Loving the Camelion trail.Container was damaged. I had one with me. And replaced it. As a thanks for the series
Thanks for the cache. Who would have thought to hide one in a hidden log in the middle of the woods. What a great find at night time
This was the ninth of fourteen finds for the evening. It was a quick and easy find. The song "Karma Chameleon", by Boy George and Culture Club, was released when I was in Year 7 at school, and it stayed at the top of the charts for months. It was my favourite song! I had a book abouot Boy George, and a life-sized poster of him on the back of my bedroom door "Red, gold and green"Thanks for the cache, AngelG! * * * * *I set out after work the start finding the geocaches in this area. The sun was just setting as I found the first one; with every cache that I found after dark, I decided to keep going. I finished the series and hour after dark, by the light of the waxing gibbous moon. It was a glorious night out, and I was happy watching the stars in the heavens and my moonshadow on the path ahead of me.
We walked past but were quick to get to the right spot before quickly finding the cache. TFTC
Haven't been out caching for a long time so decided to head out today. I haven't done the Kama caches before as it is a no go zone for the geodog. I no longer have the geodog so thought I would head our for a good walk. This was the tenth cache of 13 for the day.
TFTC!

Out with runner5ive on a sunny day to grab some caches and explore new areas of Canberra. (Well new for us).

Did you know that Boy George was bitten by a reptile?
He should’ve gotten himself a calmer chameleon.

Todays seventh find. A lovely day for meandering through the squelchy Kama reserve. Met up with a creepy crawly at GZ and found some $$$ in a cache for the first time ever (only 10 cents though so don’t get too excited lol). Thanks for the cache

In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Most worried about spiders and snakes on this one. Found unscathed. Thanks for the cache.

"Food was cold, the burrito was so poorly wrapped that it looks like it was just scrunched up in a ball and it fell apart whilst trying to eat it. There were no serviettes to clean up the mess created by the explosion the bad wrapping created. There was too much garlic sauce that made it even messier to clean up. I felt that the burrito artist had very little idea what an actual burrito looks like and how it's meant to function in the whole fast-food convenience world. The one saving grace was that it actually tasted like a burrito. I will not be ordering from this store again for quite some time."
Do you think you're living an ordinary life? You are so mistaken it's difficult to even explain. The mere fact that you exist makes you extraordinary. The odds of you existing are less than winning the lottery, but here you are. Are you going to let this extraordinary opportunity pass?
At that moment he had a thought that he'd never imagine he'd consider. "I could just cheat," he thought, "and that would solve the problem." He tried to move on from the thought but it was persistent. It didn't want to go away and, if he was honest with himself, he didn't want it to.
She patiently waited for his number to be called. She had no desire to be there, but her mom had insisted that she go. She's resisted at first, but over time she realized it was simply easier to appease her and go. Mom tended to be that way. She would keep insisting until you wore down and did what she wanted. So, here she sat, patiently waiting for her number to be called.

An area that I've probably driven past hundreds of times over the years, and never knew what it was all about.
Now thanks to this series I do.
A great stroll through a well maintained and posted track.
Purple, Blue, PINK, Black, Green.
Number 3 in the series for me. TFTC.

Left the GeoHound at home today to walk this pretty little circuit at the Kama Grasslands. My approach to this one from the (different CO's) 'Karma' cache was straightforward, and the grass was less long here (yay!). Still glad I had my reptile-dissuading boots & gaiters on, although I didn't see any slithering animals, just lots of roos and cockatoos.
At GZ the cache was found without issue and in good condition. Thanks, AngelG27 and HypoHippo - a lovely spot.

Good view from this one!! Time to do a U-turn and head back up the hill though ?? TFTC!
It has been great to have these caches on a picturesque walking trail so close to home. This is the last one we need in the area so GLISS! and I are going to have to find a new place to walk! Thanks for the awesome little series. A fast find today
Found with Nibletricecakes. This is the last one for us to find in this area - we've enjoyed our walks here. TFTC.
Spent a couple of very pleasant hours walking around Kama Reserve picking up caches and exploring. Great fun. TFTC
I cannot believe how many folks were out here today, some running, some jogging, some walking and at least 2 of us geocaching. Well, one cacher and a muggle friend! Quick and easy find, sign and replace before the next 'group' came through. TFTC
Found at 2:52:00 PM
Working on my 10km radius and despite the long drive to get here, these are within my 10km radius. There was a lady in the park testing out a drone which going to be used for tracking animal tags. It made quite a racket!
Thanks AngelG27

With today's air quality only at 120 AQI instead of 1,000- 4,000+ like it has been recently I rejoiced and decided to go out and breath some fresh? air and find some caches! Apparently this quality is still "poor" however after the conditions we have seen recently I forgot what good air looks like, as I was quite happy with today!
I decided to FINALLY go out and explore Kama Nature reserve. I believe this is the only nature reserve north of LBG that I haven't cached in..... crazy! I was prompted initially after realising that the letterbox within it, was my only unfound letterbox in the ACT!
It was quite warm and sunny, so I brought a bottle of water along which I finished up about 10 minutes before I got back to the car, not bad. I managed to find all the caches inside the reserve, as well as the puzzle down by the river which was a bit of a hike, and of course the letterbox which was the main goal!
I got back to the car and was semi-keen to go pick up a couple of other new caches on the side of the road nearby, but decided I was already a bit buggered and hungry even though I had only walked for 1.5 hours! So decided to go back into the cool of my house and out of the air once again.
Thanks!

I was rather enjoying my first foray into the Kama Reserve, enjoying the sights and sounds of nature, but as I approached this cache site, I could hear a motor. Seemed a bit out of place. It was a man using a small tractor to spray weeds within the reserve. And he just happened to be working not far from GZ! I stopped and had a drink while I waited for him to move off, before retrieving the cache.

So pleasant walking in this reserve, easy find, unfortunately spoilt by the power lines, tftc.
Travelgran and I having such a good time in this reserve. Quick find following the hint. TFTC
Got eyed off by another maggie heading to this one. But the wind was behind and helped push me up the hill. Battery getting low on phone so rushing to get them done. TFTC
I have been eyeing off the Kama reserve for ages but have never got around to doing it, well, today that all came to an end and I cleaned it out.... doing 11000 steps along the way.
Nice variety of hides out here, some sistema's, a proper letterbox, a large gas cylinder thing and even a jar!
Was pleased I has also sorted out the puzzle cache thats down this way, it would be a long way to go just for that one.

I have been meaning to come for a walk and find these caches for ages, since...well, 2015 . Finally got here. All quick finds. This cache and log are good. I left a gold and 'diamond' pendant. TFTC AngelG27 and HypoHippo.
The danger level is high with this cache!!! A very cranky Maggie nearly prevented us but we soldiered on!
As I approached I saw several likely hides so it wasn't long before I had cache number seven for the day found and logged. Onto the next one. TFTC
Another quick find late on a Sunday afternoon, cleaning up smileys in the Kama reserve.

TFTC - found with Darkmadviking ! Great spot to train with some walking today for our trip at the end of the year is to Everest base camp.
With the weather turned warmer and slightly longer days I couldn't face going home so am out caching once again. As I retrieved the cache a friendly kangaroo looked on. So much colour variation down here.
Cache found in good condition. Tftc

Found this one out in the open on the ground. All was in tact so possibly moved by an animal. Replaced it where it clearly should have been. TFTC
A lovely walk through Kama on a foggy morning. Very quiet, very pleasant - a lovely way to spend my time.
A thoroughly enjoyable little series. All nicely placed but easily found (sorry for the generic logs, but each one gets a unique photo from the morning, but not necessarily near GZ!). TFTC
