I’ve put this down as a find even though the log has gone as the area is now a construction site
If you know where “evil” nanos love to hide it’s fairly easy find. Log is missing.
My little monkey and I enjoyed the climb. After a quick unsuccessful look, we had a little snack up high while we discussed where the geocache might be hidden. A little climb & search later, and cache was in hand! Always great to have a find after discussing giving up soon! Thanks for a fun find!
Had a brief hunt for this cache last year sometime. Found ourselves back here today with fewer Muggle monkeys aboutin the damp weather. I sent geokid up first and followed hot on her heels. I’m always up for a playground cache . Happy to find this one today, easy to spot from the right angle. Log signed and cache replaced as found. Thanks for a fun one!
My last find for the day, on my geoadventure with sunshine58.
Parking up the tredleys, we strolled on over near closing time, for a coffee and a cache. I'd actually been here a few times before, but always the playground is full, and so have been deterred. Today, the coast was clear, so up i went, reliving my childhood over again. Needing a tott for the log, i came down and so, got to play on the equipment a little longer, before returning the little blighter.
Thanks two_dollar for a great cache for adults!

Today it is our last day with my sun and his family who lives at Wurtulla. Together with my grandson I climbed in the tower to reach the cache. It has been many years ago I did so. I could not get the log roll out of the cache so I took a picture. After that we enjoyed a delicious smoothy.
Quick find once we got our way to the top. Log book is full so took a photo as proof Found with Mrs Krispy Kreme. TFTC
Our little monkeys are a little older these days but never to old to play! Sent adult child number two up for this one - fun find at this time of the evening with noone around.
Oops! Missed logging this one at the time!
What a wonderful place to put a cache! I couldn’t wait to get up there and have a look. Found the cache quickly and we both signed the log. I didn’t take the ‘quick’ way down however, having passed the age of enjoying such excitement some years ago ?? I would have loved to have seen this one at night time.

An invite from Mrs Slow Puncture to cache on the Sunshine Coast was unexpected, but happily accepted. After finding a nearby cache, we made our way to this one. Mrs Slow Puncture went up whilst I stayed below. She quickly located the cache and added our names to the log. Whilst she was up there, I went up as far as I could, but was more than happy to return to terra firma. TFTC
Found on holidays whilst playing at the playground. Lucky the cafe was closed, the area was deserted. Tftc
Up the coast for the weekend, thought we'd try this set of lakeside caches.
Once we realised where we had to go, we were having second thoughts, but as there weren't many around, off I went. Returning it was a tad more difficult as a family had arrived and the kids were enjoying the complex. Nevertheless, a 55yo can mix it with the 5yos.

We have passed this cache numerous times and even parked thinking about an attempt several times, but until now it was always teeming with muggles big and small. We had just driven a couple of hours from being on the Gold Coast for the day and just about at sw4's friend's to pick her up when we got the message that they were still eating dinner, so what better way to while away a little of time but geocaching.
At last, with not a muggle in sight, we saw our chance. Both of us 40-somethings climbed the lighthouse, although I did not notice it lighting up tonight so seemed more like a rocket ship. It was a bit scary in the dark and quite high for something kids are encouraged to explore. J made the reach as the hint described and I enlisted the phone torch to see the log to sign.
J took the quick slide down but I was hesitant, worried about catching my skirt on something inside so climbed back down the layers of cable webs to the safety of the ground.
So glad to finally grab this one which we had been thwarted by muggles for so long.

I was out for a caching day on the Sunshine Coast with RhoBoCacher and her muggle teenage visitor, who came in very handy for this cache! I climbed to the second level, but our muggle friend was at a higher elevation and called "got it" as he monkeyed back down to the ground for Rho to sign it. Log was signed and the cache replaced quickly so we could move on to the next one. Tftc two dollar
Out with Stortigirls and a friends son, and this one we were glad to have him with us as he monkeyed his way up so quick checking on each level as he went. After a few mins he says "got it" with such enthusiasm he slid down the slide as fast as he could so I could sign it for us and then he was keen to go all the way up to replace. I only wish I was that able bodied again lol. TFTC
My 2 geokids LOVED this one. Could evwn grab a chai latte while we searched. It certainly brought out their monkey skills
Found by neice. Could not unscrew to sign log. Took photos. Tried lubrication. Many hands tried. Needs maintenance.
A solemn day, in more ways than one. Just before we went looking for this cache on ANZAC Day, I found out that my grandfather, aged 99 and who was in WW2, had passed away.
We took some time today to spend some time as a family, while caching. This was our last for the day, and it had been a mediocre day caching-wise (a few finds, but a few DNFs too).
The kids had a ball here. The little guy (ED, aged 5) reckons he climbed the "lighthouse" about 10 times. Not sure how many... but he did climb to the top a lot!
I climbed it too... in search of the cache. But I couldn't find it. But not to worry; the little kids had such a great time, it was worth the stop anyway.
TFTH two dollar. Thanks for bringing us here.

