Couldn't find it. Tried with the coordinates on google maps too. Assuming the hint is for the old position?
Took us way too long to find him, we were in the wrong bushes but a quick nudge I the right direction and we were signing that log
After searching in the wrong spot that the coords lead to we had to get a clue from cache owner just to find out we were in the wrong spot, after getting the right coords it was a quick and easy grab tftc and swift on the reply back might wanna update coords
Not sure whats going on here but the hint didnt really make sense. There isnt one at GZ.
Revisiting the area after the Park was closed due to storm damage. Initially I had a lot of trouble searching for this cache as my GPS had me wandering around in circles. I reached to a previous finder to check if I was searching in the correct place .. nope not even close. As it turned out it was a nice easy find. Thanks The Rustys for placing the cache and others in the series.
Also couldn't find it after looking for a while. Not sure if the hint applies to the new location as it didn't prove especially helpful.
Coordinates changed from:S 37 56.662 E 145 14.810Coordinates changed to:S 37 56.629 E 145 14.820Distance from original: 206.6 feet or 63.0 meters.Moved away from an area that seemed troublesome.
Moved, replaced, all good to go again. Thanks to Hera for getting out here again for me
New cache has been delivered to Hera who will attend to maintenance on this one. Hopefully fixed this week.
Had the same luck as the previous people, found a identical spot to the hint but no cache appeared
Spent a good long time looking tonight, like the last seeker, I found multiple spots at GZ matching the hint, but no cache.
The second DNF for us here, Horace just doesn't want to be found
We searched for a while and found two different spots that matched the hint but still came up empty handed with no Horace in sight

So sorry. This is definitely in the pipeline to be checked on, but life is kicking my butt at the moment and I just can’t get there for another few weeks
Plans are in place to go and check on (and possibly replace) this cache. Should be fixed up in the next few weeks.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to The Rustys for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

We gave this one two goes, once at the start of the day and a final look on our way back to the car. I even had a photo sent from a previous finder but still could not spot it. This may need a check.
An extensive search was conducted in and around GZ plus 10 meters of so either side. Unable to locate this cache.
We searched high and low, left and right, up and down but couldn't find this one anywhere
After finding one of the other jitterbugs nearby, we stopped off here to see if we could find this one. Unfortunately after searching for 20mins we came up empty handed. Lovely little walking track though. We’ll be back for Horace!

World Wide Flash Mob!
On the way to the meetup, I had an idea for a walk to a cache that's appropriately themed for today.
So n0w0rries and I went for a walk. In a park. In the dark.
Almost back to the car after a fun loop... oh, that's a familiar series...
Took a bit of finding... bet this little spot bears only scant resemblance to when the cache was placed. Gotta thank n0w0rries for spotting this in the end. Hello, Horace.
Thanks, The Rusty's.

This took SO MUCH LONGER than I care to admit! Must be pretty rusty amazing hide, not so great for my ego!
Our first visit to Churchill NP. Thanks for the quick find on our rainy stroll.
A nice quick find today between running some errands and doing assignments. I haven't explored this part of the park before and I'll have to come back when I've got more time.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
A last moment trip to the area after having been away for awhile and being a 2/2 then what better day than to find it on 22/2/22. A bit of a search before the camp was spotted. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
Back for a second try after failing here a few weeks back. This time I paid my attention to the hint and my geosenses, rather than the GPS. Still took a little searching. Nice, just slightly scary, hide. TFTC
Oh well. Some days you get lucky, sometimes you don't.
I searched for quite a while, but eventually the time came to give up on Horace and continue with my walk.
I searched for quite a while, but eventually the time came to give up on Horace and continue with my walk.
Came to sus out Horace and found a scene of destruction in the area. Looked everywhere for him to no avail. Have replaced with a new Horace.
Wow that one was a struggle, embarrassing how long this one took me. Thank you to The Rustys for all the help and patience. Fingers crossed that I don’t need as much help for the rest in the series
First day out caching after thousand year lock down. Unfortunately this one couldn't be found
Searched everywhere at GZ today but was unable to find anything that matched the hint even with a widened radius.
I chose April to complete *sharkiefan's* **Mystery Cache Monthly Challenge**... that's 30 Mystery caches in 30 days. Close to getting there with 25 's, I came out today to finish it off with 5 more *Mystery finds*. As my stock of "solved Mystery caches" near home had run out I came over to Churchill National Park where I had a couple of puzzles solved and challenges completed.
As I made my way from the east side of the park to the west side via North Boundary Track, I only need a small detour to look for this cache... I had a look without success and as my real focus for the day was Mystery caches, I decided to move on to other things.

