Logs
Found on the 8th of June with some friends (who we introduced to Geocaching) whilst camping at the nearby Chalks campground. A boardwalk, and a decently long one, where one would not expect it. Thanks for a well made cache series!
Lovely cache and a beautiful walk along the boardwalk. Mamma Roo nearby with her baby in the pouch
Luckily for me the drizzle had stopped by the time I started this walk.
A fun walk through the wetlands.
Liked the diversity of cache containers. Not sure if it's always been like that.

Quite a late log for the boardwalk series. Stayed at a campground nearby last year and planning on coming back soon, this time will be better as I have learned to be more organised with geocaching by planning ahead especially for mystery caches and earthcaches. As we weren’t allowed to have campfires back then I figured I’d warm up by going for a hike and find some geocaches! Did the boardwalk from 6 to 1 rather than 1 to 6. Thanks for all the caches!
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
Our last full day in the Barossa and another chilly day, perfect day for caching. Thanks 3LG

Another chilly and misty morning out with iluvtrekking on our last day in the Barossa area. Thanks 3LG
Camping at Wirreanda Farm in Mt Crawford for the Easter long weekend. Had the mountain bike with so some caching had to be done. An enjoyable day out today with 10 caches, enjoying the serenIty of the forest. This cache was one that was found today.
Another nice little hide along this great boardwalk trail. Cache is in great condition and blends in well.
Find #3988 on 15 Apr 2022.

Today we decided to head up to mount Crawford and do the board walk trail followed by the odd trad there and back, a nice to get out and about.
This was a really nice walk all the caches along the trail are in good condition and easy finds.
Thanks for the series

Beautiful afternoon at chalks. A spot of caching before joining Trail Running SA for their Mt Crawford Challenge on Sunday. TFTC.
I spent an enjoyable day exploring and geocaching around the Mt Crawford area. Weather was good for geocaching and thankfully no rain.
I really enjoyed the walk along the boardwalk. I stopped to chat to an elderly German couple collecting mushrooms. Not the red ones found here amongst the pine trees.
All caches on this little trail were found.
Thanks for the cache 3LG.

After taking the direct route through the trees and navigating so many kangaroos, my bud keeponretrieving and I had fun at the bridge finding this one.
A couple of weeks ago i drove past this series and thought: "Next time i will come do" and today is that day, Wednesday the 18th of November 2020, blissfully unaware that we'd all be locked down due to COVID for a week as from midnight [:o] That sinister character has raised its prickle-ball-head again [:(!]
The GeoMobile was parked in the suggested area and i went on foot to do all 6 hides.
I saw the Banksia on approach and after a quick find i was SL to the shrill of my mates [blue wrens] in the Banksia Tree, they loved that. I turned my head around to see just how inquisitive they were. They are fairly game i tells ya
SL at 12:25ish.

Love Banksia flowers. Nice spot for a cache. Reminded of the three Billy goats story.
Spending the afternoon geocaching! Slowly approaching 100 finds, so where better to get the milestone than here on this trail.
On my way to Nuriootpa to catch up with friends...
The sun was trying very hard to shine through and the rain had stopped by the time I arrived at the Carpark...
Donned my raincoat, just in case, and headed off for a lovely walk through the forest on the boardwalk...
Looking at the name of the cache I spotted this one and reported to the CO that all was good here...

A good look on our way out and again on the way back, but this was too tricky for us!
Today with COVID-19 requirements still in effect (but starting to be relaxed), I ventured out with [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) to Mount Crawford Forest for a few walks. We started out towards the north-east finding a few of the *Summit Series* geocaches, partially following the Mount Pleasant Summit Trail. We then had a bakery lunch in Mount Pleasant, followed by an interesting shortcut (an unmaintained PAR) towards Cromer Conservation Park, where another walk was done. Finally, we walked a section of the Mount Crawford boardwalk enjoying a mob of kangaroos feeding and the birdlife around. A cold and nippy day, but not too bad for some brisk walking around the hills. We really enjoyed the various mushrooms growing within the pine forests and needle coverages.
I started looking in an area as per this cache's name, which is what the hint suggested. However bridge doesn't equal boardwalk, and once I had eliminated that spot, we searched the other topic. That had the nicely concealed cache. I couldn't believe how much swag was jammed inside this one, with barely enough room for the logbook. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks 3LG aka. [@LíB](http://coord.info/PR8KEM6) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Nearly wandered off to the wrong banksia tree. Hastily corrected and located cache. TFTC
