A few messages & logged DNF- I went and checked on these and unfortunately it has gone. I will endeavour to replace this one.
What a lovely trail walk this was, quieter than the other lakeside walk and away from muggles and park rangers. Heaps of kangaroos spotted too. Unfortunately did not find even though did a circular sweep of all the leaf litter, low logs, shrub in the area. Did spot an empty square ditch in the ground that could have been where it was - If so it is now sadly gone.
I am unable to travel due to the current 6 weeks lockdown and will look at it in 6 weeks time.
Out one my own today with the bushwalking group. Could not find them so decided to walk the lake on my own. Amazing amount of kangaroos here. Lets hope they can survive us humans. Had me going this way and that with no joy. Called for support and made the return to make the find. How did I miss it the first time. . Thanks for the cache 4B Ninja's
Took a little while as gps was bumping around, turned around and BINGO. Out for a day of caches at the Lake - TFTC
Made this harder on myself than I needed to. Spotted by visiting geomom. . Thank you! Fav point for amazing cache organisation!
Time to check in and see that all things are good with this one and indeed it is.
Given the current climate of Covid19 best we put this to sleep taking into account the government's advice.
Found early this morning whilst visiting this section of the park for the first time. GPS took a long time to settle. I wondered around in circles for quite a while before finally spotting the cache. The best organized cache container I've seen I think. Dropped off a trackable I been holding on to for a while and picked up a very cool looking Geocoin. Thanks for the Pathtag and the cache, which is in good condition.
I was in the area and thought I'd check out a couple of caches. After reading the sign, I set about looking for the cache. The GPS wandered a lot under the tree cover and I looked around for quite some time. I even tried the old co-ordinates but again had no luck. I used a stick to prod all around until finally, I heard a hollow metal sound. During all my wandering, my GPS never pointed there, but that's just the way it goes.
So glad to have finally found it. And it is the best organised internals of an ammo can that I have ever seen. "A place for everything, and everything in its place". Thanks to the 4 B Ninja's for the cache and a lovely walk.

After finding the nearby night cache with Team Knight_shift, we wandered along and signed this log, before departing the park. It was Kym who spotted the well hidden cache, while the boys blundered around looking in all the wrong places.
Thanks for showing us this feature Ninja's.

On a high from a successful night cache, Crustyvarmint, Steve & myself continued in the heat of the night to grab this one. After checking out the cart, and reading the history of the area, we began our search. Not too many places to hide an ammo can, yet we still managed to make hard work out of finding it.
Beautiful area 4 B Ninja’s. Thanks for bringing us here.

Quick, easy find with my muggle friend on a lovely day for a walk around Lysterfield Lake Park. It's my first visit here even though I only live a 30 minute drive away. Really enjoyed the park.

Check on it's position and co-ordinates have been updated to indicate that it is in play.
After a message from a returning finder, I thought it best to check on this cache & it is no longer in place. I will replace the container and find a suitable location not too far from the original spot.
The GPS bouncing around made this find a bit amusing; I thought we were still 15 metres away when I saw it right in front of me! TFTC!
Haha nice and easy find. Good Friday walk part way around the lake with family. Cheers.

A great walking trail. At GZ a little bit of searching and nothing was showing up. I stopped, scanned the area and something made me search a bit further. Yes, what a great container and a very neat and orderly setup inside. Log signed and all back safe again.
Thanks for your efforts.

Caching in Lysterfield park . This was my second find for the afternoon . I like the surroundings . Didn't spot any kangaroos . A very well organised Cache . Thanks 4 B Ninja's
Quick find on a trail run. Just happened to stop right at GZ and remembered I was supposed to tick off today in the calendar, and look at that. A conventionally close-by, and super organised, cache. Perfect! Gets a fave from me because of this.
TFTC!

A very well organised cache... nice one.
Took about 15 mins to find this one hidden away but got there.

Great cache and hiding spot! A little more challenging for a beginner, but a great way to learn more about geocaching. Took nothing, signed the log book. TFTC
Found after a nice long hot walk on a 33 degree day with children whinging all the way till we found it. Awesome hide thank you.

After a few inconsistent finds, I thought it best to have a look on the cache as logs also indicated that the co-ordinates were out. When I checked, the cache had crept to another area, an area I had not placed it in but I can now see why it has, so I have adjusted the co-ordinates to this location.

3rd find for the day, beautiful walk, a little bit away from where the gps said, but still found
Looked for quite a while, but it’s hard to convince a 5 year old to keep on looking!
Will be back..

