The statue and plaque originally used to create the coordinates for GZ have been removed and will be relocated to another site. Once that site has been established we will create a new cache.

Solved this one at home before we headed south so was just a matter of finding the cache today. I was able to park very very close to GZ and one particular spot jumped out at me straight away as a good hiding spot. Another spot also jumped out as a place I didn't want it to be hidden in ... and luckily, my first choice guess matched up with the CO's thoughts.

Thanks for an interesting little Kittykatch/Youban.

Today's caching mission was to Moruya and back to Canberra. Went straight to Moruya Head to catch the low tide, then cached my way back. Information easily collected, and cache easily found once calculations completed. TFTC.

Im down the coast for a couple of days and thought id stop in at Moruya to grab a cache today.
I love the statues around town and after grabbing the numbers for the coords at WP1 i took the long way to the GZ and checked out a couple of the others.
The cache was located quickly once i reached the GZ and log soon signed.
The container is in good condition and the log is dry.
Thanks.

Apparently I was spotted by charlotteleclerc whilst grabbing this cache! She sent me a message later! We have only met once, so wouldn't have recognised from a distance, although I am quite happy that my "pretending to be a muggle" stance had her convinced Razz And that I didn't look too painfully obvious, so I must be doing this "stealth" thing slightly right!

Thanks Kittykatch, Grimraider and Youban for your assistance in keeping this cache alive Smile

Decided on a few caches before lunch, and strolled over the bridge to the park. After rechecking the required information (we had looked at the statue on the Saturday while at the markets, but hadn't realised that it was a multi WP), quickly calculated GZ. Walked over in the general direction, only to behold what appeared to be a young muggle fiddling with their phone close to GZ. Ok, I thought, we'll swing by again after lunch.

And so, some hours later, the cache is found, the log retrieved, only to, discover that was no muggle, but Loci612, a fellow CBR cacher. Added my moniker to the log, and replaced all carefully. TFTC Youban

I said I'd volunteer to look after the dog, while the rest of the family get groceries for the week - very noble of me. So geohound and I took off to explore some sights. Arrived at a great statue of a League star. Grabbed the info, headed to GZ and soon had cache in hand - hidden in a spot familiar to experienced cachers. TFTC Youban

Not sure why but I make the simplest of caches so dam hard. easy to do the numbers, but still had to double check gz. Found in the end, and log almost as difficult to get out. Finally ticked this one of the list. Don't usually do multi's but have a multi challenge cache near home I don't qualify for, so have to do a few more. TFTC.

Having just arrived in the area this was the first cache we searched for. We soon found the numbers required at the waypoint given and then with our GPS updated with the corrected co-ordinates we walked on towards Ground where the cache was soon located. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the nicely hidden cache and greetings from Zimbabwe

Headed to the coast with fitzy_1965 and the geo-kids, B0tmun, Death Killer & my_name_jeff_1.

Spent the night in Moruya. Took our time to pack up and head home....caching along the way.

This was our first stop for the day. Quick calculations for GZ and easy find as we parked the car between GZ and the muggle sitting in her car nearby.

No joy for us after solving the puzzle

In the area for a couple of days and decided to give this one a go. Sorted the answers and got the checksums to match, however once at GZ the number of cars in the area meant a good search wasn’t possible. Couldn’t see it in the general of the GZ but getting down to ground level was the problem

Thanks anyway KK, hopefully next time.

We searched at GZ for 30mins for nil result. Oh well, onward we go!

Crystal Warrior and I were down the coast for a couple of days and had a day out and about punctuated by the occasional cache as we pottered along checking out the sights.

We were slightly excited to come across a multi as they a usually interesting. Learnt something new and off to GZ for a quick scratch and find. I hope it lasts? Thanks...

Spending another day exploring this beautiful region. My aim was to get to Moruya finding as many caches as possible along the way. A nice little multi that didn't take too long to complete. One snag.... although I calculated correctly, I entered the wrong coordinates into my GPSr and it said the cache was in the middle of the river. Oops! Correct coordinates entered and the cache was soon discovered. Thanks Kittykatch.

15,362. Found during a meander around the south coast with specimenX on a hot hot weekend.

A last minute plan was hatched to spend the weekend away from the Canberra mega-heat and put up with the coast heat with specimenX. This was the next stop for Day 2 of our meander, starting where we left off yesterday.Grabbed the required info, calculated GZ, the wandered over there. Scratched around a bit until specimenX came up with the nicely hidden cache. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.

Thanks Kitttykatch and GrimRaider !!

Over from Canberra with fitzy_1965 for a weekend south coast caching run Big Grin

Final day of the weekend geomission, and after a nice cool night and a good sleep at our campsite, fitzy_1965 and I were off for more caching before heading back to the Can.

Stopped off for this quick offset multi on the journey. Mick gave us the numbers we needed so off we went for the short stroll to GZ. A bit of chicken scratching around for a few minutes yielded the cache for the signing. The black colour of it certainly makes finding it a little more of a challenge!

Thanks for hide, Kittykatch Smile

Found @ 2:48pm with hccatcher11415 on the way home from Narooma after a weekend of golf

I had solved this one online back in November 2015 but today was the first time we stopped to look for it.

In the end I had to resort to the hint with hccatcher making the find. I grabbed the Cayman Islands "Mon" TB to take back to Canberra.

Down in Moruya with WEEO for a couple of days. We decided to do this multi before we left as we figured it wouldn’t take too long. Interesting sculpture and we had no problem with the solve, in fact Mr S mostly had it solved before we got to GZ. Soon found the cache and dropped a TB.

Today we are on a short move from Batemans Bay to Bermagui but thought we might take the opportunity to stop and look for a few caches in Moruya and maybe have a coffee.
A lovely morning for a gentle stroll around Moruya and along the river bank. And the bonus of having a few caches to look for on the way.
A straightforward off set multi, with a close by find. Just what we like!

