Sorry I wasn't there, I had to stay home and do the carers thing, but I did get out later when the wife had her siesta and nailed a couple of caches. Hope everyone had a good time!

I am logging this old event I went to with Legomango9. He now wants me to create my own separate account.

An early and chilly, departure from Canberra, meant we could attend this triple celebration. a reverse birthday really - Witchjy distributed lots of goodies! Great to catch up with old cacher friends and meet players for the first time. Hope you had a happy birthday Sam.

Hey Sam apologies we couldn't make it, sounds like a great event was held and we are disappointed we missed the fun, well done. # 8506. Time to party today. Despite the grey day the atmosphere in The Hub was warm and there was good food and plenty of chatting amongst the large group. A very pleasant time.

Continued on to find the 3 that were published a couple of days ago but left the others for a future visit.

Thanks docNwitchjy for orgainisng this event. We had great time, meeting new people and catching up with others. Thanks also for the yummy birthday cake.

Any excuse for a party and with three reasons to celebrate there was a wonderful gathering of like minded guests at this one Generous gifts by the birthday girl delighted the many whose names were drawn, and the chocolate cake ruined any thoughts of dieting. No fireworks for the 4th of July but something better, a geocaching birthday for witchy. Happy Birthday and thanks for the event. Had a great time visiting the Hub and other geocachers of the area. I have past many times but had no reason to stop before. Thanks again

The party today was fantastic. Thanks docNwitchji for organising this event at this very special venue and providing for it in so many ways. I enjoyed meeting other geocachers, one being a new cacher to our area. I loved renewing my acquaintance with some mutual friends also, adults and children. It was such a memorable time for me today. Many, many thanks.

Thanks docNwitchjy for putting on such a great event/birthday party today at the cafe at Winton Wetlands. We only knew one person when we arrived but met many new friends during the afternoon. Ripper cake to celebrate Sams birthday, thanks guys. Cat even won the raffle and she said she never wins anything. A great day was had. TFTE

My first event Cache event: should have started years ago. Met a like minded and very friendly group of people. all ages, all shapes, all sizes! thanks docnwitchjy for the party and Happy Birthday and the opportunity to meet so many people - may there be many more. Thanks for the 15th year trackable.
I realised today that I have been geocaching for fifteen years - where has the time gone.

What a great party to help Sam celebrate her birthday, we are sure she appreciated the presence of so many local and not so local geocachers. Great venue, great food and great company that earned us all a souvenir in the Geocaching Road Trip '15. Lots of geocaching stories shared and a few hints gained regarding puzzle caches in the area. The cake was yummy too! We will be back to pick up the new caches another day. #2953 TFTE docNwitchjy

Attended with GeoPop. Thanks for organising the event - we can now collect another part of the Geocaching Road Trip. Bring on 'LET’S GET EXTREME!' Looking forward to doing some caches on the way home.

Had great fun at the meet up/birthday party. Met new people and the cake was lovely, also picked up some caches on the way home with my dad/rawhide.

This was my first time I've been to a Geocahcing event. I had a great time and met new people and was able to put faces to names.

I also got a hint on a cache from Betty Boo for a cahe I couldn't find a few days earlier. (I found it later in the day with the hhint. Thanks)

I then finished the day with 4 FTF, my first ones ever.

We had an awesome day with new friends and old. The meals were lovely. The cake was yummy, and the knife was sharp Thank you everyone who came to celebrate with us.

The date bug got me on the phone...again

We are planning to come (2 people). Looking forward to catching up with other geocachers.

Looks like we will be passing by so will pop in. Three in our party. Sorry for the late RSVP but it is still 2nd July in USA!

I actually would attend this one, except it coincides with a Friends of the Park field day.....

Just to quickly let everyone know, eftpos is available at the cafe but it can be a little unreliable so people may want to carry a little cash

Only one Newbie wishing to attend, know where it is and will be there with GPS and Mobile Phone. Either or both may be committed to deeps of the swamp! Frustrations of a Newbie local!

One of our favourite places to visit, so a party in the offing is just another excuse to be in the Wetlands. There will be two of us attending and thanks for the invite!