Find #3835. Found @ 18:12
With the rest of the family otherwise occupied, I decided to venture back to Lysterfield for a caching outing.
I've been on a few hikes in the area with cubs, but I've never managed to walk the tramlike walk track before. So today I decided to make the effort. On the way to the cache, I spotted a bunch of shelters in the park, I whether they were just stacking of branches or shelters.
The find of the cart at GZ was a pleasant surprise. I looked for the cache at the location that the satellites wanted me to be in, but eventually found the cache about 15m north of the indicated location.
Took trackable, left pathtag, signed log and visited some other trackables.
Thanks for the cache 4 B Ninja's

As our GPSs were playing up, we decided to look elsewhere and managed to find the cache as advertised. Overall a quick grab and go, TFTC!
Sinornithosaurus, AaronFilms and I spent the day walking and exploring around Lysterfield and completed several of the caches in the area. All in all, the day provided great weather and an amazing day out in the wilderness... we even managed to see some kangaroos and lizards which was a nice surprise too! We found some really awesome and creative caches, thanks to all the CO's for placing these caches ) #436
After initially looking around the wrong spot, we assumed it was gone until I broadened the search area and found the cleverly conceived cache just sitting there untouched, very well organised cache and dropped a trackable while I took the trackable in there also !! Thanks for the cache, always love a good ammo can )

Semi geo husband, little Ruverbug, the newest member of our team Lensonlion and I were sitting in the carpark and had just finished lunch when a new ahomberg gadget cache was published over at Churchill park. Unfortunately I didn't realise until semi geo husband had little Ruverbug's bike out the back of the geo vehicle and little Ruverbug was all helmetted up and getting on to go for a ride.
I knew there was no way of getting to the new gadget cache without some sort altercation and quite frankly I wasn't up for one with a focused 5yo today. So we continued with our plan for a walk at one of our family's favourite places. Some how the existence of this cache and three others on the western side of the lake had escaped my attention. So we used this afternoon's family adventure time to get a few smilies.
Thanks for the cache.

Omg, my OCD loved how neat and organised this cache was! Beautiful spot to stop. The kids would love to climb in that mine cart.
Gps was a little out, but expanded the search area along the track.

We passed this one earlier in the day but there were some people right on the spot. We decided to come back later.
When we returned, we found what looked like a likely hiding spot (complete with many sticks that would provide excellent covering materials) but unfortunately there was no sign of any cache.
We expanded our search but couldn't find any hiding places that looked any better.
Thanks anyway 4 B Ninja's.
Chiefton!!!

Such a beautiful place and like that this is off the main trail.
We've just moved to the area and are so glad we came to look for caches around here.

This was lucky last on today's walk around the lake. It took a few moments before Pete gave out that cry we all love to hear at 14:10.
A nice spot but with the skies threatening and the sausages beckoning, there was no time to linger.
TNLNSL. Thanks again 4 B Ninja's.

It’s awhile since I’ve been here for MTB so out to explore, find a few caches and see what has changed - more management for starters. Great time of day and plenty of resident Roos for company. TFTC
A day out walking the park allowed us to take in this wonderful area and at the same time gather up a few caches along the way. we had no idea that there was a tramline in this area once upon a time. Reading the information board that was well weathered and hard to read made us only want to learn more about this piece of history. After a few photo's of the trolley car we then focused on the cache. GPSr was indicating that we were extremely close and without to much effort we soon located the cache. A good size and very well organised cache. TNLNSL. TFTC. KKams
Oooh a nice big one ! Love the effort gone into all these caches here, thank you , OHC just HAD to make sure all the labels went the right way before I packed it all up
Riding the lake with Spiffy. Fav given for the nice well organised cache. Thanks to 4 B Ninja's for placing this cache.
Love it! Great hide for the geokids, and probably the most organised cache we’ve ever seen! Took the travel coin, made swaps and signed log. TFTC
What a cool cache! I’ve never seen a cache so organised before. Left a trackable in the trackable compartment.
Cheers, TFTC

My random number generator today told me to pick a walk nearby in the southerly direction. I hadn't walked around the lake before, so it was an easy choice given the direction.
This was the second cache on my walk round the lake.
I liked this track, it was very peaceful in the late afternoon.
The cache itself was easily found, nice to see the ammo container, and very well organised inside. A few roos around.
Thanks for the cache.

Only four kangaroos here today, two quite small, one of which was sitting literally at the cache. Thanks.
This was the nearest cache, real gem! Loved the different sections for swaps, log and trackables!! Very durable and rewarding to find. Thank you so much!
3rd of 6 trads. found in the park today
All in excellent condition. Signed logs and returned as found
Loved the walk, the flora and the fauna
This cache was particularly well presented. Cheers to the 4 B Ninja's

MontsII and myself decided to go for a walk as he is getting ready for his annual Camino. We found many varied caches along the way, over 50 kangaroos and even a trackable. A few stops to check out some items for "Tree Fiddy" and we were on our way. TFTC 4 B Ninja's
Best cache what a way to end the geocaching day thank you so much