After reading previous logs, I decided to take the grandsons along with me so as I didn't look quite so stupid climbing to the top of a children's apparatus but I didn't need to worry because nobody took any notice of an old man with a bad knee climbing around. Anyway after reaching the top and a little bit of a search, the cache was soon found - I sent grandson J down with the log for geowife to sign while just hung around at the top and then grandson T climbed back up holding on to the cache for dear life for me to replace. Great adventure so it deserves a favourite point from us - oh and geowife enjoyed sitting with a coffee and laughing at us all. TFTC two dollar
Did this one as a night cache, so we had the playground to ourselves. Lotsa fun. Took 2 TB for a visit as well! Tftc
Stopped off at this one and no little kids around so I just boldly walked over and started looking at how the lighthouse was constructed ? I kept getting higher a level at a time checking ropes and rubber . Finally I was at the top I looked down and the adults having coffee seemed to not be interested as to what a 65+ aged male was doing, I spied the cache container and made my way across and retrieved it and returned to the centre to open and sign ( I'd hate to drop the cap up here )

Muggles all sizes everywhere. Will have to return. Unless I can pass for a child. Sure other adults might think me crazy or they're jealous.
Oh so much fun! The rain today deterred all the kids so we could take our time with this find. The rain did however ensure a soggy bottom after our slide rides! Tftc!
Out and about with teamdfl on the Sunshine Coast, and our plan is to grab as many solved puzzles as possible, with a few Earthcaches, a multi and some traditionals thrown in for good measure.
We hadn't intended on doing this one, but I read the description as we went to do the nearby puzzle, and of course I had to stop by. It was perfect timing too, as it was well dark by now so no muggles got to watch the two crazy ladies in the playground! And that was fun! Of course we both went up and crawled around searching, and soon teamdfl made the find, but I was surprised at her concerns about the slide... well, I'm sure as heck going down there! And it was a blast! [^] She soon followed, and I think she liked it as she went up for a second go [^] Hilarious [D] TFTC, two dollar. Have a favourite point [^]

Out on a Whacky Wednesday with IolantheK. This one was not actually on the target list, but some others in the series were.
I had a terrible time hunting yesterday. One of those days. Seems that today was going to be a bit repeat even with the assistant.
We only had two (maybe 3) DNFs, but we spent a long time finding many of the ones we did locate. [B)]
Surprisingly this was not one of those. It was well after dark when we arrived here, so we had no trouble with muggles. Only crazy ladies are out in the park at this time of the day. [:o)]
A few spots to check here, but not too bad. The cache was soon located, but there was the slide to conquer. [:(!] One of my fears. [)] I do not like them. I do not like them one little bit.
IolantheK bravely went first and said it was OK. I decided to give it a go. The epitaph would be different if nothing else.
I had so much fun that I went and did it again. [^]

Woohoo...Reliving my youth. A little high and small for a 6'2 guy with fat fingers but managed to get it. Tftc
#12806. Saturday morning probably wasn't the ideal time to do this one (as it happened we were back here two days later on a Monday morning, and the kiddle factor was much lower). The lighthouse was deserted when we arrived, so it seemed like a good time to strike. As soon as I got into the right spot a few kids started playing in the lighthouse. However, I continued searching. The cache was soon spotted but the log was tricky to extract (movements in the structure didn't help). It was good to get the wee blighter back in position without dropping anything. TFTC.
I had solved quite a few puzzles in anticipation of our Sunshine Coast holiday and this morning we had access to a car to transport us on a caching expedition to try and turn some into smiles.
After 2 DNF's, we were in desperate need of coffee to boost the caffeine levels and so were delighted to find an establishment that would supply an injection just metres from GZ! After a bit of navigational difficulties, we found our way here and with no children on the structure, StreetWalker started upwards. He had barely set foot on the thing when he was followed by a couple of kids which was a bit tricky as they set the ropes into motion. With me doing the groundwork (i.e. nothing!), he set to work searching and it wasn't long before he found the wee blighter.
Rewarded ourselves with a good cup of coffee and had a feeling that the day would now get better, caching wise - and it did. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.

Brought geodaughter along to retrieve this one. An easy climb and find for her. Seal on cache container has snapped . We have put it back but not sure it will hold up to rain .

What a great spot, catered for the adults as well, I wish they had that when the kids were younger.

Little Miss NLA and I had fun finding this one and even though it was a significant challenge she insisted on finding it herself!! Unfortunately the cache wasn't quite complete but with permission from the CO we are able to log it . Hopefully it is fully functional now.

Still trying to find our first one and spent heaps of time here but couldn't find it at all.....
Out for a night cache. Arrived at a familiar gz. Geo-kid raced off and soon had cache in hand. Really who goes all that way without a geo-pen. Geo-dads turn, not quite as nimble however log was soon signed, replaced and we slipped back to the geo-ute living to fight another day.

Was about and about with MinkosDes thismorning. After working on something nearby we decided to grab a few before I went to work.
This cache was thankfully found quite quickly as a mini muggle came up to investigate what I was doing! I replaced the sign and waited a while for him to go down the slide.
Ouch! Burnt my legs on the way down, I dont want to imagine the heat of this slide in the middle of the day.
MinkosDes was on the sideline for this one to avoid awkward looks..
TFTC two dollar, good luck on your EC attack today!

