Due to compromised hide (thieving of containers) and also new parking restrictions and development signage in the area I've decided to let this one go.
Runway 264 cleared for landing!
Found cache, a little exposed to the elements.

Checked it today. The bison tube has been stolen - again. That's two gone now but each time the thief has left the log and tether. This spot has been compromised so it will be moved.
Forgot to log my DNF last week but revisited today and not sure how I missed it!
Thanks for the cache!

The Cut n Paste bit: Today I set out to find 25+ caches with different D/T combinations, to qualify for "The Unique Difficulty/Terrain Challenge" (https://coord.info/GC54RAX) and I'm pretty sure I was successful with 26 different combos, a few extra caches, and only 3 DNFs for the day.
Notes on this cache: I had just completed finding 25 caches for the challenge above, but thought I better find a 26th just in case. This cache was an extra D/T and was on the way home so, perfect. I was a bit amused at the signs at GZ saying not to park here, I mean there is an airport here, it's not like pilots are just aiming for the ground and hoping for the best. Although the is some fencing that *something* has run into, and I don't think it was a helicopter . I was glad to find the cache quickly, otherwise I imagine it could have taken some time searching. Signed log and replaced. TFTC!

was here on Saturday to skydive.
Made the trip to Sydney on a girls weekend away to do Tough Mudder but it got canceled due to the fires so we had to find an alternative thing to do.
Wayne was my tandem instructor and he definitely took the micky out of my fear, lol.
was a wonderful experience
I was a little nervous after the big jump that i totally forgot to find this caches.
Thanks

Slowly making our way north again after the Clear Waters Mega in Queanbeyan.
We're set up at a beautiful caravan park for a while so we'll see how many local caches we can find.
Found in the company of shaneo58. Great hint and found in top condition.

Out for the weekend doing some geocaching when this drive-in, almost ..., popped up on the radar. A helicopter was just taking off while another car stopped just before no no-parking zone. We parked on the other side of the no-parking zone and could easily walk to to GZ and do the duties..
On the way home from Newcastle I had some time at last to make some finds, it would be safer done on the way there but. Lol. Nice easy find hint and co ords are great. TFTC
We are travelling up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Redhead, for a short weekend getaway at the Redhead Beach Holiday Park, and grabbing a few roadside “park & grab” caches enroute. On Sunday we will be attending the Geocaching NSW “Newcastle Expedition - Memorial Park” Event at Stockton, then zigzagging our way back down to Redhead in an attempt to log 7 unique cache types (Event, Traditional, Multi, Mystery, Letterbox, Virtual, and EarthCache) on that same day, and gathering any other conveniently located caches along the way. This was the 5th of 12 finds for the day (day #1), and the 5th of 52 finds for the weekend.
After finding “Bison Trail #2” we drove the short distance along the Pacific Highway to this one, parking the geomobile in the designated parking area, and then strolling around to GZ for a nice quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found.
As we were about to depart a helicopter took off, running along the runway and passing just above our heads at GZ. It's a great spot for a cache. TFTC colleda.

Always happy to lurk around airfields but, sadly, not much activity today. Just have time to find a couple more of colleda's caches before heading home.

little roo and I were on our way back from a scout camp and pulled over to watch a bunch of skydivers land, in-between landings I checked the GPS to see if there were any near by caches we could grab to fill in a calendar day. We were just a few meters away and a nice quick find at that TFTC colleda
While still staying at Morisset we travelled around the area with whitewebbs collecting a few caches and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Darn, where is this cache?? We were sure we were at the right spot......D1 park and grab, right? We were also sure we'd searched it thoroughly. It was then suggested MrsG get out her super snazzy, never till this day used, TOTT..................aaaaaaand.......................BINGO! [^] The little blighter and attachment had gone where the goblins go. It's now back in place. TFTC colleda.
Thank you Opa Shrek for the hint as it really did help us in the end. Nothing like putting your fingers were the eyes can’t see. Happy to have found this cache on our way to fish and chips. Thank you CO for the cache.
Seems this one was gone when we were there. Glad to see its back up for grabs !
Catching up on some logging following our adventures at the 2018 OZ GeoMuster here in Lake Macquarie. Log book has been signed. Thanks for the cache hide.
Oz Geo Muster weekend Easter 2018. Day 3. Today I headed out with Fitzy_1965 and Minnek for a lap around Lake Macquarie and lots of caching in the bright sunny heat of the central coast. There seemed only a few options and I fear it may have been 'misplaced'.
Thanks.

Thanks.

Looked with Zobo04 and Alansee we spent way to long looking for this D1 cache. Gave up in the end.
A quick find while heading from the Mega to the flash mob event being held at Kahibah. After I moved on, it struck me that I may not have replaced the attachment device properly ... my apologies to the next finder if they had difficulties in extracting the cache from its home.
Thanks for placing a cache here colleda ... it brought back memories of the times I flew in here from Sydney on business back in the 1970's I think.

That was a tricky find but with persistence we eventually made the find. A couple of helicopter flew over us up the runway head on, it looked a really strange sight.
**The Day**
OCW *Little Kitten* and *DustyJapserJet*. Camping at *Old Mill* we packed up and left for a day of caching and drove right past numerous caches .... ggaahhhh!! Had to uturn as there was no way I was passing this opportunity up when I was so close. I did not plan for this Mega just threw things in the car and left, so I am bummed that I didn't get to solve and find the GeoArt. Not planning made caching difficult and meant things took longer. Ended up over the east side of the lake caching and then I discovered the Lab Caches, so had to retrace .... ggaahhhh!! Arrived back at the Oz Mega showground at 9pm and dinner was all gone except for one amazing guy who was still open and cooked us some yummy cheese and tomato toasties with hot choc. Hung around for a bit and then started the 3 hour drive south only to sit on the freeway just past Campbelltown in a long line of cars for some 30 minutes before being redirected back the way we had come. We went the back way and were able to rejoin the Hume southbound near Picton but the northbound ramp was now barricaded by police.
`14 = 14 0 0 [8)] not attempted. ---- 1 of 14 being event cache

Sneaky hide that took a few passes to spot something.

2 DNF's today so decided to lift our spirits on the way home with, hopefully, a quick park 'n grab. Parked very close & focussed our attention on the GPSr. Found our prize quickly, SL then tried to figure out the hint. That took a while until we widened our peripheral sight. Big laugh ensued when we saw the 'little' arrows! From personal experience, if you get the opportunity, I would recommend a tandem skydive from this location, the colours of the lake & ocean are truly beautiful! TFTC colleda

A change of plan led us this way, We had some solved puzzle and some other caches in our sights.
So many unfound caches with so little time restricting us to 1 day scramble. Lot of walking, only a couple of DNF. But a fun day in company with Wilbert67.
Thanks to all the CO for placing these caches. We will be back.

Thanks to the Hint, this was a quick find. This was an interesting place and we saw some parachute jumpers taking their leap from the plane.
Looking at what's available around caves beach and discovered 2 caches I thought I had marked off last time I was up that way. Sorry for the late posting.
11:04:00 AM. Heading north up the old highway and saw somewhere to park and made the find on a windy day. Log signed. Nothing happening at the airport today. Thanks colleda for placing this cache.
Thanks a quick grab on this one. Almost walk past it. Until I saw the attachment. TFTC
A night caching run with my son after dinner led us down this way. Our last find as we headed home. I was going to put off the main road a little , then I saw the dirt road and just kept on pulling off. It felt quite weird, like I was going to crash, but we did not. Cache was found quickly, which was good, as we were a bit late getting junior home to bed. Obviously no planes at this time of night.
Thanks for the nicely made cache!
