Sadly to say, after such a long time surviving well, it finally went missing in this busy little place.
Oh well, it did much better than expected!!
Oh well, it did much better than expected!!
Spend a lot of time here and even after confirming with a PAF could still not locate the cache.
Guessed where this one was when we read the clue and sure enough that was the spot! TFTC
Sezzz wanted to find ALL the caches so then she could get the latest souvenir. I had some spare time so offered to drive her around caching. We pulled up down the street a bit and walked back up to this one. I have never in my life seen more rubbish in such a small area. We ended up alternating between looking for the cache and picking up the dozens of plastic bottles hidden among these plants. We eventually both found the container, and managed to get most the bottles. After signing our names and taking the bottles back to the car so we could find a bin it was time to head off. Thanks for the cache 4ando.
Being stuck at home as a result of Mrs VC's confinement with a broken foot is beginning to take it's toll so a short caching run, to relieve the boredom & frustration, was in order.
We bundled Winter the Geo-cat into the Geo-Beast & headed north just a wee bit (about 40 minutes) to see what we could find.
This was our second of 10 finds today.
Well this certainly was a Busy Little Bridge indeed.
I spent a few minutes wandering back & forth, between muggles passing by, trying to ascertain where best I should begin my search.
As there were quite a few 'cobbler's pegs' or' farmer's friends (depending on your upbringing) I set about doing a little gardening & Cito which seemed to help in making my presence 'uninteresting' to passing muggle drivers all the while looking around for possible cache locations.
After crossing several locations of my list of possibilities I narrowed my search to one area & set about methodical search as the compass was not too reliable here.
It wasn't long before I was rewarded with the cache container.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
TFTC
Worthy of a favourite point for sure!

This cache was really cool i needed help to get it out though i wasn't forceful enough TFTC
I was on point when I theorised where this one would be but it still took my a few tries to hit on the cache, a fave point for us for the creative hide TFTC
Great hide, and a busy little bridge even very late at night, I must have looked rather odd with my torch in the garden but they pass by quickly enough not to take too much notice. Cheers
Was not too busy on a Sunday afternoon. We got it fairly quickly. Thanks for showing us this suburb, nice area.
Looked for this one for quite some time before wandering back to Mitsi. Geowife suggested I read Slow Puncture log and then it became clear that I had looked in the right place but maybe was not forceful enough - log signed and replaced as found. TFTC 4ando
TFTC 2255 # on the road in two weeks time cant wait Visiting friend at Kalanga before I go heading to NT and South Australia across to Victoria and home again out and about with miss millie geo dog what a great cache all ok with this cache

Out with Rhobocacher on a sneaky caching morning on my last day of Kindy freedom, we finished off letters for the December monthly challenge and then she took me to a couple of extra caches I needed for hidden dates and then a couple of bonus caches including this one.
This one is well hidden!!
This one is well hidden!!
Hui, clever hide.
Luckily, not too much traffic around noon, and Tom Torres made the approach "from the outside" so he wasn't too obvious.

On holidays, visiting family while on the school holidays, we had ten minutes to spare, before an appointment at the nearby tavern, and we needed all ten to find this tricky cache.
Even thou we have a cache just like this at home down south, it took awhile before the penny dropped and the cache was retrieved, quickly signed and returned for the next to find.
Thanks for bringing us here. SLTNLN.

Out with Ozpokemasterstoday and this was the 7th of my finds. This one was a tricky lil hide thank god rick packed a tool to help with this one lol. We were dodging the rain with this one as it didnt know what it wanted to do. TFTC
And after finishing the June challenge, we had another look with 3 sets of eyes here. And we must admit, we looked at the right spot, but felt uncomfortable to do what we did today. Even though former logs said: natural tool used. So we used it too, got the logbook, signed it and returned it. tftc
The other day, I stopped bikesu and my geo-brother-in-law to do what we did today. Feeling not comfortable, but it was successful today. So tftc
Third try with three sets of eyes ... but again no success. have to come back again. tftc
We loved this hide. Another one of those drunken geocaches with the CO. Back today to make it official. Thanks 4ando. Can't wait for more beers and caching
I was out caching with The Tough Mothers (jemillalucy, lisylou, bennyboppers, misssusan79, remsjw and mnance101) their kids geokidmadison, geokidtobias, geokidericca, geokidlexi, krazykrissy and my brother mazza151. TFTC!
Tough Mothers day out with the geokids. Bless school holidays. A trio triumphant getting over this one.
I was out caching with my son mazza151, my daughter pinkypie05 and the Tough Mothers (Misssusan79, Bennyboppers, Remsjw, Jemillalucy and Lisylou) and their kids (KrazyKrissy, Geokidmadison, Geokidtobias, Geokiderica and Geokidlexi). Clever hide. TFTC!
A little bit of searching but soon had it in hand with tough mothers and kids today
Tough mother Monday. Beautiful day for a walk with the kids for some school holiday fun.tftc
Out and about in the area again today.
After some searching I thought of another spot and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for the cache.