Today's quick early morning run was done by mtill17 and I whilst out doing a little field testing, I shan't say anymore. After doing what we needed to, we thought that we would hit up a few local caches before mtill17 had to get to work (I was lucky enough to have the day off, sorry to rub it in Tilly). This was one of those lucky few that we had the time for this morning.
Ok, this one I let mtill17 go in for the grab... I was going to join him when all of a sudden a car pulls up and a Mini-Muggle jumps out and beelines it right for where we were playing, who would have thought that kids would like to play here too.
After a little monkeying-around, mtill17 had a time limit to grab the cache as the Mini-Muggle was on his way up to join mtill17. After some quick manoeuvring, mtill17 had the job done and patiently waited for the Muggle to exit before he could too... I secretly know that was the reason mtill17 really wanted to go in for this cache, LOL.
Thanks for another hide two dollar.

Had fun climbing the frame tackling the ropes. Enjoyed the slide down. Thanks for letting me be a kid again.
Found with the 8 is Enough night raid. Good time to visit this one as there were no kids and no one around. All the silly adults climbed up the playground and slid down the slide. Never too old.

This was the tiniest cache I'd found, and I only got it on the second time I looked for it.
It's quite a difficult spot, as there's always kids on the playground or people at the coffee shop
It's quite a difficult spot, as there's always kids on the playground or people at the coffee shop
What's that?? ..... Privatears put out a call on the local Sunshine Coast Geo group .... Does anyone want to join her for a night raid on some local caches? Ummmm YES! Before we knew it, we had a bunch .... EggZachary, Bones74, Privatears, Dahumbug, Mr Showcase, Puumba, Benjumanji, myself .... So Eight is enough we became!! We found a patch of caches and off we went!
This cache had been on my radar. What better time to grab it, then at nighttime when the coffee shop was shut and no children around. Perfect stealthy time. My car was the last to get here. Everyone was on the hunt already. I thought they would beat me....but no one had found it. To the GZ I went. Stretching my long arms. Yay!!!! I found it. Goes to show. The snail does win the race!

Our group (Dahumbug, XWF, Egg, Bones, Puumba, Benjamunji, Mr Showcase and muggle driver friend and myself) continued on to this one next.
I had heard of this playground and had been intrigued by it. Very glad to have come here at night though, as it would be extremely difficult through the day without use of kids grabbing it for you. I had a blast playing on the equipment here and at times it was a bit like vertical twister as we were trying to reach over each other to find the cache. In the end XWF made the find in the same spot that we had already looked before.
Thanks for the play!

Geodad 1, geokids 0. After several failed attempts by geokids, geodad found in less than 10 seconds. Great cache. Found with Secret7(P).
Out for a cache run with GeographyMan and Geosister. GeographyMan had to go get this one. Probably looked a bit weird to all the muggles! I wasn't tall enough to reach the cache. TFTC Two Dollar a FP from me.
First time at this park. Geokids happy for a break in caching... Wrong ! Up you go kids. Bring me back the treasure while I order a coffee lol. Cache soon in hand, dinged and returned. Now you may play kids.
Gave Mr Showcase about 10 minutes of playing/looking around with no success while me and Egg Zachary had a coffee and then I had to channel my inner child (which is never too far from the surface) and climbed up amongst the 20 or so kids to make the grab. TFTC two dollar

Had driven past this cache ac few times. .. today was the first time with kids so we decided to stop and have a look around and see if it was doable with so many muggles. We sent the kids in first with a general "we think it's here" but they couldn't locate it. After we finished our coffee bones74 why in and had the cache fairly quickly. . Logged signed and replaced.... a lot easier then i thought! !
A quick find with holster and thehairbear.

Took a few attempts to find it. We had looked here before and missed it as we hadn't searched thoroughly. TFTC. Nice challenge
Arrived home after a day down south caching and geopartner had promised to go to this one in the evening. We headed up the coast about 7pm.
The place was deserted. I tried climbing but was not good at it so geopartner took the lead and his inner monkey came out and he was soon up looking where I explained where to look.
At first he could not find it and tried everywhere but came back and found on the second attempt.
Got it down to me to sign the log and then it was replaced back in hide.
Down and walking out when 2 muggles appeared.
I watched them for a bit to see if they were cachers as I did not recognise them.
They climbed up and were hanging around the slide opening.
Not cachers. We left them to it.
That certainly was a bit different.

#1131 ~Joint *FTF* @ 10:05pm with Spinna76 (third for the evening). Played on this contraption less than a week ago and talked about it being a good spot for a cache. I braved the heights last week already and decided to leave the honours to spinna76 this time. I do wonder if there is a nice view in the day time, the stars sure are pretty at night though. #1137 @ 10:05 pm ~ Joint *FTF* w/ *SuzySquirrel* After darting here, there and everywhere tonight we saw this one come through and knew exactly where she'd be. We had only been here exploring last Thursday night. Nice quick grab while some younger "kids" were playing like we did the other night. Not sure everyone will like the placement though. The majority of cachers think it's wrong to place caches where this one is placed. ~ TFTC two dollar
