14-Jan-22
It was wet overnight and humid today, but there was still plenty of high flying action on the main tracks, including the kid who came back to tell him mum - "I almost died. But I got it on the GoPro" Didn't see anyone take on the log rides though - youngest and I were free to use them as balance beams. Thanks Robber44 from bringing us here.

#3914 All quiet early this mo at the bike track. The cache was found nice and quickly by Mr BGF and the geohounds. Some seriously scary obstacles on this course to traverse on two wheels, nothing we would ever tackle!! Too "sick" for us wusses. Looks like the future of the bike track is under a cloud reading a banner near the shelter. Wonder why? TFTC Robber44.

Well I picked a great day to check out GZ.

Not one bmx bandit in site.

Pretty impressive track it is.

The cache was a fairly quick find today.

Definitely located me to a private property!! Should of read the logs first! Look for largest tree around

Navigation to us to private property. Opps. Once it reset itself we found it

**Find #2746**

Last night I attempted this cache and DNF'd. The posted co-ords have you in Private Property. Even the Google Earth view shows GZ in Private Property. After reading through previous posts and using co-ords by the 2y'stassies S 38° 23.866 E 144° 11.610. This had me were I needed to be, with a quick find. An amazing bike park. Another gem for Anglesea.

Thanks **Robber44**

Find No. 2402. Found at 10.22am.

Down in Anglesea for the weekend with Geodog Penny to take her back to the beach, have a look around and of course do some caching. FUF009 came with us this time.

Our third and final day in the area, so today we are going to grab a few before heading for home.

We reckon this is the fourth or fifth time we have been here. We tried last time we were in the area but each time it was far too busy to even attempt to look for the hide. This morning it was a bit quieter with only one family present when we were there so we decided to have a wander around with Penny in tow. What a great spot for little kids and big kids as well. We were envious of them because we didn't have our bikes on board - oh well maybe next time we visit the area.

Cache located and log quickly signed, then back to the van as we had a few more on our list before heading for home.

Find # 7249

Found with Tyred n Cranky.

Down in Anglesea for a weekend family trip. While Tyred n Cranky had found quite a few in the area they decided to stop at a lot of them to let me claim some smilies.

Last day and heading home today, so it was kind of a "Map Clean up" day and just to try and grab some more in and around Anglesea.

I think this was Tyred n Crankys 4th visit here and seeing that it was quiet at the moment, there was only 1 family here, we decided to go for a quick Look around the jumps and make a sneaky grab.
I think our next visit to Anglesea the bikes will be packed for the trip and for this place.

Thanks again Robber44.

Down in the Moggs Creek, Aireys Inlet and Anglesea area for a day of caching. I was having a bad time in Anglesea. The mosaic has come unstuck and was not there, another one the CFA shed has nil sign, therefore nil information and another one the road was closed so this was my only cache found in Anglesea. Being school holidays it was overrun with small muggles hurtling around on their bikes. Dodged them and found the cache out in the open about 25 m from where indicated which seemed to,want me the other side of the fence. Must just be one of those days. TFTC Robber44

A popular place on a Saturday it seems. We managed to avoid most of the riders as we searched for the cache. SL at 12noon Left: pathtag. A great place for learning all the tricks of the sport! #5142 TFTC Robber44

With the sun shining we walked to GZ to make a quick find. I wish I was coordinated enough to try the tracks however, I fear I'd need an ambulance on site if I did.

Instead I took a photo and enjoyed the scenery Smile.

Another find by the McPhail family.

It's always a pleasure to cache along the Great Ocean Road but even better when the sky is nice, there are no muggles about and you have the day to yourself. Last time I came past it was muggle central. Today the coast was clear. I'm not sure if it was my GPSr, but the co-ords had me into the neighbouring yard which i wandered into before realising it. Back through the fence and I spotted a likely spot. GPSr had me some 13m away. Stamped and replaced as found.

**Thanks for placing this trad cache, Robber44** Smile

Two months of the year gone already! We set out, to tidy up a few missing smiley tokens between home and Anglesea.
Satellites today had our GZ 11metres south of where we found the cache.
(Apologies for time and type of log, our computer had a total meltdown.)

Thanks Robber44 for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Great day to be out and about in Anglesea. Not too far from home but felt the need to gather some premiums which were unavailable previously.
Great weather today. A little wind to cool things down with sunshine and scudding cloud forms to provide some alternating shade. The goal today was go for the multies but collect the trads on the way through.

Please forgive the generic posts but we will endeavour to add some individuality on the way through.

