Out with ILTW getting some adventure labs and earth caches. Great hills in whites hill reserve. TFTC
GeoM and I had some time free this afternoon and he decided he wanted to go out geocaching. We ended up driving all the way over to Carina so we could find a few that I haven't found yet. This was a nice quick park and grab. Thanks for the cache genyo!
5/7/2023 Find #6248
This afternoon I decided to head over to the Southside to grab a few caches, with my eye particularly on some of the nice older ones. Having grabbed an oldie and some nearby labs, I decided to grab this cache just around the corner. Finding 2 trackables in here, I decided it would be safest to take them out and move them to a safer location.
Thanks for the cache genyo.

A quick find while waiting for a kid to finish an activity nearby this afternoon. Thanks genyo
This cache should have been so obvious so we did we pace around like we were wearing glass slippers? It was because we were close to some houses waiting for a dog to bark.
Normally the dogs that bark are the ones that get stuck between your teeth when you are eating them. It’s almost like big dogs don’t bark because they know it they had to they could end your family tree. However, it’s the little ones that make the most noise.
I don’t know it there anything like a poodle dip or a sausage dog dip because I would be stockpiling crackers for that. We didn’t hear any dogs so made a quick find and were at a loss egg things had gone so smoothly. tftc

Was in the area picking up a marketplace purchase so decided to grab this as it was only one street over. Man, some of those sticks have extremely sharp sides. I came away with a row of little prickly thorns down my little finger. I burned it last night and shredded it today - I think my finger will want to divorce me now. Quick find when all the wire, plastic, paper and sticks were taken out. Not sure if they should all be there, I left the wire up the top as it too could be harmful. I put the rest of the 'stuff" back in. Dropped off a TB. TFTC.
Easily spotted but harder to retrieve than expected! A great hiding spot almost in plain sight! Tftc
Today, following a morning Kelvin Grove parkrun, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I went out for shopping and errands, and then headed to Belmont Hills Reserve on the south side for a walk around the area. The Q100 oldie [Belmont Bushland](https://coord.info/GCGHDB) had brought us to the area, but a couple of hours spent walking around, spotting wallabies and kangaroos, made it an enjoyable afternoon wander.
This geocache was our final find for the day, and we stopped off here following our Belmont Hills walk and on our way home. Hence, we parked right next to GZ, and after fighting our way through the branches, I caught sight of the container, making it a quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks genyo for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Over on the Southside for some more caching therapy, plus a chance to continue my personal challenge. I parked right next to the hide only to find a very spikey tree. No luck at first and then a read of logs tells me it may be missing. A read further and it tells me it could be another tree. I looked in both and hard no luck. There was only one really likely spot so I pulled out all the sticks and searched around, a dig further down and I found the cache. So happy to get this one even as it is supposed to be a simple find it did take a little to decipher.
I signed the log and replaced all as found before heading out to the next one. Thanks for the puzzle and the hide.

Wow, a real park & grab here today. Sometimes we pull up at P&G's and 20 mins later are still looking ....... Thankful that it was with the rain bucketing down.
TFTC genyo! All good here.

A nice straight forward one. Cache and log in good condition with plenty of room left for the moment.

After my appointment this morning I am grabbing a few caches before going home. Made a quick find in the marked location.
Found on 8 June 2021. TFTC, genyo.

The log is needing to be replaced as it's running out of space and is a bit wet. The tree the cache is in is awesome love the deep hole. Tftc.
This was indeed a very easy park and grab. The cache was in plain sight, so I gave it a bit more camo when I returned it. TFTC
Had to take a different route home from work. swung by to look for this. really good hiding hole.
This may be the most ‘suburban’ cache I’ve ever done.
Picked it up after getting the few whites hill caches. Interesting tree.

After a lovely walk on the nearby hill, we stopped here and found this Hide which was virtually a drive by. Very sneaky in a very urban spot.
Thanks

Cache had no leaf cover, so I've covered it up. Could really do with a deal more leaves. TFTC
Easy park and grab, quick Sunday arvo stop and off to find some icecream on a hot day. TB to move on. TFTC!
Nice quick find for the 3,2,1 souvenir. Dropped a trackable to continue its journey.

Light traffic and I was soon here.
A balmy winter afternoon, perfect for caching

After noting the hint and viewing the photo, this really was a park and grab
No complaints here, found easily and without raising suspicion in quite a public location.

A quick park [near the wrong tree] and grab before arousing too much attention.

A day out South of the river was planned for today, and despite the wet weather and muddy puddly ground, we decided to go for it anyway and made the most of things. After all, any day caching beats a day at work and what's a little water, we ain't made of sugar .
On the way to a walk up and around Whites Hill, we stopped in here for a quick park n grab. A little sodden inside but all good here.

12:01. This traditional cache makes find number 5,617, thanks **genyo**. Discover our TB

Anyone who's been caching for any amount of time should straight away spot the tree this cache is in.
But alas, I did, no hint needed. Grabbed it, discreetly signed it and replaced and off I went.
Tanks Genyo!

Nice easy cache - just what I like! Signed log, noted the Sneaky Squirrels token, very cool! Left a non-muggle as a swap

Muggle in the house near by, quick find with geo son and daughter, tftc genyo. :^)
A nice quick find, which was excellent - the rain was getting harder, and there was a muggle in a house closeby that was making a lot of noise, and i was concerned he might be watching us. Tftc
Squirellette does not like putting her hand in places that could potentially hold spiders or any other creepy crawlies. But in the end the team persevered
Put a token and some swag in for any cachers looking to add some goodies to their collections.
Thank you CO for the cache.

Didn't want to touch this.... but geobuddy had a log replacement ! Thanks for the cache!!
We went caching after the Tingalpa CITO. Had a really good time cleaning the creek. My second time to use a kayak. Woo hoo! Collected lots of rubbish. The land lubbers got more!

Surprised this cache is still intact after the recent heavy rains but all good with a new logbook. Was a bit worried moving the bird nest sitting on top of the cache which made it harder to retrieve. Thanks genyo for the neat hide
Sadly this cache was completely destroyed. No log book or anything inside. It was a SUPER EASY find however
Today, teamdfl and myself, have planned a BIG day geocaching around this part of Brisbane with a few target caches planned and finding a few others as we go along.
We had our first find around 7 am and our last find was about 4 pm with approximately 20+ finds for me.
With both of us having cached around here before we sometimes had the case of this cache is for me and that cache is for you.
I had arrived early so made a quick find here before meeting up.
Thanks for the cache.