Was down the coast today to check out the sculptures at Batemans Bay, and can sadly say that 95% of them were rubbish! Sad But, as a consolation, here is the type of multi that I like - staight forward, and easy! Nice quick find (altough the empty keyring made me think it was missing for a second! Thanks KK&GR!

Finalf29 and I were in Narooma for a few days. So of course a caching expedition was organised. The weather was brilliant and the company superb. Found 17 before we had to put our foot down to get back to Narooma before dark.

This was our last for the day. Thankfully a quick multi as the sun was starting to set. Sorry I didn't know this sportsman, as I follow Aussie rules, so had to look him up. Thanks

I grabbed the data when I was in town around Christmas, and hadn't had a chance to use it until today. Heading home from relatives with the older tadpole, we stopped in the quiet afternoon. Took a bit of a search but found ok.

Today we made a trip over Moruja to Batemans Bay and the way along the coastline back. We had beautiful views and beaches and spend a while at some spots. A fantastic day with a hot and calm day.

Worked out the GZ a couple of days ago but even at 6:00am muggles kept turning up. We decided it needed an early week day morning trip so today was it. Took a few minutes but were soon signing the log. Interesting reading gathering data for GZ. Thanks for making this find educational. Kutgw

Found on our trip to Batemans Bay. After parking in the nearby parking lot, we walked over to the statue to quickly complete this multi. We don't follow watch much NRL, so this was a very interesting town place to visit. We quickly answered the questions and then walked over to GZ for a very quick find. The muggles were not a problem today, so this was a very pleasant cache. TFTC KK (again)!

Interesting sculpture and easy calculation. Also I went to gz. A short look, but Muggles in sight. So I drove my car in front of gz, so I was out of view while searching. Et voilà: the cache was logged.
Not the best hiding place, but a short one...
Thanks for this one

Day fourteen of the Southern NSW Lounge About with BettyBoo3747.
A sunny start to the morning, so we took the deadly treadlies up to Moruya, parked in town and rode to the Heads and back. Lunch was then near the bridge, then a few extra caches in town before returning to windy Tuross Head.

Michael looked a bit like an alien today as someone had been playing with a florescent green pen on his eyes.
Collected our numbers and did our calculations. It was not until later that we looked for the cache as the neighbours were working on their lawn nearby.
We returned for a empty yard and a quick find.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 10242. Unfortunately this is our last day staying along this beautiful coastline at Tuross Head. We have loaded the bikes on and driven to Moruya to enjoy a ride and find some caches too. After a great 14 km ride to the heads and back, and a quick lunch at the Ice Creamery watching a lot of corellas in the opposite tree, we continued our ride and picked up a few more caches.

We gathered the information to guide us to GZ when we first arrived this morning but there were gardening muggles quite close to GZ. After our ride we came back again and after realising we were no longer looking for a bison we searched further and soon had the cache in hand.

Thanks Kittykatch

Found this cache at 4:30pm while in Moruya for the weekend at some Rotary Functions and picking up some caches as we go. Geo daughter Sc00t has taught IT to Michael Weyman at TAFE Wollongong when he was playing football for St George/Illawarra.
Not a bison tube. Fav point from us

With the warm weather still around a plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to head off again on another adventure. We headed down from Canberra on Friday afternoon after getting an early mark from work. We spent yesterday collecting all but one of the SST trail and others around the area. Day three and our time has come to an end and we head back to Canberra.

Apologies for the generic log, we had a cracker of a time around this area. Thanks RW for another fun weekend away. Big Grin

We decided to take the scenic route and head up the coast to Bateman's Bay collecting along the way. After such a big weekend of caching we enjoyed more relaxed caching on the way home.

Plans were put into place to spend the Canberra Day long weekend down at Bega collecting some caches with FurfacesLL. We cached along the way and picked up a fair few across the whole weekend.

After a massive day doing the entire SST loop yesterday, today was the day we checked out and started to head home via Batesman Bay. We collected a select few caches, mainly sticking to the highway as much as we could as we wanted to be over the Clyde before the sun started to set. We had an amazing weekend around Bega and surrounds collecting 176 caches for me and 180 for FurfacesLL.

Didnt take long to work out the coords for this one, and thanks to J+J.au we were presented with a newly placed replacement cache.

Thanks Kittykatch for the placement of this cache, we had a great weekend [^]Big Grin Thanks for the company FFLL, had a great time as always Big Grin

Cache maintenance has been undertaken by J.J+au. Thanks for your help Smile

Looks like this one has gone missing too. Hope to get a chance to replace these containers in the next month.

07-Jan-16
The plaque at WP1 was easily found, and the calculations pointed us to a location about 40 meters away. However, searching thoroughly there did not bring up any cache. We found a rusty key ring, hanging in the fence, which might have once been connected to a bison tube/

26-Dec-15
Wet flowering bushes in a high muggle area made this a challenge. We didn't find it.

Here's day three of my trip to the coast with me mate Knightech and my GeoSchnauzers Oscar and Sophie. We are catching up on our sleep after some weeks of stress, and this morning, after a nice sleep, we had our breakfast, and, after a while, and a session of puzzle cache solvery, we went caching just down the road. This one was our last of seven today, with no DNFs, and including one FTF!!!!

Knightech worked this one out, and we quickly parked and found this one. Thanks, KittyKatch!!

Glad to be passing through and able to make the find. Lucky for us we were towing so our vehicle placement provide a perfect screen and meant we had muggle free search time, which was handy because it was alittle tricky to spot. Not often a travel bug helps with the geocaching search! (Our van is a travel bug) Nice to break up the journey home and learn a it about NRL. Tftc
