked them out and noticed a whole heap of new JackaKid ones and had a good idea that they would follow on from the previous ones. Yep lets try get some FTF's as its been a while since I was successful on the FTF chase.
This was the sixth and last cache for today, I parked up nearby and wandered up towards the GZ. Once there, I quickly had cache in hand. Opened the cache and was greeted by a blank log. *FTF* claimed at 1504 and off i went to do maintenance on the VC cache that I was supposed to be doing [:p]
Thanks for the placement of some more VC caches JackaKid
This was the sixth and last cache for today, I parked up nearby and wandered up towards the GZ. Once there, I quickly had cache in hand. Opened the cache and was greeted by a blank log. *FTF* claimed at 1504 and off i went to do maintenance on the VC cache that I was supposed to be doing [:p]
