I thought I'd do a few of the Roads Less Travelled series while I was in Mudgee but ended up returning to town before I went further out than I really wanted to go, so only a few TRLT finds today.
Thanks for setting up this section Scenic Routers ... I shall return sometime for the balance.

Some of the TRLT caches I found back in June 2018. This time I was again in the Mudgee area and I took the opportunity to find a few more of the power trail.
My little Mazda3 behaved quite well on the gravel road, although it became very dusty both inside and outside.

Day 2
With the COVID19 restrictions lifting, we decided to head to the Bathurst area this long weekend on a Geomission with Rapidlywild. Our intention was to attack the TRLT trail and others around the area.
We had a great four days, only a few DNF’s but mostly smiley's, and have left plenty for another adventure. Lovely area to cache in and we look forward to coming back for some more fun and laughs.
Thanks for the hide Scenic Routers and thanks Rapidlywild for another great weekend away.
Apologies for the generic log, thank you to all the cache owners for their efforts.

With COVID19 locking everyone down for so long, a MUCH overdue geocaching mission was welcomed. FurfacesLL #1 and myself decided to head towards Bathurst and attack some of the TRLT caches and see how far we can go. Spoke to a few of the CO's prior to heading up to see if we could assist with any maintenance that was required, so we went prepared with some camo containers and some fresh log books. We had a wonderful weekend stretching the legs and enjoying the country side.
Thanks for the hide Scenic Routers And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun weekend out and about the TRLT trails and others

Day 2 at Gulgong, our attack today is to do the top part of the TRLT Series before we move off to Mudgee for the rest. We gave up the mad rush at IGA for the toilet paper today to enjoy a relaxing drive on the dirt roads heading south. A few tricky ones along the way but managed a 100% success.

This was to be the last long geocaching trail for us to undertake during our current travels around Australia, and so mid afternoon yesterday we had started at the top of the trail and kept going until just after sunset. This morning we returned to where we had pulled out of the trail the day before. Yesterday had been cold, windy and wet, but today the sun was out again and it remained dry throughout the day albeit with a very chilly wind. It didn’t take long to home in on and find this one, the first in the series for us today. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Day 3 - Travelling TRLT with oldmorty and marj01.
(Log signed OMF to save space).
TRLT caches: found - 80, DNF - 3.
Other caches found - 35, DNF - 1.
Thanks to Scenic Routers for placing this cache here for us to find.

On a big weekend caching with oldmorty and Frazeydaze and logs have signed OMF.
Would like to thank all cache owners, for making and maintaining the caches.

OCW frazerdaze and marj01. House sitting at White Rock for a week has provided an opportunity to do some geocaching runs around Bathurst - mainly TRLT series indispersed with a number of trads and puzzle caches. During the day we saw lovely scenery, lots of sheep and cattle, a few foxes and one deer in the forestry area. We even encountered fire persons doing a burn off which included two of the caches we were chasing. Please excuse the generic logs and thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches and adding to our enjoyment. For expediency all logs were signed OMF.
Found today with my Dad and little brother, before attending the event in Mudgee, very bumpy road along here!

We're here on unfinished business, and to attend the 'A Ceilidh in the Country' event. A few years ago we came to hit the TRLT, but gastroenteritis and flooding rain intervened. We hit the trail not long after 8 this morning, and made our way through the Piambong sections and a handful down Hill End Rd before heading over to the event. We then drove home in pouring rain.... Good coordinates were the norm, no cache problems along here.... TFTC!
This took longer than it should have.... a few minutes rather than a few seconds....

Out on a caching roadtrip for a few day over the holidays I stopped in here to look and find this hide.
It sure has been a really enjoyable scenic country drive.
With so many finds I appoligise for my repeated logs.

Find No.3990 while based in Mudgee for a couple of days. So far, we have found approximately 450 TRLT series caches. We don't like generic repetitive logs, so we will try to keep it fresh.

Took the less travelled road on a daytrip from Mudgee to Gulgong, each cache was found without too much searching around

On our way back from the coast MrGT needed to stop at a farm to pick something up. Sitting in the car waiting I thought I'd check if any TRLT caches were nearby. They were. So I was able to convince MrGT to take the lesser travelled road back into Mudgee for a bite to eat before completing the trip home. TFTCs.
Was passing by and couldn't resist grabbing this one. Will have to come back and complete TRLT series in full!
Day 2 of the TRLT series.
Found 25 in total today.
Again, all were easy enough finds.
Some nice spots visited.

Thank you so very very much for this awesome series that is showing us around with minimal bitumen. Absolutely loving it. Thank you.
We had plans to get a few of these up the track at this cache but our little car wasn’t up to the track so we got this one and went around the main roads instead. This was a quick grab on a busy road. TFTC.
Too many Muggles around (fencing contractors I think). Will leave for the next trip.

Having bid our farewells to folk at the Oz Geo Muster, we set our compass for Mudgee, where we set up camp, in order to explore the area to the south west of town including a few of the TRLT caches.
Our last stop for the day, there must be quite a number of TRLT caches we will have to leave for another trip.
Thanks 'Scenic Routers' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Mudgee trip for The Road Less Traveled series. Day 3. Sofala to Mudgee via Hill End and lots more back roads. The main focus of this trip was more of the TRLT series, so it was good to get back to work on the main goal.
Thanks.