Yikes what a place this is. I'm a geriatric mountain bike rider. Too old to go hard as I don't bounce anymore. But, "holey moley" if I were 10 years younger I would be into this big time. Might still have a go if I can keep the ego locked away. (and no-one's around)

Great venue , great cache. Great work Robber44.

Found on a great geocaching day out in Anglesea with our friends, suss vulture. The rain was clearing up when we got here, so it was a very pleasing sight! There were a couple of kids at the bike track today, but there was no issue getting the cache further up the hill – once at GZ, it was a very quick find. TNLNSL. TFTC!

This is a very impressive facility and I admired some of the jumps and chainsaw work that has created this track. A short wander off the track to your cache which was in good condition.
No one about on a Friday morning.

e were lucky enough to stay an extra night and have a late check out on the Monday morning so it was about 11.30 when we arrived at the carpark here. We had left most of the caches on the east side of the river until after the Event. We set off, both leaving our phones in the car so when we saw the very cool trails set up we decided to try out the camera on the Garmin 650 GPS, havent looked at the photos yet, will post once retrieved. Took a bit of hunting to find the cache as the GPS was jumping all over the place under the tree cover.

14-Nov-16
All was quiet when we arrived in the car park. After finding that the posted coordinated had us over the fence (even after letting the GPS settle for a couple of minutes), we widened our search area and found the cache some distance away. The cache and contents were in good condition. We took some coordinates and the average of six readings was S 38° 23.866 E 144° 11.610.

14-Nov-16
With all of the activity over the Mega weekend this cache has attracted many visitors. Sevearl have commented that the coords were off, by 9, 11, 13 meters, other side of the fence etc. I went to check with my GPS, and the reality is that there are swings in the readings. I stood right by GZ for a couple of minutes and found I was 3 meters from the cache, yet as I walked around my GPS pointed me N, S, E, W at various times. It's there, beside a tree that has been untouched by all the new log rides being developed.

Found while down here for the Mega. Out grabbing some caches with Happy Feet 1, Omegaman1971 & Happy pants. Just as we pulled up, the heavens opened, but that did not stop us. Fortunately the rain quickly subsided. I was very impressed with the course, although I don't think I'd be game to balance on those branches. TFTC Robber44.

Down for the weekend with 6hinemoa2 for the Surf Coast Mega. What a great park for the kids to cycle around. A lot of thought has gone into this and I certainly hope that the locals enjoy this attraction. Thanks for highlighting this area Robber44

Our co-ords seemed out on this one and this was also the first time this weekend that the Mozzies had really bothered me and boy did they have a field day! Eventually we found the cache and wondered how we could have missed it earlier. Great bike track i just wish I had a bike with me. Might have to come back one day TFTC

Day three of our SCE weekend...

This cache had me walking in circles for a while but I eventually found the cache about 13m from indicated GZ (which was over then fence, btw).

Thank you, Robber44, for this cache.

Eventually found this hide after widening out search area substantially... I later learned that my older PQ data was out of date as the cache had been moved but we still found it while the kids had a ball playing on the bike park beams and mounds. Well worth a visit. TFTC Robber44

Mine and Kelly's better halves went exploring and playing whike we went to a few info sessions at the mega. They were suitable impressed with this location. Thanks for the cache

Once we had worked out how to get here I was amazed at such a good facility for entertaining the kids safely. It was being used but the kids were too busy having fun to care about me.

Love the park! Mind all the bikers on the tracks. TFTC

13-Nov-16
Found it! While the better halfs of teams Mark&Kelly and Morcs4 attended some info sessions at the Surf Coast Mega, the boys went hunting some caches just to get out and about. It was so much cooler and less conspicuous without our cachebusters outfits so we were able to grab a few in realitive peace. We got to see some great views and even put the Morcs geotruck in low range. This one took a little work as the co-ords seemed to be a few meters out and we started on the wrong side of the fence. Fantastic work been done here, a future visit with the geokids is certainty a must...TFTC...

The coordinates for this one were out but we should have spotted the cache earlier than we did - amazing park for those that like mountain bike riding and soooo many mosquitoes- tftc

In town for The Surf Coast Event 2016. Caching with n0w0rries. Chasing as many as possible in one day. This cache was amongst those found. I spotted it while Rod was doing the GPSr shuffle on the wrong side of the fence. Thanks for the cache Robber44

12-Nov-16
Arrived in Anglesea late this afternoon and decided to pick up a couple of caches around town so Happy Feet and myself knocked out a couple of quick trads while waiting for a night cache or two. This was soon located after a short search. Co-ord's seemed to be out but geosenses soon prevailed and it was quickly logged before the mozzies could finish the attack on us. TFTC Robber44, thanks for highlighting this cool feature, I may tackle it next time I bring my bike.
