Went up to try find the cache today, but it was missing.
I am sad to hear that the cache was in such bad condition recently, I have been unable to keep up with my caches properly lately due to being extremely busy.
Thank you to all who have visited the cache!

Container isn't suitable for a geocache, too flimsey and is broken. Log is damp and mouldy
Found it but container is totally unsuitable for a geocache. Thanks for the placement
Yeah quick find but as others have said theres a big crack in the container and the logbook is wet and very mouldy. Didn't really want to sign it. Thanks for the cache
Found a couple of months ago but just realised we hadn't logged online. It was a quick find for us, just around the corner, but recalled that the logbook was either missing or wet. TFTC. #344
Found the cache easily enough but the container has large cracks in it and the log book is soaking. As we didn't want to damage the log book by opening it we signed our name on the back. Will need attention. TFTC
Easy find. Yep log book is pretty wet and container needs attention. Lots a muggles around today.
Log is really wet Josh, and container a little broken. Let out an earwig. TFTC nice place to sit in the sun and drunk my coffee.
Love some nice easy caches to boost the total. This one was great. Log was a bit damp but still able to write on it. Thanks
This one really needs to be replaced with a sturdier container. The log is wet, the bag wasn't closed and the container is cracked. We were watched the whole time by a lovely dog who lives across the road.
Found during a mini get together and Papamoa bike ride with TNX Pro, NZBiscuit and Toastershoes.
The log was quite wet but we were able to sign it. The container needs to be a bit sturdier. Nice hide, TFTC.

Easter Weekend and a post on Facebook for a bike ride to collect a few caches. Excellent idea so joined in. Another quick find
Easy find but container is fulled up with water needs replacement unable to sign Log because was to wet
found on sunday morning bike ride with friends. didn't even notice the road right by it mentioned in the description?!
Son found this, we had our dog as there was muggles everywhere. She was great cover TFTC
#11820. The name of the cache suggested it might be hard to find, but when we got the GZ the cache was easy to locate. TFTC.
We had a bike ride around Papamoa yesterday afternoon, but realised we needed to spend more time here so this morning, StreetWalker loaded the bikes onto the car and we headed back. We had mixed results in the morning - 10 finds and 4 DNFs, but the afternoon's tally was much better and we found all caches searched for.
Yup, it was in the bushes, but not many to choose from so a quick find for StreetWalker. TFTC.

Fairly easy find but do keep in mind all the muggles around as it is a busy but beautiful spot, take a walk around and collect the surrounding geocaches
We are cruising around over the long weekend, picking up caches as we go.
Nice hide, nice spot

Another nice easy park & grab. A few muggle vehicles about so tried to be discrete with the log signing. SL. TNLN. TFTC!
It was all quiet at GZ, so it made for stress free cache hunting. Thanks for the placement Josh_W.
Out for a bike ride with Jensen.bx7 & our geo lab today. The Papamoa trails are great for this. I used to work near here so had a fair idea where it would be. The cache was exposed & visible from the road. We signed the log & replaced the cache out of sight.

Joined up with yorkshirekiwi83 today and headed down to Papamoa and Mount Maunganui for a long day of caching. We arrived in Papamoa early in the morning and then spent the rest of this hot summers day making our way to The Mount and finding what caches we could along the way. A quick find of the cache here, while on our travels. TFTC!

Vistra and I had decided to go for a full on day and head down to Papamoa / Mount Maunganui to see if we could get some numbers and quick drive bys.
Nice quick find, TFTC (BTW the container is starting to break)

For our last day in Papamoa, Ninalila and I went to a walk to find some caches.
It was a really nice walk again, with the sun and good weather.
We found almost all the caches. Sadly the one we really wanted to find finished by a DNF
We logged with our team name : Lekiprokos
Thank to owners for the caches and the discoveries

Lovely Sunday to be out and about picking up some of our local caches. Not many people around, so we were lucky. Nice size cache to finally put in a larger TB that has been looking for a home for a while. Yay!
Container surviving so far, all good ... TFTC

Quick find, log dry, TFTC. We did our best to be stealthy as GZ is in full view of nearby houses.
a great Saturday of caching in Papamoa
OK - how does this not get muggled all the time lol

There were a couple of muggles at the bus stop so I sent Miss Geckoh to do the honours, quick sign and replace while Mrs Geckoh walked to the one up the path.

Out on an epic caching adventure with HKCB, iammrwalker and 11hpg11 as an honourary guest and the 'K' in signature 1HIK or HIK1 to make a dent in the caches of Tauranga.
No hauntings tonight, just a good park-and-grab smilie! Cheers anyway, it's a pity that we couldn't experience the back-story

This geocache was found on my third trip to Tauranga/ The Mount/ Papamoa in the company of HKCB and 11hpg11 with a plan to clear out the area. We were joined today by Kyb3r another Hamilton Geocacher who was keen to be part of an infamous ‘mad mission’. We signed the logs with an anachronism of our Geocaching handles, usually ‘1HIK’ or ‘HIK1’. There were plenty of memorable moments and a lot of laughs as well. It was another long day; I got up at 4am and didn’t get to bed until midnight. We were a little disappointed not to meet our goal only getting about half way through our list of unfound caches. However we did tackle a number of difficult and complicated hides. We found some great and memorable caches and of course now have a great excuse to organise another trip to the area. Thanks to all the CO’s who provided us with such a great day out.
We came here late in the evening hoping for some eerie weird goings on but unfortunately it was all quiet at GZ tonight.