Finally found this one. Not what I thought it would be at all. Got a it of a surprise when I first saw it. Needed to widen my search by 7 meters but it is always uncertain under coverage. Now for the trek up and home. Thanks for the cache The Rustys just love this area but those ups and downs are a killer
This cache nearly sent me barking mad. Ha.
Was very glad to make the find today. Could so have easily been a DNF.
Was very glad to make the find today. Could so have easily been a DNF.
Started the day without a find on this one, attempted again after walking a loop, headed in a different way, still couldnt find it after a 20minute hunt maybe next time
Took us a little while, almost gave up, been far too long since we have done a cache. tftc
Did this at dusk, had to use torches to find this, let's just say its very well camouflaged
Although I managed to grab a random cache last weekend, today was my first full-on caching afternoon since lockdown. It was so great to be out in the bush again and Churchill NP is such a lovely place for a walk. Today I was out with team milljrh and abthings. It was overcast and gloomy, but thankfully we didn't get much rain.
This cache was our first of the day and the coords must have been spot on, because I saw it right away. Very cute! Of course, I totally forgot to get the clue - oops. All good at GZ. TFTC.

First GC since lockdown. In our permitted group of 5 with our hand sanitiser ready we set off. Found with abthings and ellenvgreg. HNB
How have I never made your acquaintance before Horace?
I have no record nor recollection of attempting to locate you before.
Simply not the entrance that I generally use here.
Today I was on a mission.
I wanted a particular challenge cache about half way along the back fence, my adventures began with this cache.
As I entered the dance floor the band began to play.
The music reached a crescendo within minutes.
I signed the Jitterbug's dance card and made my exit.
Challenges await but this was an excellent start to the afternoon.
Thank you.

Clever hide. Blends in pretty well until you actually spot it. Complete on a fairly warm day. Saw a lovely big brown snake on the walk along army track. Was very wary as I looked.
Found at 10:57 AM GAFF3.
Take 2! p-pprass was here nearly exactly 12 months ago and spent ages going around in circles but couldn't find the cache.
So today with the plan to do a few "challenge" caches in the park, he just had to have another go at it. Got to GZ and there was the all too familiar spindly trees all close together. Started looking and nothing jumped out at me for about 10 minutes Went back to GZ and as I lifted my head from looking at the GPSr, a very large "Horace" was just sitting there about 3 metres away Holy Moly - how many times did I pass that spot and didn't see that!
Thanks The Rustys

Out and about early on a sunny morning to add some more smileys at Churchill Park . I looked and looked for ages but came up short , decided to leave and do some other caches and returned a few hours later . Arrived at GZ second time around and bingo there is Horace . Thanks The Rusty's .
A fairly quick find this morning after working my way through the regrowth from the fires a few years ago.
Another nice cache thanks The Rusty's

Took me ages to find, but I decided to give my gps one more try and lo and behold I found that cache. I like the decoration! Tftc
Today was the first full day of the 2019 Bromance St Arnaud FIFO adventure. The serious cachers (Seffnjarah, Swellerfungus, Saywat? and JeznDez) headed out at sparrows with only a few miserable hours of sleep following a late night flight. We had a long list of caches planned.
Meanwhile, the not so serious partners slept in, dreaming of the wineries and distilleries to be visited.
Finally refreshed by food and coffee, we were all ready for a solid walk in this park to get the blood pumping. I spied this cache from afar whilst the group all wandered around oblivious nearby. Nicely camo'd and themed container.
Most logs were signed "Bromance". Many thanks, Rustys

In town to attend the St Arnaud Handicap, The Bromance Plus (Seffnjaray, CrookedPete seffnjarah, JeznDez and SayWot!) flew in tonight from Brisvegas. A late arrival did not stop us picking up a few caches, some more challenging than others. We finally made it to our accomodation at 2am (to be out at 5:30am eeek). Logs were signed collectively for all as "Bromance" to save log sheet space.
An interesting cache cammo indeed. Thanks

The Bromance (seffnjarah, Crookedpete and Swellerfungus) conducted a successful fly-in-fly-out mission from Brisbane to Melbourne for last year's mega event at Parkville, and decided to return again this year for the The Bromance Mega FIFO Adventure 2019. With the addition of Dez of JezNDez as the all new-and-improved Bromance, and sayWOT? joining us as caching 457 visa holder, the expanded team flew in for 3 days of caching around Melbourne and regional Victoria, with a visit to the St Arnaud Mega thrown in.
Despite not getting to our accommodation until well after 1am (delayed by the collection of some caches visited along the way ) we were on the road again at 5.30 am and working our way through "The List" of to-do caches for the trip. Knowing that there would be a lot of driving and sitting in the car during the weekend, I decided to schedule a bit of a walk around Churchill National Park to wake everyone up and get the blood flow going. This was our first stop as I needed another cache with BUG in the name to help me qualify for a challenge cache I had signed the log for. Took us a while to spot the cache although a number of us walked right past it. Logbook signed "The Bromance". TFTC

