Bit of a bushbash for fellow geocacher Kaz444, my only assistance was to remove the tightly fitted lid.boom!TFTC
Bravely went in to find the Grenade. Pulled the pin. Lucky Gaynor56 was stronger than me so we could sign the log. A favourite from me.
This was sooo cool.. Such a great one for the kids.. They loved it.. All is still intact including exchangeable little trinkets and log book.
Find# 11213Nice easy find.Well worthy of a favourite point. Took a fair bit of strength to open the cache.TFTC Rock_Dok 14 May 2024
(9 of 9 today)Time to head home, but not via the most direct route. Am trying to target a few LGAs on the border that Im unlikely to revisit, and see some towns Ive never visited.Started at 7m in Tenterfield and headed west towards Moree and the south to Gunnedah.Even with regular cache stops this was a long way of solo driving. Finally got home at 8pm.But an interesting day - and even found two caches just found by a fellow Sydney cacher. What are the chances?###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###In the twilight gloom it took me longer than it should to spot this. Great construction here, and a fun one. Gets a favourite.Had trouble opening the container - maybe someone with some sandpaper would make it easier. Mind you, the contents were nice and dry.Added my ink to the log, replaced and its 110kph most of the way home.SLTNLN TFTC
Heading back towards Maitland we stopped for a few caches on the left to break up the journey.Another fun gadget cache to find this afternoon on this overcast day. Worked out what was needed and was able to sign the logbook before an explosion let looseThanks Rock_Dok for the clever placement.
Accio 16:31:44Found with T4mmmy on our long way home from Mega. Picked this one for the FPs - and worthy indeed. +1FPThanks Rock_Dok for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12436}*
Heading south again, I stopped off to find this cache. A quick find was made. With my name added to the log and everything returned as found, I continued on my way. TFTC
Gotcha! TFTC Found it with the Geohusband @NosmadaThis cache was definitely worth the prickles and the fact that it made me put on runners as opposed to my sturdy thongs. FP from me for creativity. Most definitely, the bomb!
#2636A quick grab with blowing my self up on my road trip back to Sydney from Mudgee
The start, and the end of my Rock_Dok Sunday. MY first visit today, there was someone parked here, so i stopped and had morning tea, hoping they would leave. They didn't, so a decision was made to stop here on the way home. Noone here second time around. Followed the feint geotrail, and soon spotted the device. Was not real sure how it worked, but i got it eventually. Maybe becasue its a bolt, i kept trying to unscrew it. that does not work. TFCT. I like the creativity of it , so a fav from me.
How lovely that my job should send me out to this part of the world for a few days. And given I finish work in the early afternoon and I have a hire car, well of course I'm going to go geocaching. Convenient, right!? A quick change into shorts and I drive halfway to Muswellbrook for a cluster up there, and then still feeling good and with plenty of time, I am heading back to Singleton but can stop for a few more seemingly arbitrary, but interesting looking hides. It's nice to pull into the side road and be able to very safely park here. Annoyingly though, a muggle was also parked nearby. I sat and waited for a while, and eventually he left and I had the place to myself. A quick stroll through the heat of the way and ducking into the bushes had the geocache quickly located. As has been the theme for this afternoon, I take a moment to peer at the PCV construction and suss out what needs to happen. All made sense and I did what needed to be done. It was so enjoyable and surprising that I reset it, just to film and show to some un-geocacher mates. After playing about and guessing what the construction inside must be, I signed my name on the log at 15:45 and reset again all as found. Among many clever geocaches this afternoon, I think this one was a favourite! Thanks again for an interesting smiley, Rock_Dok
Having read some of the previous logs, we thought getting into it would be quite difficult. Getting it in getting it out was okay opening it was difficult but we managed. Goldberry17 saw it from about 100 m away thats why we go caching with the Eagle eye. TFTC and a favourite from us.
What fun - a bit difficult to undo, but with a team effort we succeeded! A favourite from me.
This was a very creative cache which added a touch of adventure both getting to the cache and then accessing the log. Luckily I had the forethought to get the walking pole out of the car to provide extra stability on the way to GZ. I can see its got so many favourite points and Im adding another.

On our way to Tamworth for our overnight accommodation before attending AgQuip in Gunnedah tomorrow. Stopped here due to the number of Fave Points. It didn't disappoint. Adding another to your tally.

Loved this one! Took a bit of beating to get to the log book but thankfully no explosions today!
Thanks so much

Was back in Muswellbrook for the show. Was not able to open the cache to sign the log but have messaged the CO to confirm my find and log has been allowed.
So glad we stopped for this one. That’s a beaut cache!
Cache was lying on the ground but we could see how it all worked. And we managed to get it open and signed the log too. We replaced it as it was intended, had two trial goes at pulling the pin. Everything works well.
Fav Pt from us.
Thank you for the fun cache.

