I have decided not to replace this one as to much risk that it'll disappear again.
We could see the likely place this cache probably was but is not there now. Will need replacing

West Australia 2016 trip. Day 2. Today was the drive from Balranald to Burra. Including Mildura, Renmark and Morgan. A long day with plenty of caches along the way.
Thanks.

Found myself in SA for other reasons this month, and McPhan agreed to join me for the trip back. The main purpose was the Yorke P geoart, but we finished these faster than planned, so had a relatively leisurely day around the Riverland heading east. We'd been though here several times over the years, and had largely cleaned the place out. Some great caches today, the product of an active caching community.
Sorry for the relatively generic logs, but after 900 caches in 6 days, I'm largely relying on the GPS record.
Thanks Moneydork for the cache.

10013 and 2nd of 90 found today.
Apologies for the generic logs. I usually try to write at least something different for each find but with 900 finds in 6 days there are a lot of memeory gaps.
I appreciate the efforts put in by all hiders and the maintenace as well. The efforts of South Australian cache hiders is why this is our 5th SA Odyssey - you keep putting them out and we'll keep coming over. (Power trails help to okay [:o)])
Riverland is a great area and having friends in the area helps too - and many thanks to Steve and Michelle for putting us up.

Cache was a quick find and sign and then we drove in to Martin's Bend for a look around. We've visited this area a few times before and it was always very crowded. Today, however, there were very few people here and, being a Saturday and during school holidays, we were quite surprised to find the area so quiet. TFTC
A weekend to test out our kayaks, our new tents and to see if our geo-pup can handle camping near other unknown people. ......But it was hot...NO it was BOILING!. Fri night we arrived and went on a guided sunset kayaking tour--AMazing!! (But no caches near-by) Saturday was hot, hot, hot. Poor Elf was less then impressed with this much anticipated camping trip due to the extreme heat. Geo dog didn't care as long as she could swim-- and that she did. Finally Sat evening theElf and I set off to do the night cache. Nerves were a bit rattled as we saw the bush walk, as it was now just perfect weather for snakes. Thankfully the cache was soon in hand and no snakes were seen here or next day.
Sun-- 40+ and we decided we would pack up and head home around lunchtime...so I got up with the birds and spent a a couple of hours with geo-dog, caching.
Grabbed a few on the way home and now we are 1999!! Yippee. TFTC everyone. I grew up on the river and we have had about a 9 year drought re holiday visits due to the pain of losing family and too many memories--- but I missed it too much-- and Berri is perfect- We WILL be back. Just making sure all my logs are up to date and the 6th of Jan 2016 was not good. Missed logging almost 3 quarters of the days finds. Thanks Moneydork.
Time for a cache maintenance run along the wandering heroes trail in cahoots with Aussie M&M, CP Wanderer and Clare007. That done it was off to the Loxton Pub for lunch. [^] That done it was time for repay CP and grab a few he needed and a few more besides.
Time to grab a few caches from Marty. We had no problems finding this so we could SIGN it.
Thanks Moneydork for the cache.

We found this cache today at 10:20am as number 7 of 12 on our Too Hot to Cache but We Went Anyway on the Last Day of the Year Caching Morning. A nice and simple start to this set. Thanks from D & H B-A.
I could win an award for most caches found but not logged online. Please forgive this very generic log. But you see, its SAGA nomination/voting season and my votes won't count if I don't log my 2015 finds... If I admired your cache you'll get a favourite point from me and I'll likely come back and edit this log once I've caught up. If this generic log makes you unhappy - delete it. Life's too short to worry over it, I had fun finding your cache either way. Cheers!
Brodie, muggle partner and I headed to a Christmas Day tea event in Berri.
We had a lovely time thanks to our wonderful hosts, Tounga and Moneydork, so much so that we stayed for 2 nights and finally headed home when familial duty called.
Today we all headed out to test SEMIK's new geovehicle in the sand and bush while caching.
Brodie came with muggle partner and I in Harry and we managed 15 finds for the day which was rather good considering breakfast was about midday and caching stopped very early evening when the drinking started
Most of the finds made today belonged to our hosts and their generosity in accompanying us while SEMIK and I searched for their caches was much appreciated [^]
This was a quick find as SEMIK and I both rushed for the obvious hiding spot

Another quick easy find. That's it for the day - getting to hot and the kids are getting restless! TFTC.