Another big mission for our little Hamilton team. Maybe this time we can clean out Tauranga and the surrounding areas. Our team consisted of HKCB, Iammrwalker, Kyb3r and myself. We signed the logs as HIK1 (or 1HIK as the day went on!) Another 4am wakeup and we were on the road by 5am. Back home by 11pm I think it was, it was all kind of a blur by then! We were fueled by Sour Patch Kids, B.K., Caffeine and quite a few painkillers. We had a great day with a large variety of cache types, sizes and difficulty! Thanks to all the cache owners for their hard work on giving us some great quality caches to find. We had a few milestones hit today and I think we all had a great time. Looks like we might be back again some time in the future!
I read the description on the way to this cache and was quite excited for some night time activities but sadly all was quiet and still at GZ. We soon made the find and back in the car on the way to the next cache with no paranormal activity around us.

This is the 3rd mission over to Tauranga in recent months with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker to turn the place into a bunch of similes, but this time Kyb3r joined in on the fun also. An early start from Hamilton meant we were greeted by a fantastic sunrise of Tauranga as we made our way down from the Kaimai's, and by the time we had decided we had had enough the sun had well and truly gone to bed, but we did see it disappear while halfway up the Mount.
We found some great caches throughout the day and had some very memorable moments, and I even hit a major milestone, my 5000th cache find. We signed the logs 1HIK (an acronym of our caching names) or some combination of these letters to save room on the logs. A big thanks to everyone for all of the great cache hides.
We were all up for a bit of excitement tonight but all nice and quick tonight.

Out trying to keep my streak going, so because I hardly sleep anyway thought it might be easier and more economical on the gas if I go down paps just before midnight and get one cache before and one after ticking off 2 days And as there was this cache then The mini forest as well a few hundred meters away looked the perfect spot to do it.
Cheers Josh for the caches really helps the streak feel free to put out more
p.s you might need to go replace the lids on both the caches as they cracked

Not a very nice spot for a cache - lots of rubbish and very smelly. I really didn't want to put my hands anywhere in there. Luckily spotted the cache and yes the lid is cracked
#430 - Took the toddler for a walk this morning to come find this one. Not the prettiest place lots of rubbish , beer cans and broken bottles. But we found it, got another smiley.
The family is away today so time for me to grab some more of those local caches. Nice quick park and grab. TFTC

Quick find. Lid of container is cracked. ... hid upside down to prevent water getting in.
Well another smilie never hurt but one question that jumps to mind, is why is this a premium cache?
Found cache quickly as it is very exposed.
Signed log and replaced as found.

Found it, that's about all I can say. Would've picked up some of the rubbish but had my 4 yr old and 3 yr old with me and did not want them poking around in there. Cheers anyway.
well.... what can I say? At least you didn't spray paint this one... these plastics don't like spray paint as the plastic becomes brittle.
What else...? Cachers have a variety of placement options and make these decisions based on things like historical significance, personal significance, views, landscapes, points of interest even just for the challenge or to be intentionally difficult. I haven't figured you out yet Josh but this cache was just a FTF for murray'n'janet, a spot on a grid for squirrel nutcase and number 720 for me.
Cheers for another smiley

Managed to park on the grass beside GZ in case I had to scratch about a bit but spotted it quickly. Thanks Josh, all good.
7.55pm - Think we almost sprung the CO the night before placing this one, we did a u turn right here as he went into the bushes. SLTFTC
Day 17 of a hopeful 50-day caching streak... Sharing the challenge with Gap (of Fap and Gap).
Notifications came in around 4PM. However, we had a school function from 5-6 and I had the key MC role... Figured that we'd be happy enough just to sign the log on the same day this cache was published (as per the requirements for the Geocaching License Challenge we are working on). I sent Gap a message to say I was keen to join him if he planned to head over to Tauranga tonight. Our function finished at 6:45. That would be right...
This one was not far from our cache find for the day. By the time we arrived, the FTF had long gone. But we were content to sign this off on the day it was published. Even darkness could not mask the rubbish under the 'bush'... TFTC.

Well we went in daylight and luckily there were few cars on the road. At first we thought the cache had been muggled because a Sistema was lying in the open, but then we found the cache with empty logbook
we understand night-time beinga good time to be spooked by the nearby pump and find this....darkness will cover some bits of rubbish here...we picked up a little. Thanks for the cache.
