Needed one for the day and luckily managed to solve this one , so off we went and found it in the last place we looked. Took a bit of stretching Thanks for the hide Tftc
Have spent the last two nights camped at the Melrose Showgrounds now its time to head west, tonights destination as yet unknown, but towards our home in SW of WA.We are staying at the RV park as both caravan parks are booked out due to everyone wanting power to run air con in this heat.Nearly gave up on this one then I spied it, yayy TFTC
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa Staying close by we decided to focus on this area for a few caches today. The last DNF spooked me a little but its definitely there, nicely tucked away. Signed log as TB & PDG to save space. Tftc
Ocw the Bebes as we stay in Whyalla a few days. Took a bit of a search but spotted it eventually. Tftc
My last day in Whyalla so after checking out of the motel I drove around randomly grabbing caches. This puzzle was solved in preparation for this trip. The cache took me longer than it should have to find. TFTC.
Heading over to tackle a few days on Eyre Peninsula with Mattycat and Perfect Di, Day 1 had us picking a few up in town, a DNF last visit but a quick find ans sign with a previous finder sure we looked there last ime

After arriving in Whyalla with iluvtrekking on a wet and gusty morning we headed out for some caching after setting up in the caravan park. A stretch for this one. Thanks Royal Wolf
Found with richlink while having the greatest time touring the Eyer.
Just arrived at Whyalla and picked up a few caches after a trip to the shops.
Cache found, logged and replaced as found, thanks Royal Wolf.

Away for a few days with Featherwaite and Team Astro.
The plan was to get all the whyalla caches as well as the FTF series and the FITG caches.
Nearly got them all, just a few left for next time.
A quick find.

Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. Heading to Port Pirie but 4 days ahead of schedule so a quick detour to Whyalla was in order. There sure is a lot of puzzles here! Glad we had done the solving before arriving in town. 35 from 37 hunts today.
Mrs Felix solved this puzzle very quickly. Not sure why but the previous replacement by Mattycat seems to be missing so we have placed yet another micro cache at this location. If this goes missing quickly maybe its time for a new GZ.

Found the sign but no sign of the cache or the very much talked about magnet that previous logs mentioned.
Ah yes... those numbers look familiar and the puzzle was solved some time ago. Now, today up at Whyalla again, i had the chance to actually go for this one.
A quick find and after a little confusion with the cache container i was signing the log at 11:40 on TGIF 17 July 2020.
The log within is good and dry [^]

Found as one of the first puzzle caches I have done. Reading a book on puzzle caches and used this one as a learning puzzle. TFTC
"Just a quick puzzle to see what type of people are out there."
Well looking back at the logs, some will archive your cache, some will sign the magnet... and we - donated a container!
Usually we only help with replacements in remote areas where COs may have trouble, but this one seemed to need help
Super
Out with Jack and Sebastbat for some June Long Weekend Plus fun of our own - as this year's event had been thwarted by a naughty virus! Headed out, umm, this way and that way... plenty of little icons on the map to be converted to smilies
A little more Whyalla, then homeward bound. We'll be back Whyalla - lots we didn't have time for!
We did think the Whyalla map needs some more large caches. Maybe we'll have to bring some back
thanks for the cache Royal Wolf

All the best caches are hidden at a safe social distance
(161m apart, though preferably not vertical distancing !!! )
Caching never stops with some serious help from soap, water, and especially alcohol...
( Good for cache cleanliness and coping with puzzles ! )
Once cacher per 4sqm is easily achieved
Space is good. Fresh air is good. Exercise is good. The great views are very good.
#washyourhands - we don't know where the cache has been!
Gloves are handy - but only if you change them between finds !
#washyourhandsagain please
Support the regions! Hide a cache in the Barossa and another
#keepwashingyourhandsagainandagain
[xx(] If you stay "Covidsafe" you may just avoid a whole bunch of other nasty germs this flu season too
Hand hygiene and keeping safe distances can reduce your chance of common cold, flu, pneumonia, gastro, and a whole bunch of other nasties, as well as that corona thing
Ease your restrictions carefully. But get out and keep fit!
Enjoy caching. It's good for your physical and mental health

Stamped the magnet also...
Spending a few days in Whyalla and found a few cache, or 300!
Had managed to solve all the puzzles before coming over too.
Of the nearly 300 found on the trip over and back from Adelaide, 95% were found within 50km of Whyalla Central, with approx a dozen dnfs also. Amongst all the finds was my 17000th find.
Also managed a lot of 'unloved' finds too.
What is it with Whyalla and mint tins? lol
TNLNSL
Thanks

