mizmaz I found your cache Whispering Jack on 13/10/2024, 4:05pm. This is my find 7137 and find # 11 today. A quick and easy find as it was on the ground. Picked it up and signed the log and returned to where I think it would of been. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Hoping to collect some more previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some of the newly placed Adventure Labs and SideTracked caches, and accumulate some "units of fuel" for the new "Cosmic Quest" souvenir challenge. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base.Today (day 1) we travelled out to Vineyard, going via the M2 & M7 Motorways from Delhi Road North Ryde to the Sunnyholt Road exit, then through Acacia Gardens, Parklea, Quakers Hill, Schofields and Riverstone to reach our accommodation. Collected numerous Traditional caches, a couple of SideTracked caches, a previously solved Mystery/Puzzle cache, and a five stage Adventure Lab with AL Bonus cache that we passed along the route. This was the 6th of 18 finds for the day (day 1), and 6th find of the holiday. This one was next, parking the geomobile on "Whispering Jack" Farnham Road, and then heading over to GZ for a nice quick find on arrival. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC mizmaz.Find #6914
I think it may have been removed as my son has found it previously but it wasnt here when we came to find it together.
Searched around the obvious structures a while with no luck. Then searched again, and found the cache in a location we thought we had already looked in.
#14056 15:50I hate John Farnam's song "You're the Voice". Even back in Europe I had to suffer hearing this song when it became a hit.But I do love geocaching, and if John is featured in the cache team, I am happy to turn a blind eye.TFTC mizmaz.
Out for a cycle catching up on some local caches. As I arrived, I assumed I knew where this one would be, after a few fruitless minutes. Read the name of the cache, adjusted my search area and quickly hand cache in hand. This is why my wife always tells me read the title and description, being a typical husband even after 40yrs I don't always listen! Thanks for maintaining the cacheAs I'm replacing the cache I got a call from the wife "you're not geocaching are you?" Had to own up to it, But now I'm about 10 finds ahead of her!
This cache took around 10min the hint really got to me and was a sweet cache. Keep up the good work thanks for the cache
It was a really nice experience and nice hide. Found it in pretty quickly. Our very first find.
I had a cat called JF once. It stood for John Frusciante but my flat mate called him Johnny Farnham. You’re the voice is an epic song. Anyway thanks for the cache; have carried c3po on his journey
Thanks for a nice hide. I hadn't found the last three caches I'd looked for so this one brought me much joy xx
Found this Geocache !! Replaced 50c with $1 and will put the 50c in another geocache. Thankyou to the creator !!
Ha!ha! Not where I thought it would be, you tricked me but found quickly as my geo radar was on today!!!!
Very satisfying find didn’t have a pen with me but i found it on a nighttime walk!
With social restrictions easing and reviewers agreeing it’s safe to start publishing new caches, I’m re-enabling this hide (subject to ongoing monitoring of the situation). As we get out in the field again, it’s up to all of us to stay covid free so please continue to take precautions while playing the game… for yourselves and others.
Despite warnings to stay home in a global health crisis, I’m amazed at those continuing to venture out and log finds, especially new account holders (evident by 10 or less smileys to unknown names). As a responsible CO, I am temporarily disabling all my hides (urban or remote and unloved) until “social exposure” guidelines are lifted. This is for the safety of the finders, those that follow you and those that think it is ok to venture out because someone else did. Any finds recorded before the cache is re-enabled will be deleted so your risk will have been for nothing. Thanks for understanding and stay safe!
I think this could be addictive - my 2nd find
There were quite a few people around - so had to be stealth like - which is a bit hard when you are new to geocaching and are not sure where you should be looking -but I did it.
Thank you - was fun
