Looks like it might have been in a tree/ stump that has since been removed. A cleared area with a bunch of saplings now.
Like others before me I could not find this one. 
I expanded my search to include ALL of the trees on this side of the road (co-ords had me about 10m from the nearest tree) and also the other side of the road.
Firstly, is the cache actually there?
secondly, (the most common problem when people cannot find a new cache) is Check the published co-ords against what the actual co-ords are. Usually just a typo.

Well no joy for this one. Co-ords had us in the middle of a grassy area. Looked around nearby tree and large rock. Nothing.
Hmmmm. Searched here for a ridiculous amount of time - especially for a 1.5 star difficulty.
No luck.
