No joy here, the search was cut short by a group of muggles walking along the path. Another time.
All good with the cache. Signed log and took the pathtag. Almost missed it stuck in the bottom there. Thanks for placing
Staying just over the fence so had ro go for thus quick one...eureka centre next door was grand...recommend...tftc
A little stroll along an old rail trail to this easy find. The windy day made it slightly unpleasant so didn't stay long afterwards.
12:29Following the belated National Tree Day planting event at Specimen Vale, I started walking off the scrumptious morning tea by continuing down the Bunny Rail Trail for this alphabetical hide.A nice quick find. Thanks, BallaratGeocachers.#9087
Leaving Ballarat today and heading to Colac area for a few nights before heading to Geelong for the end of my trip
Found with LittleBoss2 Sorceysal and Geo the puppy on a beautiful sunny Sunday in Ballarat. Thanks Ballarat gcs
Found with Bogonghazy, Sorceysal and Geo dog. Beautiful Sunday walk. Thanks for placing the geocache
I had come to Ballarat for lunch with my sisters at a pub in Black Hill. Although lunch was now over, leaving now would have put me in the worst of the Melbourne peak period... so I went caching instead. I was heading generally south... stopping for caches that were roughly on my route. Thanks **BallaratGeocachers** for putting this cache here.
TFTC. Setting up camp for a week in Murray Bridge before the MEGA for 29th Feb!Moving to Ballarat for another week afterwards. Last hurrah travelling before wooding season at home starts!Happy caching and safe travels!
Quick find, trying not to be seen by the muggles on the other side of the fence.T4TC

A trip to Australia.A part of Vlki travel around the world to down under. Thanks for the Cache and greetings from Vlki from Germany ??
After setting up camp at the caravan park, I had a quick look to see if there were any caches nearby. One just happens to be 14m away, how could we not grab it. Found with Lacelot and DustyEartha.Thank you
After my event near the railway station and walking around the last couple of the Past Schools adlab waypoints, I am heading back to the railway station to catch a train back to Bendigo via Melbourne.A quick find once I was at the right location, the phone wasn't really cooperating today. Thanks BallaratGeocachers for placing this hide.
Checked a likely spot but came up empty handed. Moved along a bit and from different angle I spotted the cache. Some water had got in but log was still dry.
On arrival, it appeared the cache was on the other side of the fence than me, where there are less caravans: David
Having attended a recent event in Brisbane where a fellow cacher brought my attention to the geo tour in Ballarat and its up coming finish in February, i knew this was something I had to make an effort to get to.I also quickly realised that the attribute for the geo tour is the last one I need to achieve a personal challenge so the planning began. After arriving in Melbourne to delightful weather, I made my way au to Ballarat last night I. Anticipation of a three day caching binge with some local geo art and the geo trail as the key targets for the long weekend.I jumped in The geowagon and ventured off the o soon find a nice parking spot. A short stroll later soon found me at ground zero. It wasnt long before the cache was found and the log signed. I returned the cache to its hiding space and made my way back to the car. Ready to head to the next adventureA big thanks to the cache owners of Ballarat for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
We are in Ballarat overnight for a Birds of Prey Encounter tomorrow. Our AirBnB is this side of town so I headed out into the lovely mild Ballarat evening on the bike to search out some caches. It took a few minutes by torchlight to locate this little container. Fortunately no muggles around at this time of night. All in good dry condition despite the lid not being the best fit. happened to mention there was a cache only 8m from where we were camped but on other side of fence. Next morning go to find and there was a cheeky message waiting for me.Thanks for the cache BallaratGeocachers.
I've come to Ballarat for a few days with the intention of completing the Geo Tour. While camped in the holiday park with some friends, Kbucky remarked that there was a cache only 8 metres from our camp. We planned to look for it in the morning.Being a bit of a nocturnal animal, I went and found it at 0230 on a beautiful clear night. Thanks for the fun BallaratGeocachers.
Out and about for a couple of caches after the lunch time event. Rather wet and windy however the cache was spotted on approach and once in hand was quickly signed. Then back to the car and off for the next one.
Thanks for this one BG...

After visiting the nearby Eureka Centre, we took a nice walk along the "Bunny" trail and to this geocache. A quick find was had, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. After signing the cache, I exited from the bushes and unknowingly surprised a dog walker who wasn't expecting a random person to just appear like that. I apologise for my impromptu presence, and we jogged back to Eureka's car park. Thanks BallaratGeocachers for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

This extended weekend, [jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T), infant Cottontail and I were visiting Ballarat from Brisbane, targeting the [Ballarat GeoTour (GT4A1)](https://coord.info/GT4A1). Highlights included the historical architecture, buildings, and artwork/sculptures of inner Ballarat, Ballarat Botanic Gardens, Lake Wendouree, Sovereign Hill, Eureka Stockade, and mountains Mount Buninyong and Mount Warrenheip. We were lucky to have great weather with no rain and mostly blue skies each day, which aided our enjoyment of our trip. Apart from the targeted GeoTour geocaches, our geocaching has largely been opportunistic following tourist sights and attractions, although we attempted/targeted higher D-T combinations from solved puzzles, and rare cache types like virtual caches, Letterbox Hybrid caches, and Adventure Labs.
Today, I had an early start to attempt Ballarat's drain caches that were recommended. A thoroughly enjoyable adventure marvelling at the historic drain brickwork construction.
After returning home and regrouping with the family, we proceeded to the Magpie challenge cache series along Frenchmans Lane, of which I was expecting to walk, but we used the rental car to drive the series. We then returned to Eureka Stockade where we visited the Eureka Centre museum, and had a play at the park's playground.
We then had a few geocache stops that were on our targeted list as we proceeded east to Mount Warrenheip, ensuring we found the 2001 oldie [Medievil](https://coord.info/GCBBE). It was then a final driving loop north/north-east of Ballarat to find our remaining [Ballarat GeoTour](https://coord.info/GT4A1) geocaches, stopping at Kirks Reservoir, Goldfields Track, and Black Hill Lookout. I also had a quick dunk/swim in Lake Wendouree, before commencing our drive back to Melbourne.
During our drive to Melbourne Airport, we had time to visit Bungaree, Ballan, Bacchus Marsh, and Melton, targeting interesting geocaches that included virtual caches, EarthCaches, and those with high Favourite Points.

Up visiting some family for the weekend so I thought if grab a couple over the weekend
I needed to find a cache today to fit in with my wheel of challenges. I had this bookmarked as a potential easy park in grab. On my way to pick up the little one from day care (V is also for Valerie ) I swung by here and had an easy find. Signed log book and returned. Had a bit of trouble getting the lid back on for some reason but got it in the end. Thanks for the cache and highlighting a nice walking spot.
Our walk on the way to this cache was interesting- an elderly women’s dog was having her do a run-around waving her walking stick as Saturday afternoon sport while she tried to get him home

A nice cache in a nice area for a walk today.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

Whittlesea Mega Wobble and Wade Tour: Day 2: Ballarat Geotour
Once again myself and Anymules were in Victoria on our way to a Mega event. We had scheduled two nights in Ballarat to do the tour and grab a few other caches in passing. [^] We started last night and had all of today to try and get them done. Wrong. Despite a full day from dawn to dusk we haven't finished and will be at it again tomorrow morning. This is what we did get to though.
A quick find here.
***Thanks BallaratGeocachers for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Found it very easily but the dog over the fence was not very happy for me to be there. TFTC
Isn’t it funny how hard things are easy to find but when they are right in front of your eyes you can’t see them beautiful track for taking the doggo for a walk. TFTC
