Even after contacting the CO I still couldnt find this one. Another visit another day I may have more luck. After a tasty pie and sauce for breakfast I headed to a known location to pick up some rubbish, enjoyed a colourful sunrise and poked a bear . It was then that I decided to make the most of this early start.I headed home, hopped on my bike , rode a couple of trains and followed a trail of caches into the vines .A most enjoyable day/night down south finding treasures.TFTC LBKeep smiling

Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. This is the best of the OTD series that we have done. Unfortunately, we were unable able to fund the last one, but we could well be back LNCU

After some completely unnecessary rock climbing, cache was found, tucked away in a neat little spot. And there ends a most enjoyable evening walk with 5 caches collected. TFTC

Perfectly sunny day for a pedal Prob did 16 or so kliks from McLaren Vale to Old Noarlunga return - map showed 13km as the crow flies. Mixed results on the caching but picked up the pace closer to the coast. A swag of DNFs near my start point on the Shiraz Trail Then back to the Shingleback winery a bit later for tasting after I stowed the bike on the car.

Impressed with the good coords. Liked the containers for ride-by caching. A couple of hides with a Terrain rating of mountain goat but I was wearing runners. One butt slide to get back down to the track. A few waves and strange looks from others taking advantage of the balmy weather

Saving the other half of this trail for another day

TFTC COs Couldn’t have asked for a better excursion today.

Previously I’ve parked on Stump Hill Rd and walked west as far as Dec 7. Today I’ve parked on Pedler Creek Rd and the plan was to walk to Dec 8 and work my way back to the car. However I spotted this one as I was walking in, making this the first cache of the day.

It was a beautiful day for a walk along the Shiraz Trail in the company of The 4 Hawks and Moose 3. With the sun shining and a nice cool breeze we collected all the caches in this series between South Rd and Victor Harbour Rd. Thanks for taking the trouble to put out these caches.

Camping at Mt Compass for Easter today Mr Felix decided to cycle from Willunga to Old Noarlunga picking off caches as he went. Great day out but boy was the cycle trail busy and by the time he finished it was 33degrees and a bit warm. [B)]

Well that description had some unknown facts about the Leaning tower of Pisa, all we knew about it is that people take those funny photos of it where they are holding it up or pushing it over, does get a bit tired after a while, only so many times you can say öh thats hilarious, great photo".
This is what else December 15 has going for it,
Cat Herders Day
December 15 is National Cat Herder’s Day! Although the only job remotely close to cat herding is working at your local animal shelter, this holiday is not dedicated to cats. This celebration is meant for those who can manage others and themselves no matter what chaos is thrown their way. The idiom, “like herding cats,” was popularized during a Super Bowl commercial in 2000 by “Hewlett Packard.” They compared their ability to serve others like cowboys herding cats – with ease. Since then, the phrase is mostly used to describe those who can lead and handle life even when it is uncontrollable. The term is also considered a skill workers use when leading a group towards one goal.
Cupcake Day
Guess its eating cupcakes!!
International Tea Day
Thinking it would be having cups of tea
Wear Your Pearls Day
Pretty sure this would be sitting pretty, wearing all those pearls everyone owns, slurping cups of tea, gutsing into your cupcakes while "herding cats". Seems like Wear your Pearls day wraps it all up.
Thanks LiB for the cache, found, signed and replaced safe and sound. TNLN

Put the sweat wheels on the car today and headed south, with primary aim being a couple of trads left in the O'Halloran Hill Recreation Park which is in my 42K circle from home. After that I headed further south to the December OTD series where the bike would also be useful. Ended up finding all 25 left in the series.
Thanks LíB for the cache and the series.

I have replaced cache to it's original spot. The terrain has always been 1.5* not the 2.5* that it had become after cache creep.
Do not follow the geotrail... it's not on that side and it is within easy reach, just well hidden
