Found it. Nice and easy. We drove in and walked from the dirty track only a few meter.
First in the series I attempted, phone's GPS was all over the place due to the wet leaves in the trees above me and due to the recent rains - MOZZIES! Was about to DNF it when I stumbled across it.
Now that I know what I'm looking for, should be a bit faster on the others. Log is a touch damp but looks like the container seals are holding. TFTC!

I seem to be a slow rider today. 2 mountain bikers zipped past me.

A quick find While out geocaching on the south side of Darwin and a bit of bush bashing. Luckily some forrestry track brought me up pretty close to the GZ. TFTC
The final cache in the southern cross series. Super happy to sign it off at last. T4TC!!!
Decided to take the bikes and dog out to look at this series it was a nice morning to do this. TFTC DeFCoN_6
Caching around the Darwin suburbs, slowly moving through areas we have previously not been. Really enjoyed our trek through the pine forest to locate this series of caches. Thanks DeFCoN_6 for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
After our Parisian trip in the first week of the Easter holidays, we (i and my husband Voske1967) went for 3 weeks to the other side of the world to enjoy the friendly atmosphere, food, landscapes and culture of Australia. Of course, geocaches were also searched for and found in Perth, Monkey Mia, Denham, Newman, Port Hedland, Darwin, ... . This trip downunder will stay with us for a long time! It was pretty hot in Australia for the autumn season
Lovely to find this geocache and surrounding area not destroyed by Cyclone Marcus. Thankyou.
We recently came to this pine forest for orienteering - GPS are forbidden in the sport so it was tantalizing to know that there were caches so close that had to be ignored. Today we came back to start the series and fill in a blank on the calendar. A nice easy find and everything dry and in good order despite the big wet. Thanks for the cache DeFCoN 6 - we will look forward to completing the system.
We were visiting Howard Springs and took the opportunity to grab this cache whilst we were here.
Cache was a nice quick find after driving close to GZ in the Geo Jeep.

Exploring the trail by car - interesting wandering around out here But he mozzies nearly carried us away! T4TC
The last of our finds in this series in this forest. Took us a couple of days to find all In between other chores. TFTC and the series.
Today we explored Howard Springs and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. Tackled this series by car, enjoyed the tour through the pine forest.

Awesome little 4wd by! Great hide, didn't take too long with lillypeas having the joy of the discovery. TFTC!
This was found together with Landlockedsailors (LLS)
We were going to Palmerston, so LLS had planned a little route of caches we could find if time allowed.
We had a marvelous time and found some really good caches. I was surprised of how well the little wombat (the car) did in the terrain
This was an easy find and I liked all the caches in this little series. They were fairly spot on, all were nice and clean caches (not micro) - a very nice experience. Interesting place, I would not have gone to on my own... No danger though - no snakes, spiders or any other deadly animal around when we visited I have a great map (actually OSM - free map) on my GPS which showed the paths = the easy way around the area. It was just perfect [^].
Thanks a lot for the cache and the series

Our first for the day. Loaded the bikes into the trail and made our way done to the parking spot for some school holiday fun. Didn't previously know about the mountain bike trails down here and there turned out to be some fun track. I should have taken a bit more notice of the bike overlay as we had to do a bit of bush bashing, which wasn't particularly difficult in the pine forest. Thanks for the caches. Regards Croker Crew
What a great series of caches in a very different piece of bushland.... not the usual Territory scrub. I was surprised to claim a second FTF after following the trails. Thanks DefCon 6 for putting these shining caches out
