We are off on a trip to the Birdsville Races and then across to Queensland - the plan is for about 6 weeks of travel - all going well.
Week 1 we have travelled from Portland to Farrell's Flat near Clare.
Day 9 we packed up our camp and ventured 50kms to the town of Spalding that is sadly lacking in tennis equipment.
After an early lunch we jumped on the bikes and started the channel caches. After we had completed this section of the channel we took the slight detour to collect this one. The bees are still behaving.
Thanks for contributing to our holiday pinkmundi

Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. The Geo-men decided on a biking day so they were dropped off while Mrs ILT and I cached around the area. Left fresh log sheet. ’s active at gz so beware. Thanks pinkmundi
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. Based in Peterborough, we are exploring some of the surrounding areas. While the boys were peddling along the Mid North Channel, we girls were picking up a few caches of our own TFTC sadiesmate, all good here if you don't count the bees.
Out for a few day caching around Clare Valley & beyond with Team Waldron - our acronym is TWX2

Quite a buzzy little place so didn't stay at the cache site but slow walk around the cemetery to pay resoect to forefathers. TFTC pinkmundi, log is nearly full.
A return visit to Clare was planned for the long weekend with the JAMS crew plus tallbikestan to find a lot of the caches that we didn't get to on our last visit along with the Rattler, Riesling and NE trails as well as the Mid North Channel Country trail. [^]
We had three very full days with perfect weather for caching, lots of bike riding, lots of walking and lots of driving along dirt tracks. We were lucky it had not recently been wet as some of the roads we drove on would not have been passable if wet. Loved the scenery at this time of year with everything looking very green as well as the bright yellow of the canola crops.
A fun weekend of caching, lots of caches found and lots of cool places visited.
Thanks for the cache Sadiesmate.

A big long weekend with the JAMS Crew (JJ52, allister w(me), mogni, Sir Spectre and tallbikestan). We road from Riverton to Stanley Flat on day 1. Then more riding near Spalding on day 2. Then finished the weekend with finding caches around the area in the car. TFTC
The JAMS crew went on an October long weekend adventure back to Clare. We brought Tallbikestan along as we were targetting the bike tracks and he is the best rider amongst us. Allister W and sir_spectre we the other main riders, with JJ52 and I the support crew and walkers. A huge weekend of fun and adventure was had by all, until I made SS sick with my cold....oops.
Thanks to all those who have kept not just the bike tracks but all the other caches alive for us to find.
All caches signed as JAMS.
Thanks to pinkmundi from mogni

The JAMS team ( JJ52,Allister w, Mogni, and sir_spectre minus mitchell&hound ) but Tallbikestan was with us instead and we where out for there usually monthly caching adventure. This time it was over the october long weekend instead of the usual day trip. The taget this time was Drop into the Light a long ladder cache on the way to clare and then to clear the Rattler trail, Riesling Trail, Ne Trail saturday on the bikes and then sunday do the Mid North Channel Country bike trail. Monday on the return home was to get Peter's view a 2001 cache. Of course there was many, many other's found on route to the various target for the weekend, somewhere around 260 found by the team. It could have been more but we were not going at a flat out pace, just steady and getting a blow out on the bike 1.6 km's from the end of the Mid North Channel Country bike trail didn't help. I didn't see any snakes this trip but allister did, he saw 5. The caches this trip where written in as JAMS, i forgot the stamps. Also 1 cache was placed by the JAMS team this trip. Out of all the bike tracks i preferred the Rattler /Riesling trail. I like riding through the very rich ( after all the recent rains ) fields of yellow flowers.
Decided to look for some easily found cachers today after seeing North Clare B grade win over MinMan in first semi final played at Spalding.
Very nice day up to 21°C and some wind.
Found and signed nine logs this afternoon around Spalding area and added some bouncy bowls or dices to some of the finds.

Came down to Clare for the JWLE not to play the game but to play the geocaching game. Didn’t have much of a plan so when Courtney Rose and Gridge98 asked me if I wanted to tag along with them to cache around Spalding I said a big YES.
We found some great caches and did a fair bit of walking. Then back to Clare for the juggling flash mob very Carnivale.
After the flash mob I headed out on my own to pick up some caches south of Clare and to do the Carendo adventure lab. On the way stopped for a cleansing ale at Pikes with CoCo Pops.
Arrived back to Clare after dark had my only dnf of the day and then on to collect my curry and back to my super deluxe accommodation for a well earned rest.
Big thanks to all the CO and of course the JLWE Committee for a fun day.
Love an old cemetery TFTC

Out of the way cemetery with a great view of the countryside. Definitely worth a little detour out of town.
Visiting Auburn to catch up with SpudBex. Today we headed off for Mr Felix to ride his bike along the Mid North Channel caches.Of course we had to stop before and after, [:o)] all in all we ended up with 52 smilies and 1 bee sting from a cache we ended up not attempting.
More spots that we would not have visited without Geocaching taking us along for the explore.

TFTC what a lovely resting place for those who have left our earth. So sad when you see the little graves of lost babies & children
Always interesting to see where a town hides its cemetery [xx(] - some are close, some are in the town (even next to a church), some are miles away . Why is that [?].

Found by Mary & David at 1030. Always good to convert a previous DNF to a find. A FP this time too. Mary loves cemeteries for their social history, symbolism and graveyard architecture. Not a very old cemetery, but with some proud Scottish names, and even a Gaelic epitaph. You could do some serious family history research here. Hopefully, some descendents still live in the area. Many of the carvings are still as crisp as a century ago. The hand reaching from heaven, the draped urn, the obelisk, the beautiful rose for a young woman, and so many babies. One was just called Unknown Infant. So sad. Our thanks to pinkmundi.