Found at 1118. Took a bit of looking, but found it in a cacher's favourite spot I don't know why it took me so long to look there. TFTC.
After finding a nearby cache, I headed to this one. Despite a lot of GPS bounce, I made a quick find. I added my name to the log and set off to the next one. TFTC
On my way back up to Naranga today as there are still a lot of unfound caches there. I particularly want to find the rest of the Beatles Trails. This one was also on my radar. Cache was quickly located and log signed. Thanks for a great hide 4ando.
This really is a busy little bridge. This one took us a while to find. It turns out that the hide was where I first tried to look, but I didn't try hard enough. We ended up looking back through a few of the older logs and gleaned some further tips from them which then helped us to locate the hide. Like others we needed to use a "natural" tool to assist us. TNLNSL TFTC
It was far too busy here last visit at school pick up time. Grabbed it today, was on the right track but just needed a little more. TFTC
I had a spare day in the Brisbane area today so I headed out to find a few caches. After a great time walking some cache trails it was back in the car for a few less tiring park and grabs (or park end get) caches. All quiet on the muggle front so it didn't take too long to find this one. Not quite in the first place I looked but then I thought hmmm - and there it was. TFTC, Biggles.
Out for a day of fun caching with teamdfl and IolantheK where we found ourselves travelling to various locations searching for caches that none of us had yet found. With my GPS in for repair, attempting to use a smart phone for the first time was really proving to be quite amusing!
We soon found ourselves at ground zero and the cache was quickly spied. With our names added to the log book, we made our way back to the car to head off to the next location.
Thank you 4ando for having placed the cache for everyone to enjoy.

It's Wacky Wednesday and time for a play date with teamdfl and Ms Just a Trifle And seeing as we all live in different areas of Brisbane, and there's rather a lot of finds between us, we had to come to this side of town to get a reasonable collection together
A very un-busy little bridge at almost midday The others took one way and I took the other and made the find. TFTC, 4ando.

Today we just drove around some of the roads in the area. We started off at a random cache and navigated to "Next Closest", but very early on we changed our approach to "Next in Series". In our travels today we found 11 (and DNF'd 2).
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

Out and about on a play date with IolantheK and Mrs Just a Trifle today. We had chosen a suitable cache to meet up at and now we were off on a crazy adventure to find caches that all three of us had not found.
We had fuelled up with coffee and cake and were ready for some more challenges.
Mrs JAT and I took the hint to mean something other than what it really meant. After a short search with no luck we read some logs and tried a different approach. Cache quickly located then.

Came to this one in the dark tonight.
It is wet but not raining at the moment.
Brought a persuader with us as I had a fair idea where it was.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks 4ando All good with this cache

This on was hard because the bridge was so busy..! I had stand back and look at the bridge and guess where I thought it was before I found it.
Out with my favourite Stortigirl.
GZ was known so out we get and start our search.
Storti made a comment and turned to search in a different way.
Woop there it is ... now to access the log.
Used one of nature's tools.

WE had to abort our search here the other night as a police car kept passing us and Miss 11 didn't help things by holding her torch up like the statue of liberty when cars drove past (much to her sister's disgust) [:O)] Today I revisited with my Monday caching buddy Barb, and wouldn't you know, she found it in under a minute Tftc 4ando
After giving up on the nearby multi I took a stroll down to this one and found it once my brain woke up.TFTC
I arrived at this location and automatically had a feeling for where and what I should be searching for. To make sure I was on the right track I called a friend to double check. Hmm, OK. So it's not what I thought and I need to go down there After a very confusing conversation and ending up in the creek, it was discovered that we were talking about completely different caches Bahahaha!!! The mix up out of the way, I learnt that I was indeed looking for what I thought I should be looking for. A bit of trial and error later, the well hidden beasty was in hand. I left my scribble in the log and replaced the container as it had been found.
Thanks for the cache 4ando

Sunday. Slow Puncture had returned from a days' caching and were resting at home when this new notification came through.
Luke had spent the whole day feeling worse than the minute before, and Kerry had already changed. So we thought we would give this one a miss. But, after a period of time, Kerry noticed that it was still available. The lure of the FTF was too much!
So off Kerry went, leaving Luke to marinate in his own sickly juices! After a while, Kerry rang home stating that she could not find it and had looked everywhere she could think. Under the circs, the hint didn't seem to make sense...
But persistence paid off, and the find was eventually made, by trying something which had apparently not been executed with enough ooomph the first time. Please thank your son for his great FTF prize, we shall treasure it