Have now sorted this one out and it has been re-attached...
Hopefully when you pull the pin it will work for you now as intended.
Had added a pathtag for the next visitor.
Happy caching.

What an awesome find! That is the best 1 yet! Pulled the pin and saw what all the fuss was about - definitely a must do stop!
I'm so thankful someone found this cache yesterday, because there was a lovely geotrail stamped out through the 20-30m of weeds and grass nearly as tall as me (granted that that isn't difficult)
I saw the cache laying on the ground in the open on approach and unfortunately the mechanism on the cache doesn't seem quite as explosive as it may have been in the past. When I read in the previous log that the lid was on too tightly to open, I did take it as a challange. I've found plenty caches very similar to the inner container before, including containers nestled into containers where the challange was to just get it open. There was a lovely tree stump on the groud that helped me pry it open. My name is in the log and I've replaced the cache about 2m from where I found it at the base of a tree instead of out in the open, but I didn't cover it with any camo. I believe I saw the original hiding place but as I was contemplating where to put it, the heavens opened and the 70m walk back to the car saturated me, photo from the car for your enjoyment. Cache #2 on my drive from Sydney to Glen Innes
Tftc!

Bit of a bush bash to get at the cache, and once there I could not get the lid off, so I can provide owner a photo of the exploding grenade (bang!) hehe. Anyway, on a side note take care where you step if you wear thongs . There are some mean prickles here!!
A quick stop, pulled the pin and BOOM, I had the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache Rock Dok
Awesome cache, hidden well. Be careful of long grass in warmer months. Unsure if it needs maintenance, seems to be missing a cap on outer camo?
SL Took stamp left 2 x geocaching stickers and workman toy figurine. TFTC Fav given.

May need maintenance seems too easy to get out and cap missing from outer camo.
After a very very long exhausting day we were on our way back to Sydney and I thought I must find a cache before the sun sets. I chose this one as it had many favourite points. As we parked i was quite confused why it had that many points as the area didn't seem too special. But! The creative build of this cache did entertain me!! Tftc!!!
Found with Shaneo58, we came up targeting 3 specific caches with not much luck around the Singleton area. Nicely placed and well made cache needing a FP
Cache replaced as found.

This is the 4th cache of 8 for today making a grand total of 3273 at 12:20PM on this Thursday the 29th of July in the Year 2021

TFTC. Found it after addressing my fears and walking through long grass. What a great cache but the lid was too tight for me to open. So I signed a piece of paper and put it in the outside container.
Could somebody stronger than me sign the log for me please. Thanks.
Love the creativity of the container so a favourite from me.

Chooo ooo [found] - with Dty73 and aquilus1 on our Dayboro Mega caching holiday! Fun! But the cactus got me! Thanks Rock_Dok!
Day 10 of our trip.
This was our last day together caching on our trip. The last leg of the journey from Tamworth to Canberra.
It was a great long week away with Tankengine and Aquilus1 - caching, touristing and going to the Mega Event in Dayboro.
We saw some fantastic spots, great caches, ate some awesome food and met some wonderful people. Thanks guys for a brilliant caching trip away.
This cache: That was a bit of fun. And worked a treat. Just going through the long grass was a little scary. Especially just after I had read that someone saw a red belly black snake. Nice cache though. Tftc Rock_Dok!!!

Well.... we pulled the pin and what do you know. It did it's thing! Very nice indeed!
Trip log: Day 10 of the 10 day Easter Queensland Trip with dty73 and Tankengine. As has been the way, covid threw things into doubt but we packed the car and headed off waiting to find the fate of the Dayboro Mega and if QLD would be the destination. On route to the north of NSW to stand by and wait... we got the news it was all go!
Having left Queensland yesterday today is our final day and a full day of NSW only. Finding it very odd not needing to wear a mask when indoors after wesringvit so much in QLD. A day of counties for the others... I have all nsw so some bonus caching for me!

What a fun little find. I originally just picked this one as it was in a LGA I needed and was close to the highway, so was not expecting to find a little gadget cache.
Everything is all good with this cache.
Please check out https://coord.info/GC8M4ZQ - CacheQLD - Dayboro - Queensland's Next Big Event happening over Easter 2021. It's going to be a great event.

Found on the way home from Newcastle with the family. The cache was quickly found, but the cap was a tight fit & it took some effort to remove the log for signing. TFTC!
Not sure that this cache was working as designed. Managed to get the lid off with a bit of persuasion. Not sure how to reset it sorry. TFTC
