Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Aldinga for a few days and ranging from there to grab some finds. Scored another beautiful day but the nights are still chilly. Perfect day to get on the rail trail. Thanks for the hide
Thank you!! Our first time riding bikes in 7 years. I actually found it this time, not my partner

One of four OTD October caches logged this morning whilst filling in some free time before having to return to the city. Great day for a walk amongst the vines, and nobody else on the trail during my visit today. All original containers along here; all in good condition with dry logs. Thanks for the cache and the series LB.

I was out for a walk today and looking for the caches in this series. I made my way in the direction of Willunga from McLaren Vale before walking the 4km back to the car. Most of the caches were found fairly easily, though a few presented a few more challenges as I was looking but not clocking the caches! A personal trackables were visited. TFTC LíB
Found this one on our biking trip with our friends during our stay in Mount Compass.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 181. Blackwood Day 5. After a difficult day caching in the wet, I decided to head back down south near Willunga to do some caches along the rail trail and the Labs around Willunga itself. It was not very busy, but there were several family groups on the trail at times.
I had an enjoyable ride along the trail today. The OTD caches were all found without problems, one of the others was a bit wet. It was interesting to see the back of some of these grapevine fields.
Thanks for the cache LíB

First day of the school holidays and a sunny 24 degrees for a geocaching stroll through McLaren Vale. We made a quick find and on to the next!TFTC!
DNF. Lots of branches down so not sure if it was hanging on one of those. Had a look on the ground however difficult to search due to the weeds growing
Out chasing numbers again and today it was the October OTD and the Bletchley series and anything else that seemed like a good idea. Managed to finish what I'd planned just on dark with over 60 finds and only 2 DNFs.
Thanks to LíB for putting out this cache for me to find

Another day, another bike ride looking for caches. Staying nearby and part of this series was on the list for today. Tra La Laaa
GeoWife dropped SupaTurtle, SupaOrange and myself off in Willunga with our bikes. Our journey today took us along another bike way through to McLaren Vale. Good range of hides found today. Thanks
In Port Elliott today, great day for caching out to get a few near McLaren Vale before the heat hits later this week. TFTC
Down in what is easily the "Flavour Of The Month" for me this year... The Awesome!, McLaren Vale Wine Region [:x]
Not only for Geocaching but also for sampling the "Product" that this stunning part of SA has to offer {Already demolished a bottle of Sangiovese Rose 2019 from Chapel Hill Winery }
I left home real early with my Deadly Treadly in the back of the GeoMobile so i can finish off the OTD October Series
Rode from Kangarilla Rd in McLaren Vale where i parked the GeoMobile to this the 8th one.

First day out after Coronavirus lockdown. Enjoyed the chance to get some fresh air and a few finds under the belt. TFTC.
Good find with @Lasties01. Nice fresh logbook with a sharp pencil (for once). Tftc .
What better way to spend Valentines Day than doing a few caches, this seems to be a recurring theme for us on this day!
Geez Paul Hogan shares his birthday with heaps of famous dudes, Matt Damon, Bruno Mars, sigourney Weaver and Chevy Chase to name the few we recognized easily.
As kids we remember watching Paul Hogan and Strop doing television shows with Delvene Delaney and others. Half their sketches would probably be banned from television these days, everything is so politically correct. " Evening Viewers", or his "Anyhow have a Winfield" were very recognizable Hoges sayings.
These days a touch or two of plastic surgery are keeping him happy and we recollect he has also had a few run ins with the Australian Tax Office, what a true blue Aussie, no one likes the tax office haha.
Thanks LiB for another in the trail.

My caching goals for 2020. May as well aim high.
Complete the Calendar to have found both a mystery and a multicache on every day. Should be able to do one probably not both. [^]
After filling the calendar to have a minimum of 5 caches per day last year, let's try for 11 this year. Possible but not probable.
So today I just needed to find five caches including a multicache. So once again Sal joined me for the journey down Willunga Way and another walk on the Shiraz Trail.
Had to wait for a few cyclists at this one to zoom by before making another quick find.
***Thanks LíB for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Thank goodness the other Geokid found this one! We almost had a family feud. Tftc
This series was the target, off I set, found all the ones that are still available in good condition unless stated otherwise.
Today I headed to McLaren vale to clean up a bit more of the area and mainly target the OTD series. The weather was crap and not the best day to be out in a bike for 2 hours whilst it’s belting with rain.
Managed to also run into 2ysTassies along the way.

No swaps so adding our own. Easy find - TFTC and great series. Found on a windy and wet day. Got drenched on our bikes on the way home but luckily we were prepared for the weather.
Geokid enjoyed his bike ride along the rail trail and stopping to find caches on this sunny public holiday.
This was find #5 of 10 today.
Quick search and we found it but geokid couldn't reach it again. We sat on the bench nearby as geokid needed a snack.

Today jesswrigley and I decided to park at Willunga with our bikes, and geocache down towards McLaren Vale along the rail trail. It was a great afternoon that wasn't too hot. We managed to also get tempted by a winery stop halfway down, and then had a final wine at a McLaren Vale winery before riding back in the late afternoon. A nice day out primarily collecting 3LG's OTD series.
Nice little OTD fact - Good old Paul Hogan, a true Aussie legend! Cache was found without trouble, and all in good shape, thanks.

Out caching in the area today. Trying to rack up a few before the end of the year while I have some time. TFTC.
Can we possibly fit any more into our day, you bet we can! With no kids here spoiling our fun by theme parks, shopping and whatever else teenagers are into we are free are birds to eat, drink and cache. After a big day out of caching and eating and drinking we were keen to get a few more caches and drink a few more wines, this is Maclaren Vale after all and the sun seems to never set down here.
We headed on down to reception to grab some helmets to hit the rail trail at our back door, we then went to the self checkout of bikes. Mr 4ando stood there whinging and complaining about $11 per bike per hour while Mrs 4ando was jumping around like a puppy ready to go. He got a swift talking to that went 'Stop complaining like a little girl and slap your credit card against that thing.' Note to self: make sure he has more wine so forgets the hours we are out!
It was a scorcher of a day and a strong gale was blowing, there was no coolness in this wind at all but it was making it really difficult to ride one way, well that's what we were going with anyway not the wine that was drunk.
We merrily rode along grabbing the caches, some we found with ease and some we slapped ourselves when we eventually found them.
Tftc 3LG we love the rail trails (only when they have caches on them of course and with wine is an extra bonus for you SA's!)

It was a while ago that I started the OTD series heading towards McLaren Vale but never got it finished. Today was the day to complete it, with good weather made for a good afternoon of walking. With the series complete there was a few nearby caches that were picked up well as part of an enjoyable afternoon. All caches were found in good order.

Decided I needed to go for a walk. It was way too hot today. If the heat keeps up will go home soon. Too hot for a kiwi here
We decided that walking some of this trail would be a great way to spend a beautiful holiday Monday and find a few caches along the way. Thanks for the October OTD series. A bit of a stretch in another lovely tree. TFTC
Thats not a knife, thats a geocache! Hehe
