Hi Brownie52,
I think it might have been the event that was archived. I think Matisons took the remaining TB's on his trip back home to Latvia. Your Kiwi has been discovered the in Krakow.

Nice to meet some cachers from across the world.
Enjoy your time in Oz and I hope you see some more of our great caching spots.
Dropped 3 TB's and collected 3 others.

Not sure where I was going to cache today, I was reminded of an event this morning by Kid Ron Satan, and needing to visit the city, decided to attend. Picked up one cache before just missing my train, but got there in time. Collected two more after the event - one in the city and one near where I'd stashed The Hademobile.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
As mentioned above, got here about 25 minutes late, but was still there for a good 25. A small but interesting crowd of cachers were there, including our hosts from Latvia - where I'd been, and cached, only 4 months ago.
Discussions had, trackables discovered and grabbed, I finally made my way south to my next target and lunch.
Many thanks Matisons! for organising. The view wasn't bad either.

Fantastic day to meet up in sunny Sydney!
Good to see security were doing their job, we were approached by a security guard asking what we were doing. Thinking we were selling stuff on the opera house premises. Even though we weren't "on the premises". After a quick lesson, assured that we were only swapping, not selling anything or worse, and a quick check on google, we were given the all clear. I invited him to join.lol. I think he found it a bit too good to be true. That it was free to join and we were swapping TB's freely and that is was worldwide.
Thank you Matisons for organising the event! Safe trip home and happy Geocaching!

The Booos attended this event.
Find number 3071
A beautiful Friday in Sydney and a change of plans saw part of the The Booos in a position to attended this event. Wander from work around the foreshore enjoying the sun and got to meet the Matisons and a few local cachers, finally putting faces to log names.
Thanks Matisons! for hosting this event.

11/09/15. 12:05 PM. Cache #2982. Streak day #446.
6th of 6 today.
The city put on an absolutely cracking good spring day for our international visitors and the harbour was sparkling. When I turned up, the COs were already there, with The Booos. A few more turned up and we did some TB discoveries, group photo and of course lots of geotalk. I could only stay for the first half hour or so, but it was a good time. Nice to meet you and thanks for the event, Matisons!

Wish I could attend this one but sadly due to the time it starts I will not make it. Could have been my 600th. The race is still on to find the perfect cache for it.
That day I fly back to Germany. My plane leave at approx. 3pm.
But I will try to meet you, even for a few minutes.
I've done some caching in Riga.

Unfortunately work is moving out of the city the day before that to a suburban location, so I won't be able to duck down during lunch.
We would love to come but unfortunately we will both be at work so can't make it. Happy to catch up in the evening though.
The event is scheduled for Friday which is a weekday and hence I won't be able to attend

If you're looking to meet locals I'd suggest a time out of business hours and on a weekend.
I work nearby at Customs House Library, however may not be there this date as a internet safety for libraries talk is being given this day in Leichhardt .
But if this falls through I will be here!
