Got the solve method and result from a friend so wove this into my morning stroll. Nice hide here, replaced as found.Out for an early morning walk, again, and this was a pair of caches within a coo-ee of the bach. All good, and nice to get finds before breakfast. After a few weeks in Penang, Malaysia I'm back home and keen for a few days off away with mrs c. I'd booked the work bach prior to heading away so a 3 night break in Havelock North was appealing. Not a huge cache-fest, I'd decided to forego the Mega in Dunedin, but still nice to move around and pick off a few here and there. The weather was awesome, similar temperatures to South East Asia, but without the humidity. Thanks to all COs for their hides and maintenance.

Not too many people about, but pleased to find it in the first place I chose. Thanks

This puzzle has perplexed me for quite some time so reached out for a nudge on how to solve, with a gentle hint it all became clear. So happy to get this one found today and a really nice area for a cache which was fortunately quiet while we made the find. TFTC and the puzzle

I was able to solve this puzzle relatively quickly. The method was one I learned at the beginning of my mystery cache journey. Back to basics. I needed to read others' logs to give me a "which side" clue. On account of there being so many muggles walking by, it was difficult to not look somewhat suspicious Thanks for the mystery cache.

Cracked this quite a while ago with the help of another cacher, and had made an attempt a little while ago but it was muggle city at GZ. So was finally back in the area at a muggle free time. Was convinced it could only be in place, so was leaving when it wasnt there, but something luckily caught my eye as I was leaving Cheers

Was unsure how to find the coordinates for this cache, but with the help of a recent finder, we had them. Me and eimajesordaman decided wed go on a mini geo-trip. Came to find this cache and poked round the bridge for a minute. I had to put something back in the car, and by them time I got back eimajesordaman had the cache in his hands. Nice tricky find and enjoyed this one. Thanks mrBmrsP for the cache

Thank you for the cache!

I am still scratching my head over this puzzle. A team of us solved it with logic and some trial and error. I know how it works but I have obviously missed the clue as to how to make the link from puzzle components to cache coordinates.

I chose a good time to attempt to find the cache as there was nobody else about. I like the way it is hidden.

1 January 2023 14:10 TFTC bchefj&p for placing this cache, number 12166 for me.

Day 4 of the holiday trip. Boys are cycling between Waipukerau and Hastings today, while I act as support crew and cache where I can.

Not peaceful today, loads of muggles from many directions! Eventually found a quiet space, and started searching. Opposite side from what I expected.

#12,229. An interesting puzzle based on Palmbrook Avenue in Havelock North. Went for a peaceful wander to the final GZ, where it was all quiet at the time of our visit. Found after a short search and widening the area a little. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Thanks for the puzzle and placement, and for bringing us to this site, and …

We looked at this soon after publication and tried several different methods to solve without success, so put it aside. Knowing we were going to be in the area again this week, we had another look at it, then contacted the CO for a nudge or two in the right direction. Eventually the light came on and we got the geochecker tick. It didn’t take us too long to find today. A fave for the puzzle (easy when you know how) and the cleverly hidden cache. Thanks bchefj&p!!

Finally able to convert this question mark into a smiley. Smile And that's exactly what my facial expression looked like when the pieces fell into place and I got the green tick. Nicely hidden at the final co-ords, and cache and log in good condition. TFTC. Cheers.

It was getting dark, muggle were few. Still took a while to find the cache though.
You have no idea how long it took us to find the coordinates! TFTC

This cache took ages to figure out! But after trying millions of techniques and tricks to solve the coordinates we stumbled on a simple solution. Happy caching to those still to find this cache, it's a clever one!

After solving the puzzle I thought I had better get the cache. Searched for a while without trying to be obvious to muggles that were around but no luck

It took me a few minutes to solve the puzzle. I signed the log and took the Dog for a walk through the park. I didn't see any trees or flowers at this time of night lol

Thanks for the puzzle Cache, fouth green tick on the Geo-checker and second log in the book. The puzzle itself was an easy one to solve when compared to the other puzzle caches which have popped up in HB recently. Great to see the creativity evolving locally, keep up the good work, ooooh and this ones not a Premium Only!!! Even better. Had to take our wee baby girl to the nearby play ground once she spotted it from a far. Great area to visit. TFTC

Well this puzzle had is stumped for a long long time! Lots of different theories floating around the house and we learnt a lot about plants especially the kaffir lily. Thank goodness we finally came up with an idea and it worked. Once we arrived we found a piece of Jacob Scott art that would fit perfectly in our what's the art series but took some great pics Instead before going hunting for the GZ and cache. Thanks for the puzzle we enjoyed the challenge!

A bit of entertainment solving this one! tried a couple of different ideas before finally finding the correct solution. It possibly turned out a bit more difficult for me than it should have, but we got there in the end. Arrived at GZ an hour later and met up with Amyjae to claim joint FTF.
Thanks for another cool puzzle cache. Smile

I solved this one with my 'puzzle team mate,' Nickhbnz. It was lots of fun trying to work out the co ordinates and the C O sure did keep us on our toes with this one!! Nick finally had the "aha" moment and we were on our way before meeting up with a bunch of local geocachers at the pub. A fantastic start to the evening. Well done on your first puzzle cache P and B!