Ah promises, promises, especially those of the drunken variety! At a mid-year birthday party for seffnjarah Junior, Jez and the LadySim conspired to get the usually sober, in control, type ‘C’ Seff a tad tiddly. Fast-forward to November, and as a direct result of the inebriated pledges made that night, we found ourselves on a plane bound for Melbourne, ostensibly for the Mega, but mostly to assist Seff in pretending he’s not one step closer to F-I-F-T-Y by solving puzzles, climbing lots of trees, a hike or two, and maybe, just maybe, spending a couple of hours with several of our long suffering spouses who had been dragged along for the ride.
After a late cancellation from the Golden Stairs, the cachers on the trip comprised an extended Bromance; Swellerfungus, Crookedpete, Seff (seffnjarah), SayWot! and I, while LadySim, Jarah and Jez would be undertaking the very serious business of quality checking a number of vineyards and distilleries.
After some caching the night before, and a solid 2.5 hours of sleep, we were back in the car and cracking on with day 2 of The List. We’d managed to locate some coffee and carb-based food between the last cache and this, meaning that we were all a little brighter! Seff, Fungus and Saywot? made a quick find here while CP and I supervised from the path and considered the nearby hill and associated likelihood of Seff making us walk up it… Pretty good we decided! TFTC

Found Horace after some extensive wriggling through bush. Approached from the wrong side due to gps being off, but managed to find it anyway. Cool hide, was fun. Tftc The Rusty's!
The second of 8 caches today with Fitzelfleas and geochild. Really like this series Have never been to this park before. TFTC
The first find this morning whilst on a walk in this area of the park. Took a little while to spot it but got there in the end. Clue noted and in good condition.
Little bit of bounce on grand final day. But I’m glad I persisted. Cute container. It gave me a fright.
Thank goodness for the hint because I forgot which series I was looking for so I was looking in all the wrong places. Once I figured it out, I was worried about finding it, but I turned around and there it was right in front of me.
This was a corner of the park I’d never been to before, thanks for bringing me here
Thanks The Rusty's

Second find of this series. GPS was bouncing around a bit so had to look further out to find him. Tftc
I was nervous about finding Horace amongst the trees but I shouldn’t have worried - he was happy to be found.
At GZ I could see signs of a big jitterbug party - even bugs leave their underwear all over the place!!!

Day 23 of my travels. After leaving Tasmania and getting off the ferry this morning, it was another day tracking down a few target caches around Melbourne. Unfortunately I seem to have brought the Tasmanian weather with me and it was another day of intermittent showers and strong, cold winds.
This afternoon I spent the best part of 3 hours wandering around the Churchill National Park, enjoying the bush, spotting quite a few animals, finding a few caches and listening to the sounds of the nearby quarrying and rock crushing!
This was an opportunistic find while seeking out some of the challenge caches in the area.
Thanks The Rustys for the cache.

Took the deadly treadlie to Churchill Park and rode around a few caches.
A nice way to fill in the morning.
Took a while to locate Horace, not sure why, possibly looking at the wrong height.
I could see him from a distance away when I knew what I was looking for.
Thanks, Robmc.

Wandering around the stick trees. This took a while, but just as I was giving up there he was!
Was in the area completing the gadget caches and stopped to find this little guy on the way home. Took longer than it should of but got there in the end. TFTC
Some of the participants in our geocaching outing were stung by this cache. . Thank you!
I finally find myself out here and searching the area for Horrace. I was able to locate him without too much trouble and found him very friendly and in excellent condition.
Thanks The Rustys for the cache.
Found at 6:10 pm on 22/2/19.

Forget to search for this cache on the way into the park.
So on the way back we wait for other walkers to past, and than it didn't take long for the find.
A day out shopping and caching with D@geo

Found with gwd.aussie while on a caching day trip to Melbourne. It must have been the early start as we had initially walked passed before we realized it but returned at the end of the circuit to log this cache. Horace was very shy but it was not too long before he popped out to say hello.
Thanks The Rusty's

We were in the area with the primary goal of grabbing a cache that is about to be archived and was something a little bit special. So of course while here we thought we would try and make a dent in the area and add a few smileys to our map.
We had just moved the car to make thing a little easier for Ausfox; and his dodgy knee by cutting down the distance he needed to walk for some extra caches in this part of the park.
A quick find here for us we must have came form the right angle thankfully.
Thank you The Rusty's for the hide

Needing a reasonable easy day because of a knee injury, a walk around Churchhill park with Simsfamily and Neville devil seemed like a good idea, but with many more ups and downs than expected I spent the day in pain, but It was well worth it with a variety of great caches
We moved the car closer to this area to give my knee a little rest which didn't last long here.
I can report that Horace is safe and still in place
Log signed and replaced as found.

DNF at 4:26 PM.
Last cache for the day after spending 5 hours in this park and riding about 11.4 kms - and I couldn't find it
Went around and around picking my way through the fallen timberr and the trees - but I couldn't spot Horace. I even started to check the ground thinking it may have fallen, but nothing could be seen.

First cache in the series that I have found. Duly took note of the clue. Not sure how that works. Horace was very shy but he did pop out just long enough for me to sign in.

Another one in this series. I probably should be taking notes or something. I'm so bad at that and very very unorganized.
Illukaperi and I were in the area grabbing the gadget caches and some other ones on a whim. This was one of them and a really enjoyable walk. Well I enjoyed it. Iluka was complaining by now. Time to go home, so this was the last for the day as we made our way back to the car. Thanks to The Rusty's for an excuse to explore this area. Lovely!

Doing the gadgets series with day1976 and we decided to come down and get this one too. Didn't take long to find. Stuck my fingers in tree sap accidently.
