Sorry to finish with a dnf. Had a quick look and found the cows but not the bison. Hedge has been cut.

With a couple of DNFs, I almost decided to pass this one by, but thought I'd have a quick look. No problem with this one, a quick find at GZ. I've seen wooden tongue but never metal tongue in cows before now! Thanks for the cache Bonfire7
25/12/2017 -- DNF -- As Arnie says "I'll be back."
Thanks for bringing us here to this location Bonfire7.
**The Day**
A 4am start for Mollymook this morning and now homeward bound we go. As it was still a little early I thought I might pick up a smiley or two for today. Bad idea !! Should have just went home, but you know what it's like. Now what was I saying about a cache or two!!! Managed 2 out of 7. What a poor effort. Jinxed by the thongs and rain I think .. .. .. not.
7 = 2 and 5 and 0 [8)] not attempted

We are enjoying spending some time around the south coast parts of NSW and doing lots of caching, of course. Each one took us to different types of places to either learn, to view and sometimes to wonder why a cache was placed there. But each successful find was to be enjoyed. Many thanks to Bonfire7 for this cache placement.
Found the cows quickly (selfie challenge accepted) but the bison of the name took a bit longer when confronted with lantana. About to give up or at least return to the car to read some spoiler logs, tried something that caught my eye and revealed an unexpected hide. Favourite point and another selfie sent direct to the CO.
This is our 2nd day in Nowra. We have driven through Nowra a number of times on our travels north away from the Victorian winter, but this is the first time we have actually stopped here. We are having a great time exploring the area and seeing the sights thanks to our own tailor made geo tour. What better way to get to know a place than thru the locals knowledge. So thanks to all the CO's that have hidden caches for us to find.
After a bit of towing and growing to each side of the road Mrs SKI came up with the cache.
GPS reception seems to be fluctuating a bit the last few days. Not sure if it the wind or 'the Donald' playing games with the system! Seems to take a while to settle down.

Another fine day out with my caching mates Hoojar and The Rats.
We tackled the Currarong headland first, then Callala Bay before light defeated us back in Nowra. Some great bushland and then bay environments during our travels. And some well constructed hides.
Bit of a generic log for most but TFTC!

With The Rats soon to be headed North for a few months, it was decided that we needed to squeeze in one more caching day together before his departure. And so it was that Steeba, The Rats and I found ourselves headed to the northern parts of Jervis Bay for a most excellent day of caching. The weather was perfect, the caches enjoyable, and the company stimulating.
We did a lot of walking, a lot of scrambling, and a lot of caching as we made our way from cache to cache.
Thank you to all of the cache owners, and sorry for the boiler-plate logs!
Cheers

Hoojar, stteba and the Rats heading for days catch-up and caching before we head away for a few months holiday. Today we chose to head down south towards Nowra and surrounding suburbs where a plethora of caches had sprung up since my last time down this way. The day started well before sun up and we werestill going after dark.
Thanks to all the cache owners to whom we found your cache today. Apologises for the generic log but it doesn't detract from the fun day we had exploring the Shoalhaven.

Found on our trip to Currarong. Well - this was interesting! Once we pulled up to the cache and quickly found the cache, we didn't find the full container - instead, we found the bison tube (with the log book) in a zip-lock bag with a pink note. The note read:
"Attention geocachers - we have kidnapped the cow! Just letting you know so you don't keep looking. Sorry Maybe we will return it for ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!"
After seven or eight years of geocaching, I have never heard of a cache that has been "half muggled!" It would probably be worth checking this out - other than that, the bison tube and log book are in good condition. Lovely dairy farming area that was great to drive through. TFTC Bonfire7!

Mmmmm, the container makes for interesting log removal doesn't it! Thought we were on a very quiet road when a 24 wheels of truck forced our turn around to be sped up. SL, TNLN, TFTC Bonfire7

Heading back to Nowra we stopped to try for this one. The cache container was in plain sight, no natural camouflage at all. It took me a long time to extract the inner container, but eventually the cache was in hand. A very clever idea and worth a favourite point.
The cache was in good condition. We signed the log and replaced the cache with a bit more natural camouflage.
Thanks Bonfire7 for the cache.

Loved it and it sure was not were I also expect to find a bison tube!
Beautiful green area and a quick find at GZ, its a favourite.
To future cachers.... please resist the urge to push the bison tube in so far, it makes it really hard for the next person to get out and it really is more effective the way the CO had I feel originally intended it.

On my way to morning tea but was running a bit early... Luckily this was an easy find TFTC
Drove in via Mayfield Rd from the gravel end looking for those graves but missed them. Then arrived here & had to park half on the road, dumb city slicker the locals must have thought. Found it quick enough but pen wouldn't write on that paper. Took logbook back to UAV & used the bonnet for a solid backing. Thanks.
Wished I bought a ball point pen, my log entrance a bit dodgey. Pretty street & outlook
I was using the benefit of an extra day off work to extend my hunt out of my usual caching range. After spending the night in Kiama, I had an early start to go further south to Currarong.
I had a breakfast stop in Nowra before continuing on. This one was a cutie, though it looked nothing like the cows in the paddock below!
Thanks for the cache.

Thank daisy and the herd , what do cows do on a field trip - go to the moovies look beneath the ground
Another day well spent down in Nowra, chipping away at more of the 50km radius.
Found roughly 15% of total remaining hides, which is pretty sweet!
It was quite hot today, hitting 31 degrees, but I managed.
Thanks for another nice day out.

12th of the day,
Nice quick Park and Grab to break up the driving/bushwalking caches.
Cheers Bonfire7 - no cows nearby to talk to.
Thanks

Another quick stop on my way home from Orient point. No traffic means you can park just in the middle of the road?

I was heading down to Jervis Bay for a dive trip on Sunday and managed to stop for several caches along the way. With a few detours along the way I got to visit a few places I have not been to before. A great day out. The cows did not show any interest today.
Thanks.

Travelled Greenwell Point Road a thousand times but never deviated this way until there was a reason. Cache was a bit of fun, especially for geograndson. TFTC Bonfire7.
Newberys and I stopped off here for a nice drive by, there was a bit of constipation apparent but that was quickly overcome. Cows are mooing well again. TFTC Bonfire7 SL [^]
The WEEO and I did a quick dash out to Culburra this arvo to nab a couple of caches, and this was the first one to fall. Loved the cache container, WEEO used to use this road when I was a kid all the time, to beat the people stuck at the old single lane wooden bridge on the main road towards Culburra from here. TFTC
New cache. No pen so took a photo.Remove if you think its a spoiler.Merry Christmas.
Yea.. The flys are plenary here, the moos are near the water troff so there could have been more. Soon spotted what we came for. TFTC
Thanks for bringing me along this road. I forget just how nice this littlr side road is. And thanks for the cache hide
A quick find whilst heading to Honeymoon Bay for a night camping. TFTC

I needed a cache today and after an earlier DNF detoured here on my way home. I have travelled this road often as an alternative to Pyree Lane. The cache was in plain sight from 10 mtrs away so I tucked it away but you might want to check it. SL TFTC Bonfire7
First to log on but had to be happy with 2nd to find. Tube found in an unusual place so not sure whether to put it back in same place or safer place ? TFTC
Yay, **FTF** Found at 6.15 today, - after a 43 degree day the southerly hit around 4.30pm, so the lure of a FTF out in the cool was impossible to resist. i do like this area, thanks for bringing me back. A clever hide!