A cool puzzle I'd had burning in the GPSr for a while!
Teamed up with Hurtle and H423L to locate this one when passing through Whyalla to the west. We did not have the 3 days he had so made most of the time we had for a quick tour to acquaint myself with the town I love. I worked here for 4 years and made so many friends. So many memories in all the spots and places I drove past on the way to this find. We headed up the road to the Iron Knob soak out of town for the few final finds.
Thanks to Royal Wolf and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [:o)]

Mower has made this one a bit smaller than i recall and in a few more pieces. Showed family around a few caches at night. Seeing in Nov this was noted as neededing mtce this one could do with archiving as the CO is clearly not active any more
Found the remnants with e.gregory1 during a caching foray around Whyalla for the weekend after solving and stockpiling the solutions ready for the occasion. Thanks for the puzzle and cache Royal Wolf!
Found with Featherwaite on a vist to Whyalla, primarily aimed at finding a few solved puzzle caches.
Unfortunately, the container has disintegrated, was in pieces on the ground and needs replacing.
Thanks Royal Wolf for the puzzle and the cache.

Thanks Royal Wolf for the puzzle and the cache.
All the work that I did solving puzzles before I left home has been paying off. After one find and one dnf in the area I was able to add another find here.
Found while on weekend getaway and time to do a few caches with some friends. Found with Freddo, Laighside legend TFTC
TFTC, found while here for a funeral. It was a lovely distraction & nice to visit old haunts.
GoodLook very, very badly wanted to attend a special event, so who was I to tell her she was going overboard with geocaching [?]
Today was the Main Event day, the sole reason for our being up in Whyalla (accompanied by Laighside Legends) and the first thing we did in the morning was to get into a tri-hulled aluminium diving boat and cruise to 6km offshore so that we could attend fishingmad's 5T event
We had a blast and it was huge fun showing GoodLook around parts of Whyalla that she hadn't seen before I think her logs say it all!
Today was a day of 2 events attended , 2 DNFs and 24 cache finds
Unless mentioned otherwise, please know that your cache and log book was in good condition.
I do earn my keep on caching trips when others have solved the puzzles... I do the hard finding for them

Found It!
I knew exactly what this puzzle was when I first saw it. I am an E&E engineer after all. But it wasn't until a few days later when the star gazer called asking for a hint did I notice the connection between the cache name and the puzzle!
But once at GZ I immediately saw the connection between the location and the cache name! And after a lot of hunting around locus cache spotted the cache!

Found after a fair bit of feeling around the structure.
The loud and lovely Locus Cache [:X], the very clever Laighside Legends and myself drove to Whyalla in Harry with the aim of this weekend being: to find a few caches, and attend the 5T boating/fishing & caching event.....AWESOME!! [^]
There was fun, laughter , silliness [:o)], tense moments, some creative driving (on road, off-road, dirt, sand, mud, water, tackling what could be described as a very steep and narrow bmx track...yep you heard me!) , breath holding , kindness [:X], tight time schedules, ladder climbing, feet getting wet, dolphins, a boat, fish, nanos, ammos, sistema of all sizes and a number of mint tins. Surprisingly few DNFs. And LOTS of other mad crazy conversations and adventures. Gotta love caching and all of the fun it can be!! [:o)] [^]

After a slight nudge from DD it was a quick solve followed by a quick find in a familiar place. TFTC.
This was one of the 30 odd puzzles that we solved before I headed to Whyalla for an evening meeting today. Managed to find some of these before I ran out of time.
This puzzle was one which fell out fairly quickly.
Then the trusty Prado got me very close to GZ and to some other nearby GZs too

I Hate puzzle caches, solved after getting hint from DeltaDucks. Been here before. TFTC
Had a big Doh! when I was given a hint on this one - silly me. have solved ones like this before! TFTC
Somehow I missed getting the notification for this and only spotted it this morning. I solved it quickly and checking the solution on streetview showed that it could be a GPSr-free find. I have been a bit housebound anyway, but could grab a quick outing this morning so took my chance.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache Royal Wolf.

Found at 1710. Saw this one pop up late yesterday. Seeing it had no love today it was a quick solve and find tonight. The hide seems somewhat familiar. TFTC
